Mike did say he wanted ALITS to be a refresher of the rest of the album, and when all the band members are at their best.

Uhhh the rhythm guitar parts for Faint and From The inside are almost identical. True it's not as in-your-face as GATS/ALITS but musically a lot more similar. There's a few others too that I know I'm forgetting.
