Fuse was likely not recorded in studio after the Xero tape. That's why. Same about Reading My Eyes with Chester, probably never recorded it with him.

Part of Me is the only song that logically seems to be left out for some reason, yes.

Oof... this always reminds me of the major boomer that was not getting pro-shot audio or video from when they were playing it in 2008. They nailed it on that tour :(

Do they endorse Joe "sniffer" Biden?

About the topic; black and white it a 100% DMCA thing period. Thy should had left it like that, just a legal thing. But now they made it a political thing. Musicians should try to stay away from politics for the sake of their fanbase.

Bad take asided, this is everything that's wrong with bipartisan politics. Why does being against the actions/ideals of someone has to mean you're immediately supporting his adversary.

A true democracy should be more concerned about debating problems and how to fix them, not to endlessly point fingers to say who's less bad than the other 🧐

Is this possible to record it?! If yes, I need to tell some people about this

I'm not sure if we'll be able to save the raw stream as it might be encrypted, but nothing stops us of basically do a window recording of whatever we're playing.  Unfortunately, that route would go along a bit of loss in quality.

EDIT: I got this answer from their facebook page.

To be clear, this is not a concert livestream like you have probably seen over the past months.  You can watch plenty of full shows for free on youtube, so we decided to try something different that focuses more on the actual Montebello experience and vibe, not full band performances. :)

  4. This is why I hate when LPL tries to do live setlist updates when someone representing the site isn't at the show. The entire community is blowing up about the Can't Hear You Now debut, and it didn't even happen. And there will probably be people who think it did forever no matter how much effort is made to correct the info.

Today I'll be going so I hope I can do some coverage for you guys :)

  5. No Seattle and unable to fly to a show. Closest drive is 13 hours which is not fun. Sadly I will not be going. I hope whoever goes enjoys themselves :)

I feel you. In the end my wife said we can save up a bit so I can take a plane (bless her). I'll end up in Toronto, if anyone else is going :P

  6. This is such a hard question... But I'll support whatever the bands decides to do, ultimately, they'll have to pursue whatever is best for them in the long run. However, aside for tribute shows, seems that playing alongside his recording would really be a emotionally exhausting experience.

However, as Chester proved with is run with STP, a band can move on and do well. I don't think he would have wanted to let his music gone from stages because it would be associated with a tragic memory. Ultimately, it will depend on what feels the band regarding this complicated issue.

I just hope they can take their time to overcome this tragedy...

  7. It has really been hard to accept and endure losing Chester. Its true that probably I drifted apart from the band a little bit, but they always had an special place to me as the first band I was truly a fan of. Chester was a gigantic part of that, and even though we always had glimpses of how troubled he was at certain parts of life, it never crossed my mind that we would lose him this way. It's specially frustrating considering how next to Chris Cornell's suicide this was.

I lost probably my favorite 2 artists ever in a few weeks, and I don't know what could fill that void... But that said, It really saddens me more for all the people who were close to them, family, friends, bandmates, and even all those fans who probably are even more dependant to their music.

Yesterday many friends of mine called as soon as the news popped up and were concerned if I were alright. So did I for some of my fellow friends. I got to launch with one of them and try to get some confort with the company. I Know I haven't been the most active member whatsoever, but I really hope this community sticks together and support each other and whoever in need during this difficult time.

Rest in peace, Chester. Thanks you for so much, for everything you gave us.

  8. I have to say, I expected the worst. And even tought the album didn't met that expectations, it wasn't by far. There are many songs that could have been good but they were just good intentions that fell apart.

As a example, "Sorry for now" has a nice intention, and a clear idea behind it, but musically is abismally basic and the chorus is really weak and doesn't add up. On the other hand you have songs like "Battle Symphony", which can't decide its mood or pacing. To me OML has to be the best track on the album, because even if is the slowest ballad they have come up with, its lyrics hit right on the spot and the music does a good job accompanying them... When I first hearded it (Live on Santiago) I touched me deeply even tough I didn't associate it with anyone personally, but gosh darn the moment I heard about Chris Cornell passing away this song popped up on my head inmediately.

I like a few aspect of some other songs, Talking to Myself sounds good, specially live, but in that song lyrics are somewhat bland. Good Goodbye also has something going on, but live is also better due to 2nd verse from mike and that it doesn't really belong alongside the rest of the songs of the album. Sharp Edges is something really relying on folk, but it comes out okay.

I've got to say, I got really curious about these people that loved the album even tough they don't regularly listen pop, but rather heavier music. Not because I have anything against pop, but because if you listen a little more outside of your comfort zone isn't hard to find way better pop. That also applies to the simple lyrics, many said that they were alright because they took personal issues in a straightforward way, and there are also songs that take these topics in a far better way, in my opinion.

The last thing I would say about the album, is that these song doesn't blend that well together. I've heard the album multiple times in order and scrambled, and I feel it doesn't gain anything from being listened from begining to end. And dear god, if they released a no-chipmunk version of this album it would be better for sure. After a couple of songs gets really old, and I can swear it is present like in half of the album.
