I hope the tv bradcast is being taped by somenone because the webcast has a very low bitrate. I'm wondering what happened with brad, maybe he fell sick or someting?.

on a side note, isn't the band rushing the show as much as posible?, I mean, they haven't done a single pause in the show so far.

I think it's possible they play there. I'm sure they fared well when lollapalooza asked which band would you like to see in the next festival. If they play in brazil probably they will in both chile and argentina too. the only exceptions between line up have been jane's adiction (which played on every first lollapalooza in each country - chile 2011, brazil 2012, argentina 2014), RHCP (which was replaced with Muse in Brazil, because RHCP played a 4 dates tour in brazil a few months before lollapalooza), and of course, the national bands.

on a side note, tickets for both lollapalooza chile and lollapalooza argentina are in sale now and since from quite a while (Chile since august and Argentina since september).

well now more people can try to record the webcast, even if its just from a screen recording?

You kidding me? It's a California show, we probably wouldn't even get the setlist without the band sharing it themselves. I'll be shocked if any non-Instagram videos surface from this show.

The band should be releasing DSP tour now... shows seems to change a lot more than previous tours.

this would have been a great concert to have a taper around :c hopefully some good videos will surface

because they played only 10 songs, that's even less than what they played during early meteora days. of course it's because is an special performance and not a full concert.

Pretty cool LPTV episode, but I hope we get some good full length episodes soon about the making of The Hunting Party. The set looks good, I was expecting them to do that anyways. I was hoping for High Voltage because of Digby's tweet, but I kind of knew it wouldn't happen in the back of my mind. They might still play it and surprise us all, though.

It might be drop on BIO bridge, you never know~

They didn't drop much songs from the regular headlining set:

Blackout intro, COG, Ballad medley, Joe solo, Robot boy, Mike solo and ALTNC and I think just Mike solo will be missed for this show.

Biggest question mark over the remainder of the set is whether some of the other songs can be played without their regular transitions. (With enough planning they should have this covered). If not, then something like Wastelands may be skipped purely because they don't have a way to play it without the Runaway transition.

The audio mixing was the same for both broadcast and webcast, right?

I just listened the album once... It was really good. indeed it made a statement about rock music, no doubt.

Even if I liked both ATS and LT (ATS>LT, in my opinion), this is a really good twist for the band. I was dissapointed about drawbar being so short, but it was a nice interlude into FM.

Is it just me or Mark the graves sounds a bit like blackout bridge (minus the scream and the electro stuff), like the part mike sings. It was weird at first, but it works okay.

Finally I must say I'm in love with War and A line in the sand... these were my favorite ones that weren't premiered before.

 

Well I know some tapers at Rock am Ring that were going to Rock im Park too but I think something happened to their gear
