Seem to be one of very few who consider ALITS overrated, but ho hum.

And I seem to be one of the few who dislikes GATS a lot.

Great election! A Line In The Sand is the most unique song on the album, but Rebellion is my favorite. Nice to see both of them finish as the top two (even though I wanted Rebellion to win).

A Line In The Sand is the most unique song on the album.

It's the only LP song that sounds similar to two other songs.

1) The GATS chord progression is intentional

2) The strumming pattern is NOT the same as VICTIMIZED, even if they do use the same chords.

The GATS chord progression is not intentional? I'll be honest, I thought they meant it to be like a leitmotif, even if it is only in one other song.

I know that, but I'm saying that no other song sounds "similar" to two other songs.

I do think the GATS chord progression was intentional. Mike did say he wanted ALITS to be a refresher of the rest of the album, and when all the band members are at their best.

Uhhh the rhythm guitar parts for Faint and From The inside are almost identical. True it's not as in-your-face as GATS/ALITS but musically a lot more similar.

There's a few others too that I know I'm forgetting.
