  1. There is so many nic places you guys can hit. Its just I'm wondering how many are still open. If you don't mind walking a bit you should be able to get into dave and busters they are open pretty late. I'm trying to remember where broadway is in relation to times square. I think its right near it but I'm entirely certain. I know restaurants in times square are open late as hell. Dave and busters would be good for you guys to go to though.

Party at my hotel room. Bring some bitties!

    ;)

  2. Limp Bizkit is why Linkin Park has a career.

LOL that is the biggest bullshit I have ever heard in my entire life. Holy shit that's insane. I can't believe I just read that.

    LOL.

God fucking damn. Literally about fell out of my computer chair and slapped my monitor.

Seriously, hear me out. If LB hadn't made their style of raprock popular in the first place, the mainstream would not have been as accepting (or accepting at all) of LP. People hate LB, but there is a lot of respect to be given to them because despite the cookie-cutter garbage that followed them, LP also came out of that nu-metal scene.

    #doyourhomework <_<

  3. Both Gigascythe and Astat have recorded original music, and they are both very talented. There are also several others here that have the ability to do something great, so its going to be interesting to see what else is brought to the table for LP to consider.

Count me in. I'll start saving money for some studio time and come up with some sort of remix. I hope there's a deluxe package again, as well.

  4. NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ugh this made me sad. Brandon was so cool to see live and I've met him twice . Ugh...

and PLEASE for the people who dont like Julien-K for ONCE do not troll in this thread!

Too late. This thread is a bowl of troll food.

  5. anjum i hope at least they can come here for at least a LIVE EARTH CONCERT ;) and one of our lp indians fans said during the old linkinpark boards long back that Joe hahn visited india , donno how far that's true !!!!!! i believe thats our thunderstrike if im wrong im sorry :)

india is a part of live earth nations india live earth wikipedia source link

I don't think there will be another Live Earth show. I guess LP's not coming to India really comes down to who books them and where they are booked to. I am sure LP will play India sometime in their career.

  6. I wouldn't rule out the HTEP fully yet.... LP did RME in 06 and 08, I think they might do Step Up or And One someday again.

Or at least add Step Up verses in POA intros if the band can't do the whole song (like if they were doing a festival show or opening, that way the casual LP fan wouldn't be alienated).

  7. no i am not. I would seriously like for LP to visit my motherland and throw a show. They went insane for metallica this past march. Such a good show

I'm telling you guys, LP should do a tour like Iron Maiden did with their private plane. Route it in a similar way to that. Start in the Middle East/India, then do Australia, then the Far East, LA, Mexico, Various Central American countries (make sure to skip Guatemala City), all the big markets in South America, San Juan, Miami, Washington DC, NYC and then (since it is LP) go to London, Paris and 5 shows in Germany. Have Fiore film it all and Pooch get SBD recordings of the shows, you got yourself a live/documentary DVD.

    Or maybe I'm just dreaming.

  8. Lmao not the point, people would probably kill for a duet between them, and both have done this song before :P. It'd be like Jesse and Howard's duet from Killswitch Engage (Jesse was the former vocalist and Howard is the new one, and they did a duet during some Roadrunners United Concert Event).

They also recorded one for the "End of Heartache" album. See the song "Take This Oath".

  9. why disproving?

A thousand suns could be the first single and Trinity the album name...aww..I guess I just wait til that fucking album comes out

Trinity is a union of three things. For example: The Holy Trinity is composed of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. That's three things. This is LP's 4th album. 3 does not equal 4.

  10. I'm not talking about the album title. This gif animation is called "Message."

For those saying "blarg there's nothing there stop being so weird" you could very well be right, but I don't think Mike would call the animation "message" if that isn't what it is.

It has to have some type of meaning to it.

I gotcha...there's definitely a message in there, we just need proof that it's there.

  11. It's called Message. I don't think they would call it that if it wasn't an actual message in some way.

If it were called Message, it would be a really cheesy and uncreative title. LP can do better and (hopefully) will do better.

  12. That wasnt a good thing....

I was in no way promoting a natural disaster but rather happy for the country of Chile, seeing as things will be in their favor. And while they are down there, you can sure expect some MFR work to be done, too.

To FortSunrise, as far as Howard Benson concerns me:

My issue with Howard is he waters the vocals down in the select works I've heard him do. I feel his vision may not be parallel to Mike's, and Mike really does have the say in the direction he wants LP to go. This is all hypothetical, and I'm glad they are choosing Rick again.

  13. Say what you want about Don, but IMO, a part of the reason why HT and Meteora are as great as they are is because of his input. Yes he may have watered them down and influenced them to stick with the same formula on Meteora, but the atmosphere on both those records I don't feel could have been achieved with any other producer at the time (as no one else was wanting to work with them). Like Korn did with Ross Robinson, if LP were to ever decide to try and recapture their signature sound, I wouldn't be surprised if Don was the person they turned to.

I will also say I'd like to see LP work with a variety of producers throughout the rest of their career and not stick with Rick Rubin like the RHCP have done the last 20 years. It be great to hear what they could do with people like Brendan O'Brien, Johnny K, and Nick Raskulinecz.

On an ironic twist on "returning to their roots", LP could have Mudrock co-produce an album with Mike (to go back to their HTEP roots).

As long as Howard Benson stays away from LP, I'm fine. I hate him with a passion.
