Yes from the Minutes to Midnight Tour Edition

That you can look up some info about the venue, what it looks like, the capacity etc. It's not just amphitheaters, other places like stadiums and arenas are dealing with constant names changes too. Most of them have a real websites but even that address will cease to redirect or go invalid at some point. It's not possible anyway to have all the links 100% working. I'd say either leave them and only put wikipedia links for closed etc. venues

You need at least the online membership to win a M&G, unless you bought one of those premium packages that includes one.

What exactly do you mean by low, the volume or the way it sounds?

LP Live In Texas 2003 - The Best Show Ever?
[AndOne] replied to sasa95's topic in Everything Linkin Park
What really bugs me about LiT now are those random slowmos that are sometimes from completely different songs. That it's made from 2 shows really ruins it for me know especially the fact that they tried so hard to make it 1 show. It's a great performance no doubt about it but i think we learned by now that shows like LA from the same tour were even better. I think what makes it so studio like sounding is the lack of atmosphere in the mix, which is because of the shitty acoustics of the stadiums I assume. When they talk there's tons of reverb, which they clearly killed in the mix during the songs. It's crazy how loud the guitars are, whoever mixed it really turned it up to 11. It sucks that we'll probably never get the show in HD. sadly some of the footage wasn't even shot in HD. We could definitely need an upgrade for the DVD which was pretty bad for even back then. It's not even anamorphic, just letterboxed. -
Recently the LPU sent out the confirmation emails that you won, shortly after the deadline for entering in the M&G. So you don't learn about having a M&G only a few days before the show, but you won't get further details about the meeting area and time until the day before or day of the show. That is usually not a big problem for area shows though. Depending on the show, if you have GA, you should try to get a wristband for the front section if that's possible. It really depends on the show and venue where they drop you off.

I could see them add another show at the o2 in London IF the show sells very well.

Oh interesting, all this time I thought the 1997 SOAD recording was the November one. That makes the whole (thin) chain of evidence for the Xero recording even thinner.
-
I almost completely forgot by now that they did a video for UIG. Why was this making of so delayed?

rav0k has Xero 97! everyone please PM him about it

I don't know what exactly happened with their old management, all I remember is that the government froze their assets or something like that and that prevented them from touring Europe in 2008 etc. and in the end delayed the release of the DTA album too. They seem to be happy with this independent situation, cause it took them a while to get free from this messy situation. Daniel is a great guy and manager. I think they said they were/are waiting for a good opportunity to do a bigger US tour as a support band but apparently that didn't work out yet. -
There is no first hand evidence. The only evidence there is, is that there's a recording of the SOAD set from this show and that this tape was sold. There's no screenshot or sample that proves it 100%. Maybe someone from the band/management obtained the tape to keep it unreleased, you never know, at least that would be an explanation why it never surfaced again.

lol of course he's still friends with them, who knows why he couldn't make it to the show, there's probably a billion possible reasons. He's in 2 bands right now plus has a big family. I'm pretty sure he would have gone if he could, don't forget that helped produce the album. -
