I just watched it. What an incredible show! I never imagined a show from 2012 would have this kind of energy. The band was impeccable, "A Place for Me" was incredible. It's great that we can now enjoy another show.

I've already said this in the chat and in other topics. I don't see a problem with the band making these old shows available on a stream page for purchase. At least from 2000-2004, since we already had the HT20 and M20 box sets. Thousands of fans would love to see shows like that. Who here wouldn't pay $20 to $30 to watch a never-before-seen proshot? Imagine a show from Reading 2003, Rock in Park 2001, Download Festival 2004, Dragon Festival 2001, Docklands 2001 (Master Tape), Detroit Theatre 2003, etc... These are just a few examples. I would pay to watch them. Here's a quick and simple calculation: if each show were sold for $20, and I'm making a quick calculation that only 5,000 people in the world buy just one show, that would be a return of $100,000 for just one show that's sitting unused in the band's coffers. I know the band is a millionaire and is looking at a new phase. But hey, this is so simple to do, and hundreds, thousands of fans, even those who like the new phase, would certainly be very happy and would pay to watch these shows. Another detail: I'm almost certain the band already has their shows digitized. I would buy them all.

Me neither. Rock am Ring is a historic show, but we already had it online in great quality. I understand that the band may have wanted to make it official in the box set, but they could have at least included Docklands as well. PR02 could have been the entire show without mixing performances. Either San Diego or Las Vegas. But even so, it was something historic because we didn't have anything from 2002. Besides One Step Closer (Colorado) and that video of My December in Kansas.

I don't understand either. Another show that I was sure could be released on M20 was the Detroit Theatre 2003 show. That show would have been incredible; part of it that we have on YouTube shows how cool the filming and audio turned out. Reading 2003 would have been incredible too. I really don't understand and I don't know who chooses the shows for the box set lol

As I said in another post. I hope that, as the years go by, more and more material from Linkin Park's shows with Chester will surface. It would be interesting if other major festivals, such as Rock am Ring, Download Festival, Reading, and others, followed Pinkpop's model of releasing the performances on an official channel. Not just Linkin Park, of course, but we would also have historic performances from other great bands.

an update of the TRT video clips in HD would be interesting.

MTM20th box set in 2027???? Yes or No ????
thigolpbr replied to thigolpbr's topic in Everything Linkin Park
I believe MTM will happen. I will think positive! Sometime momento next year, they (Warner/band) sat down and planned it. And we won't know until 2027. I wonder how they'll do it? HT20 was a trailer and MT20 was the puzzles Did they follow one of these formulas or something new? I think the trailer would be something cool and more direct. -

MTM20th box set in 2027???? Yes or No ????

It wouldn't make sense to skip MTM20 and release only ATS20. MTM will be the key to knowing whether the band will revisit the past (which all fans love and would like) or, if not, we'll know that the band has definitively ended the old era. Which, honestly, would be very sad and disappointing. I respect the band's new phase because they're happy and successful. They've also gained new fan bases from the new generation and such. But I still prefer the old lineup, and that's fine, as long as we respect each other. The band knows this detail too, and at least I think they still care about their old-school fans, and these box sets, at least of MTM20 and ATS20, would still be a gift to the fan community. I know this thread is just related to Mike's response to a fan about TRT20, but I wanted to create this thread so that in a year and a half we can come back here with a photo of the MTM20 boxset 😃 or a screenshot of Mike on Discord saying that there won't be MTM20.😞 -
Hey soldiers, what do you think of Mike responded on Discord to a fan who asked, "Are you going to do any kind of event or release for The Rising Tied 20th... MikeShinoda, we don't have any plans for any anniversary releases right now. Looking forward to the future, not the past."https://x.com/BroodingAnanas/status/1977961717490676121/photo/1 After this comment from Mike, will we not have any more box sets? or is it too early for them to think about MTM20? What do you think?

2026 ( 20th lplive x 20th Summer Sonic 2006 )
thigolpbr replied to thigolpbr's topic in Everything Linkin Park
It will always be amazing to see a show from the Chester era as well. These are lasting memories, and this show is one of the band's historic shows. I sincerely hope the band releases it on DVD in the MTM20 box set or next year as a gift to the Lplive community, which will also be celebrating its 20th anniversary. -
@radqThanks for the archives. and it's always awesome when something old school comes along.
-
Looking at the screen in the photo, I can only imagine how many incredible shows the band has recorded. Will the band ever release a collection of these shows? 🫤
-
LPU became a joke. That's why I canceled.
-
One example is Metallica, which has its own record label and is very independent when it comes to releases.
-
I think we will only see new demos and shows with Chester in 2027 at MTM20.
-
I watched it at home. It's a mix of "How cool to see the band back!" and at the same time, without a doubt, the band's worst performance. But I also understand Emily's weight and nervousness, so I understand.
-
LPU was cool when they released songs.

My friends, we know that many people wish they could enjoy an exclusive LP show in a pre-recorded format, as the Pinkpop 2007 show occasionally appears. Based on the Pinkpop festival's initiative to create a channel and share shows recorded over the years, it would be interesting if other major events like Rock am Ring/Rock im Park, Download Festival, Reading Festival, Summer Sonic, etc., followed the same initiative as PinkPop and created a channel to share shows recorded over the years at the festival. This is a way to get historic shows not only for LP, but for other bands as well. Some examples I can think of right now: Rock Im Pack 2001 Rock Am Ring 2007 Reading Festival 2003 Download Festival 2004/2014 Summer Sonic 2006/2009/2013 I don't know if anyone from Lplive has contacted any of these events over the years to make this possible. @felipe probably did, lol. Anyway, my friends, as a community, could we reach out to these events and give them the idea that the Pinkpop festival had? What do you think?
-
It would be so if the person simply shared the track.
-
Well, if you're lucky, ask him about the demos and also about the idea of releasing a collection of his concert proshots 2000-2017
-
I imagine it must be like that lol.
-
I don't follow the discord much, but it would be great if someone could ask him about these demos and also if the band ever plans to create a collection to sell their old shows to fans. Could someone please ask Mike?
-
I had forgotten about this post of his 😕 Even so, we have more demos that could be made available/concerts, etc... I'm wondering about HT30th, how will the band celebrate it?
