  1. Dude, Creed was awesome. Wanna try to meet up for next time Manson is in town?
  2. LP do care about their hardcore fans, but this isn't LP's night. It's Tool's and the Tool fans who are casual LP listeners got to listen to all their radio singles. Obviously, a show that appeals to the hardcore fan would have treats like Runaway, Figure 09, etc. LP also made room for DBS as well. When 2010 rolls around, they're gonna have 4 albums and ND to cycle through. Expect the singles and some rarities. Edit: Next year is 10th Anniversary of Hybrid Theory, the "deep-cuts" are going to be in there, definitely.
  3. Haha, whoever threw that is an asshole. Why couldn't it have been like Stockholm in 2007 with a bra?
  4. This webcast is really lagging. It didn't suck this bad during Weenie Roast 08.
  5. Chester said State of the Art was dead to him...if that clears anything up.
  6. When I read through FTI, there was a few pages about Sanitarium and how LP pranked Metallica onstage during Master of Puppets. It said the band set up picnic blankets and Chester was skateboarding on stage. Which show was that from? And If anyone has links to the video or pics of Chester pranking Metallica, please post them here. On a "Sanitarium-related" note, a note should be added to the page of the 7/26/03 at Hawethorne Racetrack in Cicero, IL. That show was the infamous show that Fred Durst from Limp Bizkit threw a tantrum and walked off 17 minutes into their set, due to being booed by the crowd. Since LB breached contract, some members of the crowd tried to sue Fred. The people who booed Fred were encouraged by a local radio DJ who told them to write things on posterboard to tick him off.

Faint --------- -------- 20. By Myself 21. Bleed It Out -------- -------- 22. My December 23. A Place for My Head 24. One Step Closer Show notes: -No More Sorrow had the intro used in Projekt Revolution 2007, when it wasn't used as the opening song -Somewhere I Belong had the extended drum intro (Rob let LPPhan2005 on the drums for this song) -Easier to Run had an outro that faded into New Divide -Shadow of the Day ended the album outro that faded into What I've Done -Crawling had the Krwling intro -Faint had the extended outro -By Myself had the intro used in Live in Texas -Bleed It Out had the usual extenders and Rob let LPPhan2005 on the drums for the solo and for the rest of the show -When My December was played, white confetti came out -At the end of A Place for My Head, when Chester screams "Motherfucker!", it was written on the giant screen behind them -One Step Closer was extended at the outro, and the crowd simeltaniously went ape-shit at the bridge. Also featured the Reanimation bridge with Corey Taylor on vocals. -This show was sold out and featured LP's best visuals, lighting and lasers. -Chester joined Creed to share vocals on "My Own Prison" -Mike collaborated with Hollywood Undead on "Undead" -Slipknot let LPPhan2005 play Clown's percussion rig during Duality, Surfacing and Sic -Longest LP show to date, to be released on Blu-ray and DVD with a bunch of bonus features -After a very positive reaction from the mostly metalhead crowd, Linkin Park earned new respect from metalheads all over the world. Other bands on the bill included: Slipknot (Co-Headliner) Creed In Flames Trivium Coheed and Cambria Hollywood Undead
  8. It sure wasn't Baltimore, Chester's voice echoed a lot in the SBD recording of that show. On a random note, it was quite a surprise at Baltimore, as I thought they were going to play In Between instead.
  9. With that said, why couldn't it have been Britney Spears?
  10. As I said in the original thread, fuck Chris Brown. At least MJ innappropriatley touched boys, instead of Rihanna.
  11. Mike join Hollywood Undead for a song? That would be epic! Wish I could go! I'm seeing Creed the day before in Virginia.
  12. That's funny...I guess this could be included in the "LP Movie References" thread.
  13. where's the list of songs?
  14. theres also a BIG ANNOUNCEMENT coming on the 22nd. Since Revenge of the Fallen opens on the 24th, maybe they're all connected somehow.
  15. Season 1 of 24 Theres an LP poster (along with a NIN poster and many others) in Kim Bauer's room.
  16. the guitar tapping is somewhat similar to the Figure .09 riff....2:39 in the New Divide video. However, your point of view is much different from mine, considering I don't know much about guitars and you (used to) cover LP on your guitar for youtube.
  17. i think Brad ditched the headphones!
  18. After seeing the video for New Divide, I noticed the main "bum-buuumm" riff is played by Brad tapping the guitar. I noticed this is very reminiscent to how Figure .09 is played. Thoughts?
  19. I thought that was Rob for a second, but it's probably Megan Fox.
  20. this came out like a week after What I've Done was released.
  21. What do both festivals have in common? LP MCR Placebo Saosin very similar lineup, indeed. Thoughts?
  22. Kinda weird...but it's not like Chester is going to have stage-fright or anything (lol).
  23. I did...on LP myspace...it's very "rave-sounding".
