Feel free to sit in front of a computer for 20 years, reach out to filmers and big companies, convince them to work with you somehow, and then release everything to the public while risking a big lawyer landing in your inbox. The material in my vault will come out at the right time — when I decide to release it — and there’s nothing you can do or say to speed up that process. And no, I don’t want your money. Although my friends and I have spent over $30,000 USD so far to obtain the tapes you want for free. As for what Pinkpop has been doing… it’s incredible. Memorable. And I highly doubt other festivals will follow the same model. Download, Summer Sonic, Reading — they’re too big and have too many broadcast deals involved. Pinkpop had a standing agreement with NTR, who filmed everything from the beginning. When you produce a concert and sell the image rights to a company like the BBC (just as an example - and some festivals need that kind of deals to payoff the event costs lol), after that they must negotiate again with Warner and LP, pay even more money, and decide which songs can or cannot be released. And when I say “a deal,” I’m talking about 1M+ USD, not 10k. I learned that the hard way, and now I fully understand why we don’t get full shows sometimes. Labels still have the power to block streams depending on their marketing strategy. I don’t think we’ll see another festival creating a channel like that. They lost ownership of their footage long ago when they sold the rights to big broadcasters. I reached out to GLOBO, the owner of the LP SWU 2010 rights. They broadcast only a few songs, but they have the full show. I also spoke with the festival owner, and he told me: “There’s nothing I can do. I sold the rights to GLOBO.” If he breaks that contract, we’re talking about a million-dollar fine. lol. So yeah those shit are SO complex and if any proshot shows up, just watch, enjoy and be grateful. This does include the 2024-2026 ones

2025.10.31 - Buenos Aires, Argentina (+ Flow TV Broadcast)
felipeintheend replied to RogueSoul's topic in Newswire
2025, and some people still think that a bigger file (14gb) could be better than a 4gb file. I have seen a 200mb file from internal tv tape looks better than a DVDM of 3gb size xD -

Newly Surfaced Footage: Fort Minor on MTV Overdrive 2006

Nice find my friend. Let us know if you find more files into your archives love that -
That wont happen ever. Festivals grab money from tv channels for selling broadcast licenses. WHY a TV channel would pay millions if the own festival just stream it later? No away. Most of festivals can't create a channel like that because they sold the licensing to third-party already. Not counting labels rules in the middle of all that. Chances to make this happen are like -1000% lol.

Starting to trade Linkin Park material
felipeintheend replied to easiertorun03's topic in Trading Post
Just an advice for you: Nobody is going to trade a rare material for anything just remastered. Remastered items doesn't have value enough for a trade, specially because the shows you are remastering are out already... So it is pointless to spend your own time doing this if your goal is a "trade". Spend energy looking for unreleased live shows instead. Good luck -

From Zero World Tour Live in Brazil Film coming to theaters in 2025

We literally met some Netflix crew inside the stadium mentioning they were recording it for a movie (not just a live show stream) and myself gave a testimonial in video to be used in the movie (?). We all know movies take a long time to be finished... I did ask a contact from Warner Brazil and they simply have zero info about it. LP has been using this strategy of keeping everything confidential (including their own label worlwide) to avoid leaks. So who knows? Maybe they just let it go... Same happened to the PR02 DVD which we got recently. They planned to release it, but with Reanimation and LIT happening behind the scenes, they had to just archive it for the future. -
I never said a proshot exists. I said a DVD. Dont take my words out of context. The circulating AUD version is VCD and I confirms a DVD legit exists off that source and not a proshot
-
Yes, but taper wont share or sell for cheap.
-
I am not 100% sure it does exists. Back the days (2008 or so), I had a talk with MFR to help them promte their cases and I gave their CEO an idea of promoting the concert and raising funds. They were all looking into the archives to find a copy and it just didn't happen. I mean... Someone in the staff plus the Warner's publicist worked on it and just couldn't find it, so big chance it has been lost, if it ever existed. GettyImage doesnt mean the full show were recorded. Remember they are a magazine, and rules for that are usually first 3 songs or max 3 songs in the set.

We will def tell the band our thoughts on what live show should be released for the mtm20. Be sure they ate reading this thread as well. Haha.

NTR who films stuff for the festival just mentioned it wasn't taped at the time, but they don't remember the reason.

Philadelphia, Veterans Stadium 2003 previously unseen footage
felipeintheend replied to LPMaskMan's topic in Got News?
It came from mtv usa. They do have other songs from a different angle without zoom. And then this zoomed one. They don't have it in full. At least we got it in the box set. Indeed, MTV version is in HD, quality is way better than the released version by band. -
First 3 songs just doesn't exist. It wasn't recorded and there's nothing to do about it. I am sure even the band don't have it. Glad you guys finally got to see this. Hopefully they upload the other one soon.

2026 ( 20th lplive x 20th Summer Sonic 2006 )
felipeintheend replied to thigolpbr's topic in Everything Linkin Park
My statment about that is based on what I have experienced with their team and warner brazil behind the scene during their return and shows here. I can assure you they are totally focused on the new era. I am not saying they will not celebrate anything else or release new box sets... It is just that it doesn't make sense now. I did worked in the music industry for a while and for me, LP is still working their new image and era, spreading it around, approaching new fans and feeling the result aswer for their mark. They are being very cautions with the public now, and thats why we don't see M&G for example. They don't feel 100% confortable with their approvation YET. Thats my opnion. So when you push some old content with Chester right now, when they are trying to sell their new legacy, it could not looks good NOW. Maybe later for sure. Or who knows what they are planning for 2026? If they stuck at studio and no tours, there are chances we get new box sets. Back to the topic: YES, I think MTM20 box is our only chance to get this shit out. Or unless Summer Sonic broadcast it someday. They have it, they confirmed it to me. -

felipeintheend replied to thigolpbr's topic in Everything Linkin Park
I always appreciate and love ideas like that. The big problem now is that the band are totally focused on Emily's era and I can't see any good reason at the marketing point of view to release old stuff right now. Of course there are fans like us who would love to have everything from the past, but honestly I have ZERO clue on what their management or Mike/Brad think about it... Someone need ask him when he's online on Discord. We first need to understand what the band think about releasing old stuff from now. Remember all the box set came up before FZ era. And how it should be now? Only Mike could answer. -

Great words, Mark! Thats exactly how it is. It is hard to track tapers down even with social media so... can you imagine how it is without that? Crazy! I remember finding a show and emailing Nick to help obtaining them and he would say YES instantly. Music for Relief story is so crazy. After bombarding the taper for years, someday he just replied and finally sold them all to us. It might have been the most expensive live bootleg deal ever. And Nick/Mark made it happen. A great result of a team work... What made it more even crazy is: Our focus were the MFR show and then we got as bonus: Inglewood04, Jimmy Kimmel 2003, Roxy 00, Docksland 01... what a WIN. Hollywood Palladium video is one of the very iconic show too, definitely! What about Japanese bootlegs considering the language barrier? He deserves every thank you word!

From a bussiness point of view: Rob helped build LP to what they are now. As much as all the other members... So it is very possible he still has his % of the band's profit as part of the agreement to they keep going on. If he were taken down from the contracts and profits, possibily there would be a big sue case involving LP. Even if MIKE and BRAD are the bosses, which they are, at some point of the LP members career they shared pieces of the whole company. in %. With that, if you want to still use the LP name/brand, you cant just remove a member of the greement unless he decide to sell his % of the bussiness to someone else or another band member. So maybe... the band wanted to return and Rob just denied, while Mike or whatever offered him a % of something involving the band just to let them keep playing, etc. That's probably what happened. This doesn't meam he is still involved producing or touring
