  1. Like I said on Twitter, there have been warmup shows for international tours as far back as 2008, so it's not a surprise they are doing a show. It is a surprise that they are headlining this festival, though. And like the 2009 announcement of "this is our only show!!!111omg", they always add another one :P

I guess they'll only add a few more to the Asian Tour now. I wonder if they'll do a European Tour after Asia or if they'll go back to the studio.

I guess we need to start questioning this, or maybe LP is just wrong. The official merch shirt says 1998, the LPU demos reference 1998 as "Linkin Park" w/ Chester, and this says 1998 as well. But Chester joined in 1999. Confusing indeed.

Perhaps someone should ask them in the next m&g?

  2. LP just started another official survey, they will give a signed Linkin Park skate deck, to a random person that participate in the survey.

It was really interesting they asked about if we liked the mix of old and new songs in the tour, and what are our favorite songs incluiding b-sides. :P it could be a chance to make the band notice we miss some non single songs!

  3. I saw them once in the south american tour, :D at the very beggining of the ATS world tour.

The requiem was absolutely cool, it really fits for an epic start of a show, people went nuts screaming since it was the first time the band played here, like, ever. i think it really flowed well to mario savio's speech and then wretches & kings.

The radiance really shines live, I like it a lot more than studio version. the piano and the additional "the catalyst" lyrics with vocoder really set a mood. it was refreshing after having a plain piano intro for like 3 years, with no changes whatsoever. the people was really quiet on this one.

Empty Spaces didn't had an impact at all. maybe it just makes when they come for me blends better with the show. but as everyone said, it's barely time consuming. after all the few times WTCFM was played in LT world tour, still had empty spaces

Jornada del muerto it's a good track for making a transition between the first third of the show to the second one (wich had the slower songs in both mtm and ats tours), unfortunately the first few times that the band played it it really didn't sound well. in particular, mike had problems on his mic during the show so it was just chester when I saw it and wasn't good. other shows had better performances of it.

Wisdom, Justice and Love its weird. at first i didn't liked it, but it growed on me. it's another songs that makes the show flow better (even tough it's an energy killer) but it really represented what LP wanted for the ATS tour. chester standing solemny hearing the speech it's just... this shit is serious.

I didn't really mind about Fallout, neither most of the people did. I was happy to see some lyrics of Burning in the skies live tough, since it wasnt played until australia. it works as an opening for the catalyst, but not as an show opener like when it was used on london.

I hope this gives you some idea about it.

  4. Yeah! I want to suppor this too. I'd love for some concerts to appear someday. specially summer 2008. it'll be nice have some proshots of reading my eyes, when the vand changed it a little.

Hopefully this initiative will appeal to LP management

  5. Not had chance to listen (I'm at work) but these are the ones I released on LPFuse as parts of the TOTP gig (including the A06/Shove It track).

They're all the same show - from 2003, a couple of days after the nottingham 03.03.03 show.

    There's a partial SIB too...

Then there's around 40 mins of the band setting up and rehearsing tracks (including a rude version of Don't Stay!)

Followed by a short gig including 2 versions of SiB and on the second attempt brad's string breaks....

It's a super rare gig and I have talked about releasing a version of it in some form...

Could you give us some info about the gig? I mean, setlist, place, date, anything :3?
