That's absolutely not how it works, sadly. The stuff we came across over the years was more a matter of luck and negotiation, with people who happened to have something.
It's more like that we stumble upon things that we are not looking for. Finding something particular is almost impossible in this case. The few people that would have access to this kind of stuff, don't just share it, risking their jobs.

Thanks, we got your email, still sorting through.

The one I have is 96kbps. He recorded it at 256kbps and encoded it at 192kbps. Surely there is a quality upgrade. Can someone ask him?
That doesn't make any sense unless the original is in stereo.

I assume you mean the bootleg posters with the misspelled venue name? lmao
-
lol if that was the case only a small fraction of those 1000 people going would actually vote. I dont care as long as High Voltage wins.
Chester should join in as secret guest that would be epic.

Since they pretty much blew a perfect opportunity to do something cool at SSMF two years ago, I'm not getting my hopes up for this one.
If they celebrate it in some form it should be something for everyone, not just for some lucky people living in the LA area.
Taking the chat as a credible source, this turned out to be false:
- Not all of the European shows have been announced yet for August and September. More shows will be announced soon.
- An LPU Summit is going to happen in Europe -
I also don't understand why he gets banned every time he has a new incarnation.
When you are already banned it is not allowed to just create new accounts to circumvent your ban, it's as easy as that.
This is definitely not a thread to doing this
First and last warning
I agreed with staying on topic but please leave it to the staff/mods to issue warnings.
So there are currently 2 websites following the same idea, is that right? If so instead of doing so you should join forces, no matter who had the idea first, everything else is pointless.

The LPU11 version has a proper bass line, the one in Untitled is pretty dull. Different drums too.
-
The Forgotten demo is identical with the one we already had, the POA demo was new with a slight difference, In The End was quite different.
-
The seating areas are in dangerous shape and the public transportation in the area can't handle the masses, people were crossing the train tracks etc.

Ah, I must have misunderstood, I thought like it was an Olympic stadium for the racing or something.
It is a stadium (it's also in the name), but more in the classical sense, not a football/soccer stadium. Stadium has a very broad definition, it can be anything from a flat field to a massive complex, as long as there's sports happening. We kind of had this discussion before somewhere with Stadium vs. Arena.
By the way the Munich venue from 2008 was banned from holding concerts since 2012 because the location is not secure enough.

I only listened to parts of the audio so far, what ruins it for me is the reverb that seems to get worse throughout the show. Listen to Final Masquerade for example, that could easily be from a better audience recording.

China is UTC +8:00, pretty much half a day ahead of the US. It's Fri 04:34 am right now, China has just one time zone though.

They'll never do 120 minutes sets, the only way they can even do 100 minutes sets now is with all those interludes. More harder songs and longer sets are simply not possible for them.
LP will never be one of those bands that plays 2 hours + sets, that's a fact you should accept and that will never change. Many many bands don't play 2 hours sets either. LP has enough songs for that since 2003.
I personally think 100 minutes is more than enough. For all those years I've been seeing LP live there are always people complaining that not even 90 minutes is enough and some feel to be ripped off by such a short show lol.
-
Well it's a press conference not a fan conference lol.

Adding a reminder for the new Grey Daze songs "The Endless Highway" and "How Would You Be" (incomplete).
Also some other songs that only exist as live versions such as:
Painted (the Thunder & Lighting version is incomplete I think, Rally Kaps should have the full song)
Circle
Everybody's Falling To Pieces
Piece Of My Mind
Not sure if that's everything,
-
He did that for Summer Sonic 06 and Mike said he'll never do that again lol
-
Not yet at least, there's still plenty of time. I'm sure there will be M&G's.
-
what makes you think it has anything to do with pictureboard? No one here heard the song
-
Nobody has Pictureboard except the band, please move on.

We found the missing show: 2001.11.07 Houston, TX
it's a canceled show anyway.

Can someone check if these numbers match the number of shows listed on the year pages?
2015 452014 672013 182012 592011 612010 352009 192008 852007 912006 5
2005 22004 832003 1022002 23
2001 1842000 and Earlier 110 -
I guess something like 950 shows total in their career seems like a good estimate by the end of the year.
And roughly 880 shows as LP by the end of the year.

We were extremely lucky with Docklands, Camden was pure coincidence too that some guy recorded this. You might be right that it's a matter of time but the time is also not on our side. The more time passes the lower are our chances are to ever get these. PR 2002 was over 13 years ago.
What makes it even harder with Summer Sonic is that the show happened in Japan and the existing language barrier. It took us 3 years! to get the QWERTY video that aired on television. Some person having the full show MAYBE makes it extremely hard to find.
PR2002 happened so long ago it makes it very hard to track down unreleased audience recordings after all this time, everything that we have today came out shorty afterwards. There was only ever 1 confirmed audience video, which remains unreleased and might be lost forever. The only other chance appears to be that the band apparently filmed one of the shows for some sort of release that never happened. And I think we all know how hard that stuff is to come by. Docklands and Roxy used to be in the same category, but were major coincidences where we had only one chance to ever getting these.
