I disagree. I'd much rather see In The End take a short break over One Step Closer. One Step Closer, Bleed it Out, and Faint are all staples for live shows. They pump the crowd up and the band loves playing them. I think that they sound great live because the band seems really into it, which is why A Place For My Head seems to stand out from the rest of the songs live, because the band really loves playing that song. Just my opinion.

I notice we are usually talking about Chester and Brad when we mention heavy songs, with the occasional Rob. We seem to be overlooking Mike on the rapping front, who has had some fairly aggressive rapping parts, especially during the Xero and Hybrid Theory (band) days. While it may not exactly qualify as a heavy song, his parts during a lot of the songs released in that era were fairly aggressive.

I do find it ironic though, that people claim that Hybrid Theory and Meteora were the best because they are "so heavy", when most fans agree that LP's heaviest songs came after those albums.

I think we are talking more about of their catalog of songs, which is the heaviest. We all know LP isn't a particularly heavy band, but they have made some heavier songs, like No More Sorrow, QWERTY and VICTIMIZED.

If I were to pick one from each album, I would go: HT: A Place For My Head (Just gets me pumped up more than any other song on the album) M: Foreword/Don't Stay (See above) MTM: No More Sorrow (Heavy drums, guitar, and vocals all in one, better than Given Up) ATS: Blackout (The only song on the album where Chester gets aggressive) LT: VICTIMIZED (Do I really need to explain this?)

I would honestly say VICTIMIZED/QWERTY (live) as it combines arguably one of the heaviest LP studio songs with one of the heaviest LP Live songs.

Yeah, and the video itself was pretty bad. The worst LP video to date in my opinion. The interactivity was a cool idea, but it just wasn't executed very well.

This. If you look at the multitracks for LIVING THINGS, namely LOST IN THE ECHO, not much happens instrumentally outside of the synths. I muted the synths, and it was basically an acapella with some random electronic guitar riffs, bass synths, and electronic drum beats. At least A Thousand Suns had a lot going on instrumentally. LIVING THINGS seemed kind of bare in that regard.

I agree completely, and I'm not trying to argue with that. All I'm wondering is if people here dislike Numb because of the song, or the amount of times it has been played live.

I wonder if LP dropped Numb, just for a little bit, would be happy to see it come back? The number one complaint on it is that it has been played at every LP show since 2003, so if they dropped it for a tour or two, I wonder what would happen.

In my opinion, there are better candidates to be dropped for Figure .09 than The Catalyst. I would much rather see The Catalyst dropped in favor of another ATS song, like Wretches and Kings or WTCFM. They also perform the song badly live. If Chester would scream the last chorus like he does on the album, LGM would be better and more energetic.

I would much rather see them drop LGM than COG. Also, I seem to be the only person here who likes the Ballad Medley.

I heard Shadow of The Day at Walmart last week. Seemed rather strange to me to hear that song at Walmart. I also had to sit through an anti-bullying assembly at school, and they used both Iridescent and LOST IN THE ECHO during the slideshows.
