  1. You have to def listen to the whole song to get the full effect.
  2. yes its bass. im guessin some of us fans dont listen to music that doesnt have the guitar so up front but...uhh if anyone recalls minutes to midnight then..ya know that whole album from 3 years ago that was distorted guitar up front every song...then this shouldnt bother anyone
  3. um....brad does a lot of guitar in this song..its just not in ur face..and there is plenty of bass..i dont really know what your talkin about.
  4. this song will be amazing live. mike is gonna have a lot of fun. they should probably have some a background harmonies pre-recorded for live cuz they really make the song for me. mike will have both keyboards on this song the virus and the korg unless hes upgrade. brads playin the fender and joe is gonna be cheezing this whole song. lol
  5. Really good preview. actually all 3 of them that weve gotten so far are great. the medal of honor one sounds like they just cut and paste the beginning and ending and put em together for the trailer actually.
  6. great news. i'm banking on LP putting out the new album first or second week of december. 4th quarter release. US winter tour will probably follow in jan or feb. single probably mid october when they start touring. looks like they definitely almost done the album. cant wait to hear the new music. touring wise set at least for a promo tour will only be like 3 new songs and rest a good mix. tho im betting "not alone" will be played as an acoustic piano version. ill take bets on that lol
  7. so i cant really give a grade or points for demos...cuz they are demos and the final version is usually better and besides LOATR most of the demos im glad didnt stay that way. A-six - should of got recorded vocals for this song. cuz it would of been awesome lol. Faint - mikes lyrics arent that good. and the demo guitar part is kinda blah Sad - its cool. sounds like a demo, i dont know what else to say Fear - Mike is a beast songwriter. I really like the chorus. Mike wasnt really 50 cent rappin...he was mappin out what he thought a verse should sound like..not sure why everyone is sayin that. Figure.09 - its kinda heavy but its feels a bit unsure. and i did brads tapping on the final version Stick And Move - only thing really similar to runaway are the drums lol. almost a totally different song. pretty cool Across The Line - I like the song. but....doesnt fit M2M. it does build like in pieces and i dunno where it fit on that album. its got a life of its own. Drawing - dig all the drum and beat stuff joe and mike were tryin out. pretty cool. really rhythmic. the end is kinda hilarious lol. im sure mike and joe knew none of that was makin the cut. Drum Song - my favorite demo ive heard. its amazing. i like mikes humming and singing on it. glad chester sang the song though. the added guitar solo does so much for this song as well.

  9. M2M wasn't Emo......wtf. that used to be a genre of music and now anyone that mentions hurt on a song gets the emo stamp. My chemical Romance had an album full of happy songs and they still got the emo stamp. Im so sick of american reviews. and its not linkin park. its nothing close to Linkin park. he 1 out of 6 band members. Chester wasnt trying to make a new sound, or just sell records. he had songs that he wrote and wanted to play them. every album someone puts out isnt meant to be groudbreaking. Dead by sunrise is a good band but they arent amazing like Linkin park. that doesnt mean i dont like the album or think that chester did wrong by having a new band.
  10. chester was dead on. Actually one of his best nights in a while I think. you want a bad performance...rock am 2007. check out bleed it out. everyone messed up that song bad. Its actually hillarious
  11. Its not that its not a smart move and i can understand why they do it. I have friends who say they would rather listen to the polished album version then have a band mess around with their song on stage. and the live sound is raw and rough and many people dont like it. and mass media wants everything nice and clean. it just takes away from the actual "performance aspect that we love" which sux.
  12. They can do with out LFY, from the inside, and SIB. but i think POA needs to stick around. too good of a song to cut loose. they can also deal without no more sorrow. I wish they would cut NUMB but that would be dreaming. too big of a hit. everything else can stay though. faint, osc, crawling, what ive done. all necessary for the people.
  13. any vids up? yea my band would never close with a cover. the opener and closer are very important and u gotta have people singing your songs on their drive home.
  14. the video is good. its pretty much what I thought it would be. Nothing special but its cool. and Crawl Back in is a good song. Im glad chester is doing his thing.
  15. sorry dude. your wrong. LP needs to play the singles for a world tour. They care about the hardcore fans and that is why the setlist we get is so diverse and they change intros and flip songs different ways but you have to play the songs that EVERYONE knows cuz those are the songs that people came to see live. the person who is like...I like that one song they did will go to a concert and be blown away and then buy their albums and appreciate all the others songs...but they are gonna wanna see "Their song and chances are that song is SINGLE. LP is huge but there is always a higher level
  16. Mike had a few issues in the show(his guitar was out of tune and he almost got hit with a water bottle). LP should of headlined. Tool is a great band but yea they have horrible attitudes and LP is way bigger then them. who really wants to follow LP after all that cuz...uh who really knows Tool songs like that. as for this ridiculous argument....they only played 18 shows. most bands dont even switch up their set list on tours so we got lucky during the minutes to midnight touring cycle so stop bitching. better for them to play a solid single set every show than to keep switching up things. and that set was soild!!!! Dedicated to me was such a treat. like Mike really listened to what we asked for. and as for he Chester has a powerful voice but is not on key everynote so what!! he puts on a great show. oh and Dead by sunrise kicks ass!!! and im not sayin that cuz I love LP. they are good in their own right
  17. cuz they are tools...and chester sounds fine. Numb was good. breaking the habit is fine...stop bitching...
  18. yea mikes intro was awesome till his guitar went out of tune when he hit the last chord...lol. he did a really quick switch if anyone caught it...lol
  19. Is this the first webcast we get of LP when they take the stage in the daytime since...RAR04? Omg. yea im stoked about that!!!! playing music outside in the daytime is like doing certain explicit activities outside in the daytime...
  20. yea so am I but... if they do the full set Tool isnt goin on until 10 pm PST then. not like i care I want them to do everything.
  21. we got bout 50 minutes till LP plays. Alice and chains will probably finish round 10:15...and LP's set will prolly be cut a lil bit specially with dead by sunrise playing
  22. doesnt surprise me too much. I am enjoying Alice and Chains though. Im a lil bit surprise Tool got to headline. LP headlined like every show in Europe and Asia and they come home and dont get to headline. i dont mind cuz im in philly and id have to wait even longer.
  23. I like the old my suffering better. Fire and Crawl back in are good song. Im not expecting anything to sound like Linkin park when I listen to DBS. I just know chester is good at what he does so I expect good music.
  24. wrong... Lp does think about setlist as much as we do. they have to adhere to the latest album, new and old fans, and the prominent songs that were big hits. and that is what the set list is comprised of. that does not mean LP is in it for the money, they are in it for their fans more than you think. when they brought back place for my head back in 2008 that really meant they listen to the fans but songs like easier to run, hit the floor, by myself, and one...i cant ever see them playing them again unless they did like an underground tour or something
