Something i want to add... the video is call "Meeting of a Thousand Suns" Not Making of A Thousand Suns. I know we are used to getting the making of the music, but this was never stated. The title kind foreshadows that it is a meeting, and like how the band struggle with this album more than just the making of. Tho i do hope we do get the actual making of, but dont compare it with the MTM DVD because it's not suppose to be the same. Just as you wouldnt compare MTM to ATS since its clearly two different things

Okay, before everyone starts saying that this is horrible edited and that this is not the LP we know during their "making of", which happens to be all the guys always joking around. This is a way more serious making of, you see them argue and tension growing as the deadline got closer. But i just couldnt stop thinking of how this is a big example of how the album is, we get to see another side of LP, i dont think ive ever seen them argue like this before, as well as how we got another side of Lp (sound wise) in the album. As you can see it stars like a regular making of, chester brad and mike just joking around, specially Brad, but its not the same kind of fun. Just how the album starts like a LP album, but then it just goes another different road. You see the tension building, and it got to the point where i actually got scare of it. Also the small clips represent the small clips in the album, which helped build the tension even more. And if you think about it the album its the same way, the tension builds until The Catalyst happens, the destruction of everything. and it got to the point where they guys felt that way in the video. But in the end, chester gives a speech of how they need to just say fuck everything and everyone, and all they need to do is to write music. It gives the band hope, as The Messenger gives hope once the The Catalyst had happen in the album. For me thats the theme of the album, shit happens but no matter how bad things might end up, there is always hope of things getting better. If you pay close attention you can tell some of the songs have that same message. "Do you feel cold and lost in desperation, You build up hope but failure's all you've known, Remember all the sadness and frustration, And let it go" I really wished i could of seen this before listening to the album. So my advise to people who havent heard the album yet, make sure you watch this first. And just like the album, make sure you go to this with an open mind, and not expecting the same LP.

Wow.....thats what actually came out of my mouth after listen to this song, i know it maybe too early o say this, but this song has changed of what a LP song is. An LP song is any song that sticks to me and makes me want to just play it over and over it again. The lyrics are just great, i going thru something like that now and it actually cheered me up that the song talks about that. Numb is my favorite song of all times, but this song it's getting there. But like i said, too early to tell, but this might become my favorite LP song, hell, my favorite song of all time.

the messenger - WOW. actually this is the best. holy shit. great way to end it. wish it built up from acoustic guitar though. Like Gunslinger? Because i was thinking the same thing

Selling out? Really? Just because they play what they want and not what whinny kids like you want they are selling out?

Here is what i think, i really dont want them to go to HT or meteora sound, i really dont. Dont get me wrong, i love them, Meteora, for me at least, its a perfect album, a master piece. But listen, if they make another album that sonds just like it, then it would lose that "special" ness of it for me. Like it it would just be another Lp album that sounds the same. We all love In the End, Crawling, Numb and Faint (few examples) but do we really want them to make something similar. Something that ruins them for us? I dont. its like eating McDonalds, you love it, but too much of it just gets annoying.

i really cant wait for this album to come out, just imagine the new sound with Mike's rapping, that would be a interesting song to hear. Now Let's all call our local radio station so this song can get the recognition that it deserves!

Here is my opinion...I really like it, i can hear this song and never get tired of it and thats for me its the definition on of a LP song. The lyrics really has a big impact on me, and i cant wait to see the making of ATS. When MTM came out, i like it, but not love it, But when i saw the making of i saw how hard they worked on it and therefore i fell in love with it. I cant wait to see how they worked to put this song together. Some might hate it, some might like it. But you have to be mature enough to understand LP changed. Im not telling you to like it, if you dont then dont. I actually feel bad for people that act like that, but oh well for me they are missing out. But there is a reason why you are in this forum, we all like Lp and therefore try to understand, if you dont then you dont like LP only their songs, then you shouldnt be here...but thats my opinion

I wonder if Alex's gf is happy that he was named in the video xD But being serious now, i like the remix, and well it is what it is a remix and i really did like it. I feel happy for the guy and it seems he deserved it.

I am foreign so i might get this wrong, but doesnt that mean that very little of the guitar parts could of have been replaced, and not that there is very little guitar on the song. He never said, there is little guitar at all.
