  1. Spring 2004 for me.

I heard their songs before that, but never liked them.

Then in 2004 I saw few music videos in school (including fan-made video of In The End (Final Fantasy 9/ATOMX)) and fell in love with them since that time.

:3 my story it's quite similar, I started to listen them around Winter 2004, I saw an AMV (It was about Shaman king, with Somewhere I Belong), I got really caught by the song (I didn't listened much music back then), I downloaded both albums and enjoyed them a lot.

  2. Wish they would play a different set list starting at this show. Rock am Ring isn't going to like on that dancey electro stuff.

Back then in ATS and LT world tours the setlist remainded the same even for concerts like Download festival, so I don't expect any changes in the setlist.

We could expect mike to change last verse in hip hop medley between STB and WTCFM in RaR and RiP, tough.

  3. As of right now, they were so much better on the Honda Civic Tour. This set is so abrupt and chaotic. I just really don't like it. I hate to be that guy bitching today, but damn this is all over the place and not in the good way. Brad is messing up so badly and wtf is going on at the beginning of Untill It's Gone. They are just trying to mash everything they can in one set.

I'm actually enjoying all the chaos, seems amusing. but yeah, I agree on brad, he's messing it all around.

  4. Chester and Mike are on point today, damn! The mixing sounds incredible on this stream!

yeah, that's right, at least the mixing is good. often live stream mess up that. hopefully the band won't keep it messing it up, seems they're struggling really hard. given up intro skipped a clap.

On a side note, the crowd is on fire tonight!, as expected, it seems they won't dissapoint us. I'm glad they can be heard in the stream.

  5. I dont understand much bout the trailer but i'm excited that the movie finally been revealed. ;)

Edit: So the music only composed by Chester, Phoenix, Mike and Joe. Rob & Brad?

maybe they we're both working on the LP album. since they tend to work in pairs... seems like a posibility

  6. I am surprised the setlist for this tour doesn't include Forgotten or By Myself...those will really be one-offs. Pushing Me Away too. Hope they nail them!

    Great interview!

I believe they can be played at carnivores tour, they can always be rotated if they play more tan one setlist in that tour, and I don't think they would rehearse so much a song just to play it once. Maybe Pushing me away will rotate with crawling, ballad medley or cog. meanwhile forgotten or by myself could have shortened versions rotated with with you, poa or runaway.

  7. The DVD is probably going to be one of those live shows from last year or something like that. What else could it even be? Music videos? They would release that here if it was something cool like that.

Gonna buy digital again for this one.

It would be lazy as hell, but there's always the possibility that the DVD is just the album in dolby digital 5.1

  8. As for my thoughts on the song...I REALLY like this one instrumentally, but I still stand by my original statement that writing a rock song around a phrase as cliché as "you don't know what you've got until it's gone" in 2014 is cringe-worthy. Worst chorus on a Linkin Park song since Numb, and the rest of the lyrics aren't much better. Chester also sounds really strained again in spots on this one, particularly the part right before the second chorus.

Yeah, that pretty much sums my opinion. instrumentally it's really good, flows well, and you can really get into it, I wasn't expecting any heavier for this one. Also, I agree that that phrase is way too cliché for being in a chorus nowadays, but I think my main complain about the chorus is that isn't that catchy. If this is the radio friendly single of the album, then it should had been, after all, the purpose of a single like that is to stick the lyrics onto people's head.

Anyway, I think it's pretty interesting the direction they're taking, by the 2 singles that they've released. Feels like the natural step to the band after all the albums they've made.

  9. Yeah, that is a bit odd. Like you said though, they had a UK tour planned. No idea why they canceled. At least the UK can get Download this summer, though, with Hybrid Theory in full. That should make up for it a little bit. But I know I would be pissed if LP skipped the US for a whole album cycle.

It feels really bad to miss a whole tour cycle. I really wanted to go to any MTM tour show, but no luck. no shows here LOL.

  10. Great that we've got this performance. What I've Done sounded a little bit lackluster, tough. I was expecting more melody in the piano, due to the lack of other instrument, they even skipped the bridge since it didn't have piano, originally. Anyway good to see some different stuff on now older songs.
