Very random, and again so much for no older shows they cant release as DSPs... I wonder if that track is a mistake, since all the bonus cd versions always had the high voltage studio version together with high voltage. High voltage from london is way better than this. Also it is not labeled as a live track. Maybe they picked the wrong version? Just an idea
-
Awful change if you ask me, sounds like an 80's song now.
-
Maybe Amazon uses the wrong sample, the studio collection in itunes also has the changed SOTD
-
See that's why we need to do a Live in Texas page someday to cover all this info ^^

Faint (Circuit City) - Unknown Performance
-
So High Voltage is definitely NOT from London. I hope we can figure it out.
-
Yes it's from London, the mixing seems different too.
-
The random slowmo scenes are really annoying. I didn't really get it back then. I always thought they are from the song but they are indeed random.
-
I bought the track, it really does sound different. And please stop with the youtube stuff.

Wikipedia says: The video footage is made up of the audio from the Dallas show and video from both the Houston and Dallas shows; because of this the band had to wear the same clothes on two shows, although there are still noticeable differences. For example, it can be seen that Mike Shinoda wears two similar but different shirts, Brad Delson's guitar sometimes changes multiple times in the middle of songs from a red PRS to a black Ibanez, despite there being no break in the guitar, as well as lead singer Chester Bennington's shirt soaked with sweat, and it being completely dry the next time he is shown on screen. The video changes from one show to the other, they are bascially cut in half. I think the change happens after Figure.09. They should release it on Bluray someday. The DVD release is quite bad for a DVD and far away from state of the art back then. It's not anamorphic and no extras. Also some of the shots were not filmed in high definition so some parts wouldn't look that great on bluray and it would be much more noticable than on dvd. There's the Live in Texas TV special where the band mentions they original wanted to include some sort of movie along with the show but they spent to much time on mixing the audio... Using two shows is one thing but trying to "trick" people into believing it's one performance is kinda awkward to me. Imo it's actually kinda gross they wear the same clothes again on purpose (even though I know they've been able to wash them, lol)

Cool, you can even buy the songs without the album.
-
Apart from the high price in the US itunes/amazon store. You get 6 albums for the price of one. How is that a bad thing? There's no bonus stuff but it says Studio Collection and not super duper mega hardcore fan special bonus edition. There also goes the whole Warner thing again. Why should the band not be involved something like this? It's so funny that everything that seems "bad" is of course done by Warner only and the band has absolutely nothing to do with this. It's a collection for a good price, deal with it.
-
$30 is actually a good price, yes no. Amazon shows me $50 for some reason. But it could have been way worse if they attempted an actual Best Of album. Just like Astat already said the give the fans absolutely no reason to buy the albums again.

Early April 1st.

I think you should add more info to this. Like how and where they were released for example: Somewhere I Belong is from MTV Making The Video. Shadow Of The Day can be bought through iTunes Breaking The Habit was released on DVD Some are from LPTV and so on.

Oscars are not irrelevant. Win the oscar for best actor/actress and you get a massive career boost. Sadly you can only win it for a drama performance. Comedy can be has hard as drama sometimes and is hardly recognized by the academy. Also a lot of great movies never even got a nomination, like Pulp Fiction for example. You know what the academy is all about when a crap movie like Titanic gets tons of awards.

Date seems right http://www.mtv.com/photos/fort-minor-perfo...o.jhtml#1915699 "Fight Minor" LOL http://www.lptimes.com/fm/fmvideo.html What's MTV Overdrive?

I totally agree, the whole oscars ceremony is EXTREMELY boring. It's like 4 hours long and commercial breaks every 5 minutes.
-
Side stage view is not new
-
I wanted to say almost the same. Glad they explained it in this episode.
-
For course is A-Six a demo, A.06 is not a demo, maybe you mixed that up.
-
I rather have it like it is now instead of throwing out all the good songs at once and going back to sucky LPU CD's like 3.0 or 5.0. That keeps it interesting. Don't forget that they also changed it from 6 tracks to 10 tracks which is almost as much as 2 CD's and they release one every year. They release albums every few years so of course they do that to not run out of good material. They did CD full of b-sides/non album tracks with Songs From The Underground, which was "just" a "best of" compilation
