Isn't it the first LP single with instrumental and acapella released on CD? Excluding the collaborations collaborations.

It's fairly standard for a single release, yes, but not for LP. Previously, they've generally included live tracks as the 2nd/3rd tracks on singles, not instrumentals or a capella tracks.

actually its only standard for artists who are in the rap/hip-hop/pop/r&b genres. probably because those are the types of songs played at clubs and its easier for DJs to remix when provided with the instrumentals and a cappellas. thats why We Made It, Numb/Encore, and the hip-hop Reanimation singles all have them. Live tracks (and non-album tracks) are common b-sides for almost every rock artist. Also if you hear a live track from the above listed genres, its just gonna be the studio version with an audience :P
