zwieR.Z. Posted May 23, 2009 Posted May 23, 2009 Polish music shop fan.pl has revealed a tracklist of New Divide single. 1.New Divide 2.New Divide (Instrumental Version) 3.New Divide (A Cappella Version) We will get acapella and instrumental of New Divide! Excited? Quote
nkramar Posted May 23, 2009 Posted May 23, 2009 Makes sense, considering we'll get somewhat similar (at least instrumentals) from the score soundtrack. Quote
JZLP-Benningstrong Posted May 23, 2009 Posted May 23, 2009 thats awesome! i love instrumentals.. Quote
AudioNick Posted May 23, 2009 Posted May 23, 2009 Isn't that more or less the same track listing for when the band did "We Made It"? Quote

It's fairly standard for a single release, yes, but not for LP. Previously, they've generally included live tracks as the 2nd/3rd tracks on singles, not instrumentals or a capella tracks. Quote
[AndOne] Posted May 23, 2009 Posted May 23, 2009 Isn't it the first LP single with instrumental and acapella released on CD? Excluding the collaborations. Quote

Previously, they've generally included live tracks as the 2nd/3rd tracks on singles, not instrumentals or a capella tracks. actually its only standard for artists who are in the rap/hip-hop/pop/r&b genres. probably because those are the types of songs played at clubs and its easier for DJs to remix when provided with the instrumentals and a cappellas. thats why We Made It, Numb/Encore, and the hip-hop Reanimation singles all have them. Live tracks (and non-album tracks) are common b-sides for almost every rock artist. Also if you hear a live track from the above listed genres, its just gonna be the studio version with an audience Edited May 25, 2009 by Aiman Quote
