What a wonderful set man, no one can beat this, seriously.

The band, specially Mike believes that people come to the show to see them play their hits, they care A LOT about their average fans just look at their most recent set it's packed with singles where Chester was needed, there's no way that Mike can do that on his own, they need a powerful voice with a great range. I've seen your setlist and it's pretty awesome that would be really cool, tons of songs that people like us would love to hear. I don't know how average fans would react to that.

You are crazy a band like Linkin Park won't play 10 song sets. Mike struggles a lot when he tries to sing high like when he tried NRL he sounded awful.

BTW It would be cool to have a separate page/list with all the music tributes that Chester got.. it's kinda hard to look for them in 1000000000 of celebrities posts.

It was only a rumour. He kinda said that he's not looking for the chance, like trying to impress the band or something. It would be totally different if the band contacts him.

I don't think that he attacked them, actually he praised them for being unique... I found out about Chvrches cause it was in a Mike's spotify playlist and because of him I love them so much.

Linkin Park is a brand, one of the most important bands in the planet... most of the hits of LP's career are songs that Mike can't handle on his own. When he tries to sing high it's just a mess... you just have to remember the NRL live debut.. also there's no way that Mike can scream... screaming is one of the signature LP sounds . As much as you feel nostalgic, sad.. etc Mike is a very limited singer. Touring with guests would be the best option for me... that would be very interesting... make that happen and the guests won't feel the heat of the fan base.. what if someone actually does a great job and fans wants him to stay? 1) Alex has a cool voice I don't think that he can make it into the big leagues seems like he doesn't have the pipes to do that. they need someone with experience it would be way too risky to get a non professional singer. 2) I love Ryan's but his voice wouldn't mix well with LP.. seems like the guy that only sounds good in a special setting and with LP you have to be very versatile also.. I don't think that he can scream.

Jeff Gutt is available that's another point in his favor.. I don't think thst someone like Oly would leave his band.. Or belong to both bands wr all know what happened when Chester tried to do STP/LP

This is the best option so far... the way he sings Hallelujah and then you listen to his stuff with Dry Cell it's insane... very versatile Thanks for sharing this dude.. it gave me hope Back in the day I remember that in p2p programs there were tons of Dry Cell songs labeled as LP songs... this guy can do the job.. but hey all the things that Justin said are very true.. great post man. Let's be honest if LP continues there's no way that Mike can handle Chester's vocals... Mike is a great singer don't get me wrong but he is the opposite of Chester that's why they had the best chemistry in rock and roll.
