  1. I think he's commenting more on the silliness of so many vinyl versions. I could bet that in a couple of days, we will be getting announcements of other exclusive vinyl colors at different stores and whatnot, lol. that on top of the limited covers that are meant to complete a photo (so its literally in their design to incentivize to buy multiple copies of the vinyl). Sure, nobody forces you to buy them all, but still.
  2. Overall, I liked the new song, but there is something about the chorus I'm not completely sold on (like I feel the metrics of the verses are a bit off).
  3. Yup, the messenger was brought 2 whole tones down.
  4. It's nice that we're getting more new songs live as pro shots. I hope we soon get some of the older songs, too. As nice as it is to have the September 5th streaming, some songs have gotten a lot better over time. I know we will eventually get the Brazil show, but it would be cool if they released single videos of the songs that aren't on that setlist (FTI, Overflow, and so on), so there's a good video of every song played on the tour.
  5. I'm surprised we haven't heard a thing about this yet. I thought they would use the theatrical release to hype up the current tour, but at this point I don't think it's happening until at least after the first leg of the north American tour
  6. I meant as in "at some point in the future"
  7. Now I can only hope they do Good Things Go or Over Each Other acoustic, those are tailor-made for the format
  8. Well, it seems that whenever they are playing at big events, they do get paid royalties from the event organizers, so I guess you can't hate making passive income, lol. That being said, obviously, being on tour, it's not for him to comment on tribute bands. Hybrid Theory gets a lot of attention because they are very large-scale for a tribute band (which you would only see for bands that are fully defunct). I think mike thinks this shouldn't be a topic he has to address constantly. What I find weirder is Hybrid Theory not publicly acknowledging that the band is back and continuing with their tribute with business as usual (I'm not saying they would/should stop, but they should acknowledge the band is alive and around).
  9. I'm going to both! Fortunately, I got my PR in Canada so it's easier to figure these things out, but DM me with your current situation, I might be able to figure out where would you stand, as a lot of people I know are in a similar situation as temporary residents.
  10. Ohh I'm going too, seemed like a 2nd easy date to make it from Vancouver 😅
  11. Casualty and this one should have been in the Bonus digital version of the album
  12. I feel as the new members settle into their positions and the constant comparison and backlash regarding Emily vs Chester dies down a bit, they will be more comfortable acknowledging Chester's legacy a bit more. While it might feel off for some, constantly bringing him back would only keep that discussion on the media. And with every clickbaity music website amplifying whatever thing Jamie posts on instagram, I can imagine they are just looking for this to stop being half the band's media coverage.
  13. you certainly did! haha good catch. Considering that 2025 might be using the same stages, I would assume these were "mature" setlists, they included already 5 new songs, and while they may rotate the rest in and out during the tour, considering their back catalogue I don't think they'll play the new album back to back and cut down on classics. It should represent fairly well the setlist we'll see in the From Zero tour. Unless they retool the act structure and the interludes they composed (not quite the same, but like when they jumped from Wake to Wake 2.0?)
  14. If I'd had to guess I think they'll only change the encore rotating spot, maybe they'll do KTTK again? I wouldn't expect major shake-ups until the 2025 tour. But considering what they have played and what they could play, it seems the setlist could use a few more rotating spots, especially if they add more new songs.
  15. I could record from the end of burn it down onwards, but the audio is out of sync, so I would have to edit it in order to fix it. fingers crossed someone else could pull it off as well
