  1. Looks Linkin Park is pulling out all the stops this time around. Interesting album promotion, incredibly positive response from people that have heard the new songs, extremely big shows on the way, a new stage set up.....I'm excited.

With that kind of response to their upcoming stuff, it seems as if Don Gilmore will never cross the minds of any LP fan ever again.

  2. Wasn't expecting songs like Leave Out All The Rest and Shadow of the Day, not that I was disappointed or anything. I'm just thankful that I can go into the first listen of this album with no influences from early album talk.

Funny thing about SOTD...I remember everyone because so convinced that the synth parts were going to be played on an electric banjo. I gotta wonder how it would've sounded.

    :D

  3. For the album cover, they should start giving putting up pictures of sections of the cover, sort of like what Avenged Sevenfold is doing right now with their album (see their news section on their website to see what I am talking about).

  4. I guess I can list bands that have toured with LP in the past. In that case, here's a selection of bands that would greatly benefit from a tour with LP (because those tours seem to do well for those bands, Placebo seems to be doing alright in the states as a result of PR07).

    -Muse (durrr)

    -Coheed and Cambria (fucking sweet)

-10 Years (PR gave them a huge audience...I don't Hahninator would be as into them if it weren't for PR08)

-Alice in Chains (Chester collaboration would be imminent)

-Chimaira (Might be a mainstream tour to put them on, but I think a PR could greatly benefit from a really heavy-ass band...not saying wouldn't be fit for an arena tour, but I just think that a sidestage tour such as PR would be better)

    -Deftones (Such a tight band)

-Gojira (Could alienate certain people in the crowd but these guys need a big break in the states, even though they toured with Metallica in the states)

-Shinedown (Total crowd pleasers and their music is sweet too)

-Snoop Dogg (Tha Boss D.O.G.G...need I say more?)

-Dr. Dre (When Detox FINALLY comes out, this could be a great outlet for promotion)

  5. Don't worry man =)

    i know about it.

btw. where do you stay when you come to brazil at Christmas ?

Lol, the steakhouse is in Baltimore. I'd love to check out Brazil though.

That doesn't really matter. At all.

And anyway, I see your point with the Brazil thing. But that doesn't mean all the fans there are like that.

I don't think all their fans are like that, this has already been settled. Hop off my dick.

  6. btw.

why you say "Brazil Sucks" ?

    Leave my country man u_u

the bands love play in gigs here in brazil

mainly LP that make just one show and say that was the best ever :P

It was a joke and Brazil has become kind of the "butt end of jokes" in the LP community, due to the Brazilian spammers on UStream. I have no hard feelings against Brazil, but I hate the spammers.

    For the record,

I go to a Brazilian steakhouse with my Dad every Christmas and that is some of the best food I've ever had.

  7. I feel like all these speculation threads are saying the same thing over, and over again. Whatever happened to receiving news on the new album when LP feels like telling us shit? It still hasn't been as long as the wait between Meteora and MTM.

  8. I think Astat is dead-on with his rebuttle.

For 6 musicians all playing together, they are pretty damn tight. Rob might be one of the most precise drummers of our time. You really should see LP in concert, recordings are not really the same.
