Pretty much everyone that we've been dying to work with we've been able to get together with on the Reanimation CD

    Nothing on Dedicated?

    There's one LPU chat (from 2009 I think) where Mike said he thinks he wrote 100% of Dedicated. That's all I could find.

    I guess I can find it again and add to the main post...

    He worked on one song. We tried a second one, but he got busy with something else, so I actually ended up doing the strings on my own. He did the strings on 'I'll Be Gone'. I've not met him in person though, I think he may have met our drummer Rob, those two were emailing back and forth. I really love what he did with the song and what he did with Arcade Fire is just sensational.


    Anybody knows what other song they wanted Owen to work on?

    If anybody is still interested in the Webster Hall Making Of MTM Version, I found this on the internet a few days ago. A lot of this commentary was stuff that used during that Making Of, and you'll notice that even some of this was on the Making Of MTM DVD. There is still a lot missing, like Chester and Dave talking about 21 Stitches, Mike playing us the party during BIO, Mike showing us the band members vocals for HHH, but this is still cool.

    Somebody spoke to her – I think our manager spoke at one point. The door, I think, is still open, but we haven't done anything yet. I would love to. I think that she's a very interesting musician. She's very original. And one of the beauties to Reanimation [Linkin Park's 2002 remix release with featured guests] was the ability to meet with other artists and work in the studio and learn how they work, because everybody teaches themselves to write songs in different ways.

    And I realized that Björk is probably – is definitely – somebody that has a very interesting way of putting together a song, just in speaking with people that have worked with her. "Spike" Stent, who mixed Reanimation, works with her all the time and he was telling me a little bit about what it's like to be in the studio with her. I think it would be a fun thing to do and there are other people that I would like to work with as well. She's not the only one. But we'll see what happens. It remains to be seen.

    MALL to be released on October 17

    The interesting thing here is that when I watched the movie, the songs in the movie sounded much different than what LPA has posted. They were the same exact songs, but the pitch was very different and it was odd. You can even hear it in some of the clips that were released from MALL, they sound different than the LPA posted songs. I wonder if this is even legit or if someone just made polished it up to make it sound like an official release, someone could do a copy and paste job and get rid of that minimal dialogue at the end of the song.

    I read somewhere the songs LPA posted were sped up a little.
