  1. Nick, it might be time for #ParamorePuns Part III soon... Time will tell with this, I guess. Won't be too long from now.
  2. This was shared yesterday HERE by a LPLive member. There's no doubt that it's real, but the point is that we don't know if it's "Charges Around", if that's even a title. It's a song from 2002, as Mike said in the clip. Keep up, guys.
  3. "This song must be 'Wires' because there are wires in this shot."
  4. I love how when new song titles leak, everyone's like "I think this is this in this because yes" without any actual evidence behind it. There's literally NOTHING to tell what the songs are - names aren't enough. We don't even know if they're real at this point.
  5. There is no Chali, there is only [Chali] which be default can't be vote for
  6. For FUCKS sake guys. Do you NOT have a sense of humor? Enth E Nd. If Chali or X-ecutioner Style lose I will forever hate you
  7. Linkin Park's European Tour is winding down! The tenth of sixteen shows this tour is happening in Paris, France, at the Bercy on November 16! This is the first time the band has performed in Paris since 2010, a show many of us remember, for a very special reason (we'll get into that later), and the ELEVENTH performance there spanning the band's career! The band's first performance in Paris dates back all the way back to January 2001 - the first show they played that year, AND the first show they ever performed in Europe. A second performance in Paris the next day saw the band's first TV appearance, with an old-school performance of 'One Step Closer'. The band returned again in March of that year supporting Deftones on their 'Back To School' Tour, performing songs such as 'Pushing Me Away' and 'Forgotten'. A great recording of this show exists - you can grab it in this thread. Definitely a great listen! Another awesome recording from 2001 is the band's last performance in Paris of that year - where they performed a bunch of older songs like 'Step Up' and 'My December', as well as Brad performing a guitar tease of Guns N' Roses' 'Sweet Child O' Mine'. The band didn't return until 2003, for the third show of the Meteora Touring Cycle. A bunch of rare Meteora tracks were played at the show, including 'Easier To Run' and 'Hit The Floor'. After a cancelled performance in the summer, a show was rescheduled for September, which featured a killer encore of 'A Place For My Head' and 'One Step Closer'! The band didn't return until 2007 to Paris until the Minutes To Midnight Tour, while Linkin Park finished off the Meteora Touring Cycle and Mike took Fort Minor on the road (FM was supposed to perform in Paris in 2005, but the show was cancelled due to riots creating unsafe conditions). The band performed at the Bercy for the first time with Thirty Seconds To Mars and Blindside, opening the show with 'One Step Closer' and performing new Minutes To Midnight songs, including 'Leave Out All The Rest' and 'The Little Things Give You Away'. The band returned the next year in 2008, performing even more MTM songs like 'In Between' and 'Valentine's Day', as well as the return of 'A Place For My Head'. The band returned in 2010 for the A Thousand Suns European Tour - one of the most memorable shows of the entire touring cycle. Why?, you may ask - the show happened a day after the 10-year anniversary of Hybrid Theory, prompting the band to perform 'A Place For My Head' in full and unrehearsed for the only time on the entire ATS Tour (it appeared partially during the extended bridge of 'Bleed It Out' later), and probably one of the best performances of the entire tour! Finally, the most recent performance occurred in Arras, 2011: one of two shows that the band dropped 'One Step Closer' from a full setlist for the first time ever. That's all led up to 2014, where the band will perform in Paris once again! This was the Paris 2010 performance of 'A Place For My Head', the only time on the entire A Thousand Suns Touring Cycle that it was performed in full. Despite it being unrehearsed, the band seemed to really enjoy performing it again! It's only been performed twice in 2014 - Download 2014 and Warped Tour. Do you want it to return to the setlists? The band performed it at the Amsterdam Summit rehearsal, so they could easily whip it out randomly if they wanted to! The band performed in Wien, Austria yesterday, performing Set A. The setlists have been showing signs of variation recently; nothing major, but very fine details the band could easily change up at any point! In Amsterdam, Mike rapped a verse from the Nick Catchdubs remix of 'Skin To Bone' from Recharged for the first time since West Palm Beach, Florida on the Carnivores Tour, and the first time he's rapped something different than 'Remember The Name' since Woodlands, Texas. Mike attempted to change up the intro of 'Until It's Gone' by rapping a verse of 'Forgotten' in Stuttgart, as requested by LPLive Member LilMike, but he couldn't find a way to make it work. In Leipzig, Mike and Chester sang part of the first verse of 'Waiting Room' by Fugazi for the first time ever before 'The Catalyst' Refrain during the extended bridge of 'Bleed It Out'. These little changes are keeping the setlists interesting! Of Mice & Men have been performing some great sets, as well! Their sets open with 'Public Service Announcement', 'Feels Like Forever', and 'Bones Exposed' - new songs off of their latest album, Restoring Force. The band included a song they haven't played yet in their set - 'Identity Disorder' from the new album too. New singles including 'Would You Still Be There' are also implemented into the set, as well as some new album cuts like 'Another You'. The band closes with 'The Depths' of 2012's The Flood and 'You're Not Alone'. The band will be joining the band again for their 2015 The Hunting Party North American Tour in January and February, along with Rise Against. Who's excited to see them live? Austin Carlile, the band's lead singer, has been appearing onstage with Linkin Park for 'Faint', and doing a great job! Who wants to see this collaboration more? Who's heading to the show? After this show, the band returns to Germany to the last three shows of nine in Germany, before concluding the tour with three shows in England. The show on November 19 in Berlin, Germany will be recorded for a Live DVD as well as a live webcast! After the European Tour, the band has two holiday festivals to perform at in December, then 2015's The Hunting Party North American Tour. There are a bunch of touring rumors circulating around, including Asia (India and China), South America, Europe, and North America - check them all out here. LPU XIV is expected to be released very soon - a 2002 demo from the CD was played for LPU M&G attendees in Wien, so we're bound to get a bunch of great demos! For updates on the show, check back here or follow us on Twitter! Check out the rest of Linkin Park's 2014 touring schedule here.
  8. Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but these titles are most likely fake.
  9. Enth E Nd If one of the interludes don't win I will be thoroughly disappointed.
  10. 1) Check out this thread. It hasn't been updated recently but it shouldn't be too hard to find the more recent ones in chronological order. http://lplive.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=9455&do=findComment&comment=181418 2) As martinez said, they've recorded everything but there hasn't been plans for a making-of.
  11. Because the setlists will be different lmao. Probably better, too.
  12. Notes: - No LPU XIV songs at M&G - RTN over Mike's Solo - Austin on Faint - Mike and Chester covered a song sing-a-long style before The Catalyst refrain of BIO. Can anyone find a video?
  13. Great RME performance. Hopefully I get to see it live one day! Mike seems really eager to change things up lately... RME Acapella, STB Verse in his medley, almost attempting Forgotten over the UIG Intro... Hopefully these things start happening more often on this tour, to keep the setlists original at each show. It's always the small things that make all the difference.
  14. This final quarter of 2014 has had a lot of great exclusives... excited to see what's coming up for Christmas/New Years
  15. Wow, a bunch of stuff already and were barely into the tour.
  16. "Let's boycott a festival because we don't get the time to play songs we'd probably shorten to the point there's no actual meaning in performing them in the show!" Come on, Mr. Whale. At least we'll probably get Rebellion w/ Daron again.
  17. What a fuckin lineup. Royal Blood, fuck yeah. I hope they play Better Strangers.
  18. NO ONE VOTE FOR THE INTERLUDES THEY MUST WIN. H! Vltg3
  19. The Reggae Version of BID is strictly a jam thing with the band lmao. I don't think a large crowd would enjoy it.
  20. Great performance of APFMH, Brad had no idea what he was doing with tempo/palm-muting in the intro lmao. Maybe his "excitement" means he actually want to play something? Mike didn't seem too into it either, though.
  21. Since they're not really doing the POA Jam Outro I don't think that's something that he would do. However, maybe over his Solo Medley. He's also been requested to do a Forgotten verse over the UIG Transition (he tried in Stuttgart but it kinda messed the whole thing up because he didn't really know how )
  22. Last time in full was 2008. He did the verse over Bleed It Out in 2013 and 2011. Earlier this year in Darien Center too, I think.
  23. I'm back with the preshow posts - let's make this one epic! Linkin Park is storming through their European Tour, crushing every show they play! On November 9th, the band will be performing in Oberhausen, Germany at the König-Pilsener-ARENA for the first time. This will be the third out of nine German shows booked for the tour! At the previous show in Amsterdam, Netherlands, the band held the 12th LPU Summit, at which LPU members with passes entered the venue early to go through a bunch of fun events with the band, including a signing session, a Q&A, and a soundcheck. While the soundcheck was shorter then previous ones (London 2010, Chicago 2011, Cape Town 2012, Auckland 2013, and Chep Lap Kok 2013), it was definitely eventful. To get it started, the band performed a reggae version of 'Burn It Down' featuring a faster tempo and a different beat. This was the second performance of the reggae version, the first coming at a KROQ Rehearsal in August 2013, so it is cool to see it appear again over a year later. The surprises didn't end there - the band performed a full run through of 'A Place For My Head' for fans as well! Given that the band will be performing nine shows in Germany this tour, fans are bound to attend multiple shows. Will 'A Place For My Head' be tossed into the mix at some point to keep the fans interested? LPU XIV is exclusively debuting in Berlin earlier in the day before it's global launch at the brand new Linkin Park Pop-up store. Be sure to keep your heads up for more LPU news as LPU XIV is sure to launch soon. The next summit is rumored to be held in Calgary, Canada in February. Let's talk about the actual show - one of the more interesting ones that have happened this year! The band performed a relatively standard version of Set A, with some fun changes spread throughout. First off, Mike changed up his medley for the first time since 2014.09.05 Woodlands, TX (where he rapped a verse of 'When They Come For Me') by rapping his verse from the Nick Catchdubs remix of 'Skin To Bone' from Recharged, the first time he's done that verse since 2014.08.09 West Palm Beach, FL. The fun didn't stop there - to end the main set, Austin Carlile from Of Mice & Men came out to perform 'Faint' with the band! This is the second time he's done so, the first time being earlier this year on the 2014.09.15 Los Angeles, CA date on the Carnivores Tour! Lastly, as far as changes go, Mike fulfilled a request by an LPLive member at the summit and rapped the old Xero song, 'Reading My Eyes' acapella style before 'Bleed It Out'! We can expect a bunch of these little changes in the set to keep happening: one that's rumored to happen is 'Forgotten' over the 'Until It's Gone' transition intro, as requested by LPLive member LilMike earlier in Stuttgart, where the intro ended up being messed up (presumably because Mike tried to think of a way to incorporate the verse off the top of his head!). Looks like he'd forgotten what to do! Sorry, I'll show myself out... Check out this performance of the 'Reading My Eyes' verse one into 'Bleed It Out'! This is the first time Mike has performed the verse of 'Reading My Eyes' in such a fashion (with it directly going into the start of Bleed It Out). Would you like to see it be done more frequently on this tour? Let's talk about the other band joining the band on this tour: Of Mice & Men! The band has been performing an eight song setlist before Linkin Park takes the stage, opening with new songs off of their latest release, Restoring Force, including 'Public Service Announcement', 'Feels Like Forever', 'Bones Exposed', and 'Would You Still Be There'. The band is performing a new song entitled 'Identity Disorder' from the new album for the first time ever. The band included a song from a past release, The Flood: 'The Depths' near the end of the set before closing out big with 'You're Not Alone'. Of Mice & Men will be joining the band on tour again in January and February for their Winter North American Tour, along with Rise Against. Who's excited to see them live?! After this show, the band continues on to Hamburg, then Leipzig. Given that the band is keeping a consistent rotation on this tour, we can expect Set B to be performed tonight. If you haven't been able to see Linkin Park on tour yet, don't worry - a bunch of tour rumors have started popping up, including shows in Asia (India and China included), Europe, and South America. Keep your eyes peeled on the site for news on LPU XIV (which is right around the corner!) and more Linkin Park news. For updates, check back here or follow us on Twitter!
