    - The Linkin Park stage was already set up with fans in the crowd before this show was cancelled.

    - There were three announcements on the cancellation of this show. First, Linkin Park posted an announcement on the band's website that read, "We have been forced to cancel tonight's concert at the Hultsfred Festival in Sweden and tomorrow night's show at the Greenfields Festival in Interlaken, Switzerland as guitarist Brad Delson is ill and under doctor's orders to rest for a few days. We sincerely regret this unavoidable cancellation and apologize to fans for any disappointment caused." Next, Mike updated his blog to say, "to all the swedish fans: we are extremely sorry about the cancellation of the show tonight. we all sincerely wanted to come and play for you, but our boy brad is sick. this afternoon, the doctor ordered that brad not travel, so the show became an impossibility. we were obviously very disappointed and frustrated. we rarely cancel, and i know this is the second time we've had to cancel playing there. the band feels very bad about this uncontrollable situation, and hope to make it up to you as soon as we can…", and finally the band released a statement to Swedish press saying, "We are immensely disappointed and frustrated to be unable to play for you at Hultsfred today. We were so looking forward to entertaining and experiencing the crowd at your amazing festival but illness means it is totally impossible. We hope to make it up to all our Swedish fans as soon as we can."

    - As mentioned above, this was the second time that the band had to cancel their appearance at the festival, the first coming in 2003.

    - The band was still stuck on the runaway at the airport as of 8:00pm, trying to clear customs. They weighed several options, which included taking a helicopter to the show. They arrived at seperate times to the show. At the Meet and Greet later on, Phoenix abruptly said to a fan that "Mike has just arrived". The only two band members that were at the LPU M&G were Phoenix and Chester.

    - Scott from Stone Temple Pilots asked during the Stone Temple Pilots set where "his friend Chester" was. He was inviting him to come on stage and sing, like Chester did in 2001 with the band, but Chester was busy doing the Meet and Greet at the time.

    - After the Staples Center show in March 2008, Mike posted on his blog, "next, the iTunes SoHo performance. in case you haven’t heard, we played a secret show at the SoHo apple store in NY. it was awesome…the tracks are now available for purchase on iTunes. go check them out!"

They were blindfolded and taken from Warner Bros HQ in Hollywood to Third Encore, the location of the band's rehearsal spot. Mike said that this was the first time ever that any fans had ever been let into the band's rehearsal studio.

    - 'Fell On Black Days' by Soundgarden was listed last on a draft of the setlist, between 'Leave Out All The Rest' and 'We Made It'. It was going to be performed by Chester and Chris Cornell but it did not happen for an unknown reason. When Projekt Revolution 2008 started, Chester actually joined Chris for 'Hunger Strike' instead.

    - It was announced after the performance that Busta Rhymes would join Linkin Park on the Projekt Revolution Tour.

    - After the performance, the band handed out setlists to fans. The "Set X" setlist (played at the first show of the European Tour in Denmark) had 'No Roads Left' in the first encore spot with 'What I've Done' and 'Faint'. These May 2008 rehearsals were when the song was practiced and was going to be in the set, but the band decided against it and replaced it with 'Pushing Me Away' (Piano Version). According to the band's crew, the song was later considered to be an alternate for 'We Made It' on Projekt Revolution 2008, but it never ended up being played. In a LPU chat in 2009, Rob said, "Not sure if we will play No Roads Left live, we did try it out and didn’t love the way it came across live." In another LPU chat in June 2011, Mike said, "We played it in practice once or twice and it doesn't really sound good."

    - Street Drum Corps performed on the intro to 'One Step Closer', and came back out on the bridge of 'Bleed It Out'.

    - Joe messed up 'Crawling' in a few spots.

    - The band had a few small slipups on 'In The End' - Joe missed one sample on the intro, and Chester messed up a line later on in a verse.

    - Chris Cornell debuted 'Fell On Black Days' for the first time on the tour. He did it acoustically before 'Like A Stone'. It was rumored during rehearsals that Chester was going to sing the song with him on the tour, but he ended up doing 'Hunger Strike' instead.

    - Project 96.1, a local radio station, sponsored this show and called it the Project 96.1 Revolution. A DJ from the station came on stage and introduced Linkin Park before their set began.

The concert will be held at The Joint in Las Vegas on Oct. 6, 2008, and those who attend will also hear Cossio’s winning remixes of Linkin Park’s hit songs “Crawling” and “In the End.”"

    - On October 6, 2008, Verizon Wireless released another press release about the show saying, "LAS VEGAS, NV — Following a statement issued by Linkin Park regarding the cancellation of tonight’s concert for UNLV due to the injury of lead singer Chester Bennington, Verizon Wireless’ Ed Ruth, director of digital music for Verizon, said the following: “Verizon Wireless congratulates the University of Nevada Las Vegas and Valerie Cossio for winning the ‘Remix2Win with Linkin Park’ national contest. We sincerely regret that tonight’s concert has been cancelled due to these unforeseen circumstances. Verizon Wireless will be in contact with the University and Valerie as soon as more information is available about the band’s health and schedule.”" The official announcement by Linkin Park read: "Los Angeles, CA (October 6, 2008) - Linkin Park has been forced to cancel tonight's concert at the The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel, as lead vocalist Chester Bennington has sustained a back injury and is under doctor's orders to rest.     - Mike rapped verse one of 'It's Goin' Down' over the intro of 'Points Of Authority'. He messed up near the end of the intro due to the fans up front rapping 'Petrified' at the time, so Mike got mixed up, said "Yo, you guys fucked me up right here!" and just laughed it off.

    - Brad played a take of the first part of the 'In Pieces' solo before the song.

    - Mike played the keyboard for about twenty extra seconds at the end of 'What I've Done'.

    - 'Bleed It Out' featured the chorus sing-along bridge, which was not usually a part of the song on that tour.

    - Mike rapped verse one of 'Petrified' over the intro of 'Points Of Authority'.

    - The band debuted a brand new stage setup for the tour that featured among other things, rotating screens that spiraled and moved in all directions. Rob's drumset and Joe's DJ rig were able to rise and lower for songs like 'My December' and such. The "open" stage design was designed more for indoor arena shows so that the band could play several 360 shows. They also did away with the kabouki, so what they did at this show was Rob and Joe walked out to do 'Wake' while the rest of the band played backstage, and then the remaining 4 came out on the 'Given Up' intro. It's also interesting to note that this is quite similar to how Linkin Park did 'Don't Stay' as the first song at the 2004 shows.
