  8. by the way LP are playing the saturday knebworth not sunday this is a interview with the guy who runs the festival What’s the setup? Galbraith: ”We have one main arena with a stage at either end, nothing like stages next to each other like what you see at Reading. Our headliner for Saturday is Linkin Park, and our headliner for Sunday is Metallica, and the two backups are Mastodon and Lamb Of God, and they’re just the shape of what’s to come. The full lineup will include include some really special guests, and some really big surprises.” http://www.metalhammer.co.uk/news/stuartgalbraithexclusive/

  11. its not a 3day its a 2 day says so on that thrash hits, looks like its gonna be 1st and 2nd of august cose thats the only time knebworth house is closed to the public plus i rang to book a hotel and the one i rang is in the festival grounds said there booked up cose of the festival on the 1st and 2nd of august so its all true and on efestivals web site (there realy good with there info on festivals) has more http://www.efestivals.co.uk/festivals/othe...re/lineup.shtml this is what it says to be confirmed Linkin Park to be confirmed Metallica to be confirmed Alice in Chains to be confirmed Lamb of God strong rumour Machine Head to be confirmed Mastodon
  12. if you check out knenworth house web site (were the festival will be held) http://www.knebworthhouse.com/events/events.html and look at the calender on the riight it says SUMMER SEASON 2009 OPEN DATES (orange indicates house and park are open) and the 1st 2 3rd of august the place is closed to the public and I am certain Lamb of God are playing. In the rules of the competition this appears a little way down under the prizes title... "Two (2) tickets to attend a rock festival in Knebworth, Hertfordshire, UK featuring Lamb of God scheduled to take place in August 2009" Couldn't really ask for any better proof. I would probably call it a self confirmation. http://www.lamb-of-god.com/officialrules/
  13. Found this on the net: Coca-Cola Zero Festival 2009 The Coca-Cola Zero Fest will take place at Johannesburg’s New Market Racecourse on Friday, 10 April 2009 and Cape Town’s Ostrich Farm on Monday, 13 April 2009. The bands confirmed now are: ■Oasis ■Bullet for My Valentine ■Snow Patrol ■Panic at the Disco Now I see all the bands in the video in the link, but I also see clips of Linkin Park. It might be nothing, it might be something. Ideas? EDIT: Apparently you can vote for LP to play? Link here. And here is another link talking about Linkin Park being rumored to play the festival.
  14. yeah this is what phi said http://www.smnnews.com/2008/11/07/linkin-p...sist-interview/ Touring: tell me more - US/UK, what’s the plans? More festival type gigs, smaller venues, what’s what? Right now, we finished in the September. The touring cycle ended for Minutes to Midnight, and there’s literally not one show on the calendar. We are purely back in the studio and are going to write and focus on the new record. Having said that I wouldn’t be surprised, next summer we’ll do some shows and if we were to do that, it would be Europe
  15. Mike posted some new pictures of them in the studio. Check it out here. Thoughts? UPDATE mike posted this along side the pics in his blog http://www.mikeshinoda.com Every Monday, the six of us get together at the studio to review the songs' progress. Since some of the work is being done at home, we use this weekly check-up time to catch up and stay organized. Every few weeks, we vote on the songs, giving them an A-F grade. The votes are tallied, and we keep a running list of which songs we like best. "C" votes and below generally fall off the list pretty quickly. Right now, we're got about 15 songs that are getting A's...but sometimes an "A" isn't good enough...
  16. that is like perfect id be happy with eny one of them like a perfect circle, orgy , so hope it comes to the uk again
  17. it sucks its only for the ppl in the usa like always
  18. from www.mikeshinoda.com FORT MINOR fans have asked me, "What's up with Styles Of Beyond? Aren't they signed to Machine Shop? When is their record coming out?" The answers are long and complex, but the short version is this: S.O.B.'s record was supposed to come out years ago. Due to a variety of creative and non-creative decisions by S.O.B., Linkin Park, Machine Shop, and Warner Bros., we held back in order to work on the record and the release plans. After months of hard work by the group, we ended up finishing what we feel is a great record, entitled "Reseda Beach." Warner Bros., however, wasn't as thrilled about the record as we were. They weren't committed to spending a healthy budget on it; they intended to limit the hours and funds spent on its release. We felt that limiting the attention put on the record would basically cut its legs out from beneath it, and it would never get a chance. There was a lot of disagreement between everyone about this topic, but it essentially became a stalemate. With that said, we've come to a few decisions. Firstly, due to ongoing differences between Warner Bros. and Machine Shop's views on the creative and non-creative aspects of our albums, we will be putting Machine Shop Records on hiatus until another time. We're not angry with WB. We had always hoped that MSR could be an artist-driven label with special attention on the best creative ideas and good music; until we see eye to eye with our partner, we can't see how it could be a productive relationship. Machine Shop will still promote projects (like Linkin Park) with our marketing branch, but the artist development / record label part of the company are going to hibernate for a while. The market is too tough and the intentions and ideas of the two entities are too different for it to be a productive situation at this time. Secondly, we worked out a number of other options for the Styles Of Beyond, and WB has generously agreed to let them explore options elsewhere. S.O.B. will likely be releasing the album independently. Look forward to more info about the record as it materializes, at http://www.myspace.com/stylesofbeyond. My bandmates and I believe in the group, and wish TAK, Skully, Cheapshot, and RYU all our best. You'll see more about S.O.B. here one this site as their project progresses. And lastly, some great news: in the meantime, RYU of Styles Of Beyond has been working with some mutual friends (including Apathy and Scoop DeVille, among others) on a new project called The Get Busy Committee. They just finished a new song and video for a new song called "My Little Razor Blade." Here's the world-premiere of the video and song...enjoy!
