It was essentially a fly date radio show between the Nagoya, Japan and Washington, DC shows. The band was likely trying to find an opening for Ozzfest 2001, where they tried 'A Place For My Head' and 'Points Of Authority' opening before they settled on 'With You'.
- 'Papercut' opened the show for the first and only time in 2001. It had opened in 2000, but with 'Cure For The Itch' preceding it. Since this is the only physical setlist paper we have from this tour, it is unknown what the "Mr. Hahn's Encore Set" show intro was.
- After 'High Voltage', the setlist lists a "MELLOW Interlude". Our guess is that this is the first time that the 'In Yourself' jam was played. It also came after 'High Voltage' at its next known show (Rock im Park show 2) and this is the only known time "MELLOW Interlude" was listed on a setlist. Joe's other interludes like "Lee Interlude", "Short Interlude", "Falling Down Interlude" are listed on the setlist, but this one is obviously a different interlude.
Other Notes:- The band played this venue twice in a period of three weeks from May to June 2001, first for the Q101's Jamboree and again to kick off Ozzfest.
- The setlist for this show was obtained on March 10, 2016 due to an eBay auction of the show setlist and pass.
- Disturbed filmed their music video for 'Down With The Sickness' at this show.
- The lineup for this show (unknown for sixteen years) was confirmed on December 4, 2017 from a submission by Brooke.

Tour Diary:From an interview with Mike when Meteora came out: "There is one time, we had just played Conan O'Brien, I think close to two years ago, and we were just kind of getting started in our minds. We were at the airport after the show, the next morning, and we're sitting there and I'm like, "Oh my gosh, that's Slick Rick!" He's so obvious--he's got an eyepatch on, gold teeth, a beret, all this jewelry, a fur coat on. He's impossible to miss, a fur coat on. And I was just thinking, "Wow, this is crazy, I'm seeing Slick Rick in the airport." Well, it wasn't as crazy as when he came up to us and said, "Hey, I caught you guys on Conan O'Brien." I'm just like, "Oh my God, that's the greatest thing ever. Slick Rick just came up and talked to us!" Things like that, you never get used to."

Other Notes:- This was the band's first show in England. It was at the Kings College Student Union, inside a venue apparently called "Tutu's".
- Kerrang gave away 200 pairs of tickets to this performance, which was advertised as a "30 minute set w/ a meet and greet". To win the tickets, you had to call Kerrang and answer the question, "In which TV park does Kenny get killed every week?", with the answer being South Park, an American television show.
- In interviews after the show, the band said they knew when they sucked on stage, and London's performance was one that they definitely did NOT suck at.
- Due to the band not having any passes, Mike was briefly stopped at the front door a half hour before the show by security and was told he couldn't enter.
- The day after this performance, the band held an all day "day of press", which included a BBC performance of four songs in London.
- A 30-second snippet of 'One Step Closer' was released in the 'Crawling' DVD single.
- Footage from this show was used in the 'Points Of Authority' music video.

Tour Diary:2/08/01: MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA
Styles of Beyond has finished their time on our tour, and we were all sad to see them go home. they are really nice guys, and put on an excellent show. i hear they're going to go home to save up some money and showcase for some more record labels, as they are as of yet an unsigned act.
as for us, driving almost non-stop for days at a time with twelve people trapped in one vehicle with "the shining" playing in the background isn't one of the most ideal ways to travel. -hahaha- at least we got here; the drive from denver last night was pretty rough, especially in the snow. something froze in our septic system, and the bathroom smell kept rob and i from going to sleep for a while last night. but our bus driver (also named rob) managed to fix it eventually.
but this past week, the shows in salt lake city and denver were awesome. some of the biggest crowds we've headlined for, and the energy in the room really pushed us to deliver. everyone in our bus and taproot's bus have been passing around a cold. chester and steve were having coughing fits yesterday. all of our guys slept about 12 hours last night, trying to fight it off. good timing for a day off. we'll gather our energy so we can give 110% at the show tomorrow night.
i'm going to stop writing and go look at some of those art contest entries. good luck to all...

'A Place For My Head' and 'Forgotten' were moved to the start of the set and 'With You' and 'Runaway' took their place at the end of the set before 'One Step Closer'. This setlist was one song longer than what the band had been playing for the whole tour.
- The normal show intro used before 'With You' on this tour was used before 'A Place For My Head'.- After 'Crawling', Mike and Chester asked the crowd whether they wanted to hear 'Pushing Me Away' or a "really old song not on the album" called 'High Voltage'. The crowd overwhelmingly voted for 'High Voltage'. The intro to 'Pushing Me Away' was started twice (with one even featuring Brad playing part of the guitar part on the intro) and it was aborted twice before 'High Voltage' began.
Other Notes:- Mike and Chester came out on 'Head Up' during the Deftones' set. Neither of them had microphones. This is documented during the whole "The Chemist" section of the Frat Party At The Pancake Festival DVD.

Fans booed initially at it but by the end of the show, the band had won over the crowd.
- Chester made moaning sex noises over Joe's intros to the show. Joe performed three different intros for the set.
- After the intro of 'A Place For My Head', Mike and Chester said Slipknot asked them to fill in, and they were bummed that Slipknot wasn't there too. The band changed the setlist up from the show earlier in the day by moving some of the heavier songs up to the top.
- Mike and Chester performed a beatbox intro to 'Points Of Authority' and again for 'Papercut'.
- Brad performed a short 'Sweet Child O' Mine' guitar cover after 'Papercut'.
- Fred Durst from Limp Bizkit came out at three different points during this show: First, during 'Crawling', he started pouring beer over Chester's head (causing him to laugh), and rapped/repeated a couple of Chester's lines. Next, during 'Runaway', he came out and tried to pour beer on Chester again, prompting Chester to yell "FUCK YOU!" right in the middle of one of his lines, before continuing. Finally, he can be heard yelling "Fuck the guitar, let's do this shit!" right before the bridge in 'One Step Closer' (referring to Brad's guitar which had quit working in the middle of the song).
- Between 'High Voltage' and 'In The End' the band performed a short jam version of 'Pictureboard'. This is the first confirmed performance of it and the only known time that Chester sang any vocals over it. The track was performed twice after this (Rock am Ring and Tinley Park, the first show of Ozzfest). In March 2016, a setlist for four shows before this one was found with a "MELLOW Interlude" after 'High Voltage', which could possibly be this version of 'Pictureboard'.
- Chester changed the lyrics to the chorus of 'One Step Closer' right before the bridge:

Another fucking goddamn strain”- This was the second show of the day for the band. Slipknot was originally scheduled to perform at 1 am as 'Late Night Special'. At some point of the day the presenters of the festival told the crowd that, "There's a little change in the programme tonight: Slipknot will NOT play. Instead Linkin Park will play again. Slipknot have played a gig in Bremen last night, but since then the band has disappeared, we have no idea where they are". It is rumored that Slipknot canceled because Shawn Crahan's wife was ill, but it has never been confirmed.
- Around 8,500 people fit into this tent, which was built up in the Ice Stadium near the Frankenstadion.

The quote was taken out of context years down the road, when Mike meant that he was fine with fans going online and getting the songs not on Hybrid Theory at the time.
- Finishing the main set with 'Runaway', Chester re-emerged with an acoustic guitar and sits on a stool under the spotlight: "I don't want to see any more girls coming over this barrier looking like they've had the shit kicked out of them!", he spits, "What happened to chivalry? You see someone fall down, you pick 'em up!". Offering crowd the choice between hearing his solo acoustic rendition of Jane's Addiction's 'Jane Says' or one of his own compositions, the crowd elects the latter, and he strums his way through 'Morning After', a song "written about sleeping in my car". This song would be played once more in 2001 - on September 12th in Berlin, Germany. 'Morning After' was played again by Chester several times in 2005 with his cover band called Bucket Of Weenies. Shortly afterward, it was confirmed to be a song on his side project Dead By Sunrise's debut CD. The song has been played constantly on the Dead By Sunrise shows since 2008.
Other Notes:- This was the last performance of 'Cure For The Itch' until summer 2007.

It could have possibly been the 'My December' remix intro used later in the tour.
- This is the only show of the tour that 'A Place For My Head' opened. The band tried several openers on the tour ('A Place For My Head' and 'Points Of Authority') before settling on 'With You'.
- The 'Pictureboard' jam was played as an interlude again, right before 'In The End'. Rob didn't play drums along to it like he did at the other two known performances of this interlude. This is the last known time the piece was played live.
- This was the only known time that the SHORT Interlude was played by Joe before 'With You' instead of 'Crawling'.
- Joe teased the Falling Down Interlude before 'One Step Closer' but did not play the whole thing.
