What I am wondering is if the LPU will do like last year and after a few months after it's release, they will allow the LPUX CD to be downloaded on the website. Anyone know the answer to that question? Adam?

That is saying a lot. "Closer to the Edge" is one of the best music videos I have ever seen. It would take a lot to beat it.

Finally heard the song. Very cool song, very mellow, 2x better than Blackbirds and 20x better than Not Alone. Can't wait to see what LP, LPUX, and ATS have in store for us, and this is a good sign.

Agreed. I am hoping for a absolute amazing CD with at least 2 b-sides or demos. Or even possibly a HT Era Concert DVD in good quality. Then for the fan interaction, LPU M&G with the entire band again, but it needs to be like the sit-down and talk M&G like we have now. More LPU chats (maybe once a month?) and LPU Video chats with the whole band. Also, a shirt that will blow my mind would be nice (will the LPUX even have a shirt?). AND A FRICKEN' LPU ONLY TOUR!!!!

Mark, I know spraypaintinkpens is a douche, but that is harsh. Yes, LPU9 and LPU6 were amazing. But LPU7 and LPU8 sucked ass. 2/4 times I have been burned on the package. This time, I wait the see the goods before I dish out the cash. You are right, you're paying $60 for a digital download of a bunch of songs we already have and one demo that we don't. You are also paying for one year of the same LPU service we all paid $30 for last year. And until the LPU confirms something new, that is all you're getting. I would also call it being IGNORANT when you throw around your cash without knowing what you're paying for. I'm not bashing the LPUX, I just wanna know what I'm getting into before I spend that much money.

That is a really expensive package. The Metallica Fan Club has a better package and it is cheaper! I am really uncertain about dropping $60 for something I have paid $30 for in the past. I need to see something that will want me to come back to the LPU before I can drop $60 on it. As for getting concert tickets early, I'll just buy a $10 1-month online pass for when the tickets go on sale. A $10 fee to get tickets early and have one month of LPU online chats and access is justifiable. And sorry Mark, but I'll be waiting for this one to leak. One new song (demo) isn't enough for $60. And I gotta start saving cash for my baby!!! EDIT: Saw a few people calling "Pretend To Be" an MTM B-Side. Just so it is clear, "Pretend To Be" would be considered an ATS B-Side seeing how it was made in 2008 and MTM released in 2007.

After reading through 8 pages of complaining, everyone just needs to calm down and wait. The album will be out in less than a month and then everyone can give their review on ATS. This is Ana's view on ATS and she likes it. She has already said that it WAS NOT Auto-Tune and was vocal effects (less than what was used on The Catalyst). If the album ends up sounding like 30STM, Muse, Innerpartysystem, and Pendulum like Ana said, then this will really be a change for LP. The good thing is that I like most of those bands anyways. I wouldn't worry people.
