The show happened, but it was just Metallica and Mudvayne that played it. Deftones had a headlining show scheduled in Boise, Idaho that day (which was subsequently cancelled). No idea what LP/Limp Bizkit were up to that day that prevented them from playing this show though.

 

And that's the only "odd" Summer Sanitarium show that I can find. Some sources (like Wikipedia) don't list the Seattle show the following day for some reason, but we know that definitely happened, as there are 2 different sources from it.

Good to know, thanks! I know Seattle happened because there are Mudvayne proshot videos where you can see LP's set up in the background.

Faint outro caught me way the fuck by surprise when I first saw them in 2007, but Requiem/Radiance into New Divide was a really awesome surprise when I saw it live!

As much as I feel like an opinion should be respected, I feel like these statements speak for themselves. Ian obviously wants a war in the press with Chester. Whether or not Chester will give in is up to him, but I do feel like his dogging on DBS had little or no substance to it.
