  1. 1 more song and an additional verse lmao. One could argue they were late, but something tells me they're going to be late for the rest of the UK shows. Could have at the very least added POA and APMFH, do the IGD verse instead.
  2. [opinion]One More Light sucks.[/opinion]
  3. I like how Rob now comes in and does his thing in the APFMH extended intro.
  4. I'm very jelly of APFMH. Went to the Novarock show and got POA instead. They brought APFMH back the very next show! 8 shows over the years and I've only caught it once!
  5. Nope, Novarock had the standard extended intro for Invisible. Nothing RTN related, just some technical issues at the start of the song.
  6. Just got back from the show. Can confirm this. Joe's machine that he plays samples from died during the intro of Invisible. It seemed like the band wanted to play it off and continue but Mike cut the song and told the crowd to hold on. Said he doesn't want to give us a half assed version of this song and wants to give us the full thing. Thought that was pretty cool. There was a pretty obvious false start on some other song, cant remember which one. Crowd observation, the start of the set was SLOW. People looked like they have no idea whats going on until OSC started. It picked up a lot after that though.
  7. IMO New Divide is weaker. Not that it'll go away any time soon.
  8. ATTENTION ALL SFN LOVERS: We must unite and all vote for one song next round so SFN doesn't get eliminated! It doesn't matter how many votes SFN gets, we just need 1 more vote on another song to keep it alive! SFN must win!
  9. Please no.. Don't kill the last ounce of THP representation on this set.
  10. Invisible. Tomorrow we shall unite and purge Nobody can save me!
  11. I don't think there won't be any other sets with significant changes. They'll add Sharp Edges and possibly another song or two to the set, but there will simply be a headlining set and a festival set, with the festival set having a few less songs and a slightly different order. (Just like they've done thus far). I don't know, I'm very pessimistic about this kind of stuff.
  12. It baffles me why so many people say this. Maybe we're seeing different things, but a lot of negative reviews/responses I'm seeing mention nothing of HT, Meteora, Nu metal or 'GUITARZZ'. Most of the criticism I see is about how bland the album is, how the lyrics didn't live up to all the hype, chipmunks, repetitive sounds, claps, guest verses, etc. I get there's some shit posters, but it just seems that you can't give this album a horrible review without being labeled as one, or a HT/Meteora fanboy, no matter how constructive it is.
  13. Over hyped big time in my opinion.
  14. Meh. Nothing special but not horrible. In order of my preference: 1. OML 2. TTM ------------- Big gap ------------- 3. Invisible 4. GG 5. Heavy 6. BS
  15. Just listening to the full show now. Mike fucked up on the 2nd verse of Good Goodbye. Sang verse 1 again except for the 'over before it's begun' line. Chester fucked up on LITE a bit. Seems he forgot it's the shortened version but recovered pretty well.
  16. Feel bad for the people that got copies of multiple albums and spent their time sharing/promoting to get a better spot in line.
  17. I recall Joe was playing the 'synth breakdown samples' that were cut from the song during the 'Life Me up / Let me go' parts. Pretty audibly. Has this happened before?
  18. I absolutely agree with you guys. Out of all the people who dislike their latest material, due to the fact that the majority of those "haters" consists of HT/Meteora fanboys from Youtube and Facebook, with how many years have gone by with LP changing up their style, I can see why it's easy for LP to categorize all the negative feedback as "OMG YOU GAIZ SOUND SO DIFFERENT THIS ISN'T THE LP I FELL IN LOVE WITH". If a collective 100 people from LP fan sites give their constructive, honest opinion on why they dislike the new material and there are thousands every day who just bash them for changing, that's what they're going to take away from all of this. They've been experimenting and changing all the time with new sounds. Just that this time, in my opinion, the experiment did not work out. I'm sure it stings to find out that something you've put your heart and soul into, (especially if it's this personal) ends up getting a negative response. Just that they've been in this "if people bitch about our material it's because of the change not because our material sucks" phase for so so many years, it's hard to break away from it. I feel like this hurts the band and their creative potential because it's not them, it's the rest of the world. Also, the whole "Give the kids what they want man, there's your Hybrid Theory now shut the fuck up" in my opinion just shows how they categorize/handle the heat. If you don't like their new material, you basically have to critique it very softly saying it's just not your cup of tea. If you feel strongly about it and use the words like trash, terrible, etc, then you're automatically a HT/Meteora 12 year old fanboy that needs to grow up and realize that bands change. This is EXACTLY what I mean. A lot of the people who do enjoy OML (and more power to them) feel so strongly about it that anyone who dislikes it is a "butthut nu-metal fanboy". It's ridiculous. Same kinds of people that spout garbage like "if you're a TRUE fan of LP than you'll know they change and you will enjoy all of their sounds!" Why can't people who love the album express their love and the people who hate the album express the hate? Obviously be constructive and don't attack anyone, but it's stuff like this that keeps me away from other LP fansites or restricts me to lurking. In my opinion their new material is terrible, and I enjoy various artists in said "POP" genre. ATS is my favourite album too, followed by THP and MTM.
  19. I hate it. I hate it so much. Hearing Chester's clean vocal delivery is nice and refreshing, but that's about the only positive thing about this song in my opinion. Hate the instrumental, hate how this sounds like no one else in the band contributed to this, rather sounds like something Mike made screwing around with sounds. I could rant about how much it pisses me off with how they handled the THP promotion and now release this type of music, but I honestly just feel deflated and disappointed. Every other LP release asides from this and Heavy I WANTED to smash the replay button over and over. This includes The Catalyst, GATS, BID and even LGM. This just actually makes me cringe and I feel like I'm forcing myself to hit the replay button in hopes that it'll grow on me. But this..something about this uninspired style and the way the band approached marketing this album and not just being straight up honest with their intentions really killed my hype for the album. I'm just waiting for a song with Mike vocals to see if I enjoy that better but we'll see. I have a feeling "Sorry For Now" is going to sound very similar to this song instrumentation wise.
  20. After a few listens, I'm convinced this song would sound better with Kiiara just doing the whole thing. Verse 2 sounds better than verse 1. Chorus 2 sounds better than chorus 1. The "and I drive myself crazy" part she does better too. If I heard this song randomly without any knowledge or hype about it, I'd think it'a someone else's song featuring Chester.
  21. Like authentic hip-hop and rock 'Til pop and radio, and record companies killed me
