You welcome, looks better now. Its crazy how far Linkinpedia has come, I remember discovering it like 7 years ago and it looked kinda generic now it's more compact and cool looking, what will it look like 10 years from now? That's the question lol.

7 years ago, I was likely once again questioning how noone managed to improve the LPLive show pages on mobile, and why show pages were still not on the wiki in the first place after literally linking every single song to the wiki and on the wiki it would link to the live guide. Two different systems used by the same team and somehow it got stuck that way for a decade.

After I joined the team for some rather small improvements, I couldn't hold back anymore and simply suggested this massive migration.

We now managed to create URL redirects for ALL old show page links (meaning the lplive.net ones), which will lead to the new Linkinpedia ones instead.

 

Like always, if you discover something not working the way it should and it still doesn't after a hard refresh of the link/page, let us know!

Update of the Meteora Gallery, added some new cover versions and also quality upgrade of some covers, notably Bonus/Deluxe Edition cover or Special Edition DVD - make sure to check those out!

 

Also, update of The Rising Tied Gallery, added some alternate covers released in 2023 with deluxe editions.

Some updates have been made to the show pages: US states now have their own infobox section, complete with lists and categories.

 

Additionally, I thought about how visitors may search for a specific show on the wiki, and I've not been satisfied with the approaches I've come up with so far.

The first step was to implement a list search on top of each show list, like here: https://linkinpedia.com/wiki/List:Linkin_Park_performances

Try typing something to find what you're searching for, it should work as intended.

 

Let me know how you all navigate the live guide, so we can improve it accordingly.

In case you didn't notice, both Downloads and LPLive Archive* pages have been migrated to Linkinpedia.

Furthermore, the links are not pointing to Azure, but rather the wiki server itself. We'll see how it affects the wiki.

Also, we're offering the DSPs here as an alternative to the LP-Bits torrent.

 

*246 dead mega.nz links were fixed.

Wanna left an info here, especially for the LPLive team, about the changes I made in Across The Line page.

 

I updated the 'Alternate Mix' section. The first sentence that was there:

I updated the "Mastered for iTunes" to deluxe edition with the info that the edition was first on iTunes only and then on October 28, 2016 was released on other digital platforms. I think the same 'Mastered for iTunes' thing is not something that really has to be mentioned in this case, especially now, when the edition is spread over various platforms.

 

The sentence:

was not quite correct because Across The Line was never really updated. I have checked it once again few days ago and it is still the 2013 version, so I updated the above sentence.

 

Also, at the bottom I added the sentence that on May 13, 2022 new deluxe edition was released and in that edition the version of Across The Line is same as the LPU9 version.

 

Update of the versions section:

 

- added the album "Minutes To Midnight (Deluxe Edition)" with the release date of "May 13, 2022" next to "Across The Line (Unreleased Demo 2007)"

- updated the album name from "Minutes To Midnight (Mastered for iTunes)" to "Minutes To Midnight (Deluxe Edition)" next to "Across The Line (Bonus Track)".

Added lyrics for "Does It Offend You, Yeah? Remix" of The catalyst to TC Linkinpedia page.

 

Update of the release date of "Not Alone" stand alone release. While the song was released with the compilation album "Download To Donate For Haiti" on January 19, 2010, the 1-track digital release of it with its own cover artwork happened a year later. The song was released on iTunes and other digital platforms on October 21, 2011.

 

The credits that we have for the song there, might be wrong, the digital stores seems to have copy/paste credits from the MTM album for this song. I have seen somewhere that the track was mixed by Mike.

 

Also, added a slightly different New Divide alternate cover, which the maxi international version of the single had.

After experiencing repeated issues with a limited number of database connections, I moved the wiki to a VPS.

Added into notes of the remastered version of Prove You Wrong a sentence about the differences: 2 seconds less of the echo "You" loop at the very end of the song https://i.ibb.co/YsmrCvg/0750543.jpg

 

Added to the music video sections of Waiting For The End*, Believe Me, Remember The Name*, Petrified*, Where'd You Go a sentence at the bottom that the upgraded version of those was released. Also, the ones with * contain an additional sentence about the differences in those videos compared to the previous non-upgraded version of the them.

Here's the info on stuff that was updated recently on Linkinpedia:

 

Starting with the Studio Collection 2000-2012 - I created the whole page. I thought it would be cool to have this release on Linkinpedia with all the details about it.

 

Update of the "Digital" section of the album pages: HT, Meteora, Reanimation, CC, LIT, RTR, LT, Recharged, THP, One More Light, From Zero - all they are now up-to-date with info about all releases/editions. Also, the info about issues that some of them had/still have on digital platforms was provided/updated too. You might sometimes find this info very interesting (shutout to CC).

 

Update of the "Physical" section of the album pages: Reanimation, Meteora, CC, LIT. CC and Meteora both are now up to date with all major physical releases. Other than that, all of them now have a complete description of all the enhanced CD content with a reference link to a screenshot of the CD menu with all of its sections.

 

So for example CC have now up to date physical and digital section, previously there was nothing in them.

 

We added all the graphics from the Meteora toolkit and Reanimation toolkit to the Meteora/Reanimation album pages.

 

We added animated covers to the gallery and made them the main cover of the album pages. I think the pages with them looks pretty cool --> https://linkinpedia.com/wiki/Living_Things

 

Added to ATS page info for Production/Management/Artwork sections. Added ref links and fixed the release date for ATS bonus edition that is in the A Thousand Suns: Puerta De Alcalá page.

 

Update of the Live In Monterrey. We added inlay cover to the gallery, DVD credits, songwriter credits on the tracklisting and updated all of that related information around the songs performed/released. Also, update of the back cover in the gallery.

 

Update: Live in Texas - the Meteora|20 vinyl and digital release of the show features a slightly different edit of the show than the DVD audio - track splits, some talking is cut, etc. Nothing substantial, but we noted it and added those track times too.

 

Update: Take My Nirvana (PVRIS, produced by Mike) - added information about the song being performed live and noted that PVRIS added it to the setlist when opening for Linkin Park in their hometown of Boston in 2025. Also tweaked some background info.

 

Update: Unshatter (Live Soundtrack) - added tracklist, credits, digital, artwork, release information, variants, etc.

 

Update: Unshatter Movie - added the official announcement, quotes from Joe Hahn about the release, preliminary theater/cinema information, etc.

It sounds ambiguous to me. One More Light Live didn't include One Step Closer either, and Unshatter soundtrack is not really a full show.
Care to elaborate what you meant there, please?

The live guide has been split into years for far too long. Navigating across the years always required multiple tabs or many clicks.

I hope this will be useful for many users who were frustrated like me.

 

Speaking of frustrating navigation, the main search has finally been improved to accept general terms for showpages, such as the country, venue, year, tour, etc.

Previously, it was rather difficult to land on the desired showpage without knowing the exact date.

because now if I click let's say 2024 it takes too long to scroll to the top..

 

not sure if its possible but you guys used to have buttons like spoilers

on desktop, just click on the page title at the top or the table of contents on the right.

on mobile, same procedure: table of contents on the corner or page title, the latter might only appear again after a little scroll down.

 

I really don't know how you use the UI if you ignored all these

Added a quick search filter to the LP Tour page to mitigate scrolling on the search for shows. However, remember that typing something like "New York 2008" now works in the general search (in the menu).

 

Added typo tolerance to the general search.

 

Added related articles feature. Shows up when hitting the search before you type anything in and also in the footer of the pages

The venue counts and lists in the live guide were finally restored and have been massively improved. They now respect venue name changes, which finally reflects the true live history.
