Blurays have region codes too. North America and Europe don't share the same code. You might not be able to play it, if the region in your player can be changed it's usually limited to a certain number of times it can be done. No idea if such things as region free Bluray players exist like they do for DVD Players. There are ways to get around it if you play Blurays on your computer. I'd not recommend it unless you are sure you'll be able to play it. Thanks LGraham for bringing that up, totally forgot about the region codes.

According to Amazon.fr the French DVD and Bluray has an English audio track. The music we got is from from the google play version which only had french dub apparently.

I think we would know. Maybe a few things here and there but not a full album and recently he had no time to do this. His last project was Raid which was mostly instrumental. They usually save this stuff for the LPU but some sort of best of like "songs from the underground" is not impossible either, there will be another one sooner or later.

I think it's either these two things: - Mall soundtrack, we know that this exists and we know they probably release it. But it would be strange to release it before the movie but then again we have no exact date for that either. I think it could be easily just a digital only release, remember that the Raid soundtrack was like that too which changed later on though due to enough demand. I'd say it will hugely depend on if they market it as Linkin Park or not, which it technically isn't. - HT live @ Download or something very similar to that, maybe even the full show. Video is not very likely since they usually take a lot more time to release that. I can see them selling the HT live thing over iTunes etc. as digital only release. The preview cover looked very similar to the "around the world" covers and they sold those over iTunes too. They used it to push THP presales but why shouldnt they sell it to the general public later on? They know that a lot of people want this. I wonder how much they fix about the performance and if they do it's probably something from the rehearsals. Some bonus performance stuff from the HT rehearsals would be nice but I doubt it. Some posts had some interesting ideas but I'm pretty sure it's not one of these things: - Fort Minor, come on seriously? When did Mike even record this, all the old FM stuff was released, the b-sides and most of the instrumentals and the stuff he worked on shortly after that, that turned into something different. - Remix album + similar, they just did something like that. I know some releases are debatable but they try not to repeat themselves especially not in this short amount of time. - THP live: again, when did they even record this when we know they havent even played all the songs live yet. - Hunting Party B-sides: If there are some b-sides, which we don't really know at this point it's very unlikely they'll release any of it with the upcoming LPU CD. That might change depending on how much material they have total left but usually they release this at least a year later or so.

You really need to learn to use punctuation. I don't have any personal experience with early entry but I guess it depends on how many lpu members will be there waiting in line. Never underestimate the crazyness of European fans, I'm sure some people even show up super early for early entry. Just look at the M&G entry numbers for your show and it will easy this many LPUers at your show if not more that will probably makes use of the EE. The lounge thing is completely new, you have to wait for more info before and during the Carnivores tour how this actually works.

not an opinion, it's a fact. Every time compression is applied you lose quality, that's normal. Youtube's main purpose is still videos and not high quality sound, otherwise it would be way too easy to just download the music from there in the best quality. Youtube doesn't use the maximum possible quality for AAC audio to keep it good enough but not perfect. My point is, if you want to compare uncompressed to compressed it has to be fair. Compare wave/flac with mp3 from the same source (CD etc.). The leak I had sounded like garbage too, it was in 192 kbit/s and still sounded pretty bad for this bitrate. Often lower quality stuff just gets converted to 320 that more people download it.

You can't really compare a leak to the CD you bought later. You need to rip your CD and compare that directly. For Youtube it depends massively in what quality you "watch" it, there's a huge difference between 720p and below. Even official youtube videos have screwed up sound sometimes, the Rebellion lyrics video for example. That's just like the commercials for HDTV on SDTV xD

Brickwalling sound is compression too but not data compression, they completely ignore that.

That's some CSI technology right there haha. You can't restore what's lost/was never there. Maybe they use something that fakes it that you get the impression, similar to SRS and all that crap claims to make it sound better. This reminds me of those fancy gold conductor cables or high speed HDMI cables, whatever you need those for. I have to say the "bobbing heads" test is seriously the funniest thing in the entire documentary.

The Hunting Party was launched on Facebook. What the hell does that even mean? I don't see how Mike is releasing some secret Fort Minor album all the sudden, when did he even record this? They only thing really unreleased at this point is the Mall stuff.
