Hell no. Alice In Chains. Check My Brain is the song of the fucking year...I love it. Completely addicted. CALIFORRRRRNIA FIGHT; SOMEBODY CHECK MY BRAIN \m/ Awesome, awesome song.
-
Already happened to me when CliqueID merged, lol. However, thank god I didn't care too much about it. Adam offered to handle it but it's not a big deal.

Yeah this filled in a big gap for me as well. I now understand what the heck is going on with the whole thing. For the record...you know how in our Chester interview LPA asked 4 things and we asked 3? I guess you can take a wild guess at what the other thing we asked about was....

Yeah but what about LP.com posts? This seems like taking a huge mess and trying to fix it, but it could possibly mess it up worse, correct?

It seems some new information has surfaced on the mysterious Level 7 project. Amir and Ryan posted the following article on their Twitter, but Amir took the time to post it on the Julien-K forums here. Amir: "PLEASE READ THIS FORBES ARTICLE and hopefully some of you will understand what BS has been going on with my good friend and business partner Dr Henry Nicholas III (Nick). This is why our music company Level 7 that we were building to help and nurture artists (and the music industry) got destroyed by the US government. Article here." If you don't understand, Julien-K forum member 'loeak' has posted an explanation here. We finally know the reason Julien-K canceled their 2008 European Tour and a few other things. If you recall, Ryan actually posted about this earlier year...we covered it on LPL here. Someone from Level 7 even registered on LPLive and replied to 2 posts...you can read those posts here. Ryan replied in the thread here - take the time to read that reply. LESTAT has posted other articles on Level 7 and Dr Nicholas here. It seems quite a few people can't talk about it (including Chester....) - very interesting. Quite a bit of information here but if you take the time to read it all, you'll understand what exactly has been going down with Level 7, Julien-K and Chester for the past few years. What a mess.

Maybe it works for US/Canada only people?

Works perfectly for me.

Personally other than She Couldn't, my favorite LPL exclusive was State Of The Art...what a badass track. Listening to it now...it's pretty solid.

I think Holly Brook has an incredible voice for a female singer and I am a really big fan of her first album. She is currently in Oregon working on her second album and she has posted a new song online entitled "Winter In Me" for us to check out. From HollyBrookMusic.com: "Performed by Holly Brook, written by Katie Waldren, for an NBC Christmas special last year, this song is now available for purchase/download at hollybrook.bandcamp.com" It's a slow, piano song, but it really brings out a nice vocal performance in my opinion. If you're a fan, check it out...if not, no problem - just thought I'd bring it up for any Holly fans out there. I know she had troubles with Machine Shop / Warner in the past so here's to her new album; I wish her good luck with the next album and her future endeavors. I'll occasionally post about her here if something big pops up sometime. Enjoy!

Thanks for the encouraging words. Things like this give me the enthusiasm to go on with LPL and keep obtaining cool shit for you guys. Can't wait for the new album and touring cycle. Without people like you, we'd be nothing. Seriously - thanks. The fans are the fuel behind this site. I have a feeling you'll like that exclusive we've been working on as well. She Couldn't was badass. I'm pretty pumped for QWERTY, but that other big show is going to be...groundbreaking. Not trying to hype it TOO much because I'm sure some people will think it's stupid (some people hated Mountain View 2004, etc)...BUT I think it's awesome.

Brad and Brandon happen to share a birthday, so Happy Birthday to the both of them! Brandon is what... 23 or so? Young kid!
-
Main gem for me is the exclusive. I haven't even seen it yet...when I do I think I'll cry.

So... some small updates on everything: - Progress on QWERTY (Live in Japan) proshot video has been made....stay tuned for updates on that. It seems like we'll get it around New Years or shortly after. We've found multiple people that have it, so we're exploring those paths now. - That big exclusive? I THINK we might have that next week. Perhaps we can coordinate an LPL 4.0 release with it. Hmm? Progress has been made on that thankfully. You'll flip if you find out what it is.... - LPLive 4.0 is coming along nicely. Release date keeps being pushed back but that's not because we're lazy, that's due to us adding more and more stuff. Right now exactly what I'm doing at this stage is working on the show pages. There has been a total revamp of the site design (it looks super sexy now), the show pages and year pages have totally been redone as well. There's lots of cool new pages - even stuff for really picky people, like a page that lists all the show intros and such. I think you'll all be really happy with it - I've been blown away a few times by the things we've done on it, so it's looking to be a great upgrade to what we have now. - Lastly, thanks again to Adam who managed to get the Pomona, CA DSP pictures for us yesterday. I only saw about 10 comments in the thread and I know if that was YOUR show (as a few of you went), you'd be pretty happy about it...so give it up for him again. LPU 9 is in two days; that means we get 'Morning After' acoustic as the exclusive download. I wonder if it differs from the 2001 version a lot? I also wonder what the vinyl will look like. Questions, questions.

Hell Felipe I'll just buy that set of videos on DVD from the Japanese site...I'll split it with Nick. If anyone else would like to join in and help split it, you're more than welcome to.

I can help out here with the money...I'd love to have it.

I actually think the FF album was better than MTM. I am a big Dave Grohl fan....

From LPTimes.com: Linkin Park are among the presenters at the Grammy nominations live concert which takes place live on Wednesday, Dec. 2, at Club NOKIA in Los Angeles. The show will be broadcast on CBS from 9 – 10 p.m. ET/PT. Nominations for the Grammys will be announced that night and a complete list will be available at Grammy.com at 7 pm. The 52nd Annual Grammy Awards will be broadcast live from STAPLES Center in Los Angeles on Sunday, Jan. 31, 2010 on CBS at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

Yeah, that makes sense. However, this one piece of info might contradict that. http://ethanmates.com/News.html Ethan = guy from MTM DVD (engineer on MTM) March/April 2007: "Mixed bonus tracks and b-sides for Linkin Park’s “Minutes to Midnight” upcoming release at Larrabee North, Los Angeles." I would think Across The Line was in that batch? Other cool shit: Dec 2008-Present: "Recording new album with Linkin Park (Warner Bros) in Los Angeles." March-April 2009: "Ongoing tracking with Linkin Park in Los Angeles" May 2009: "Recorded and co-mixed “New Divide”, new Linkin Park single for Transformers II soundtrack in Los Angeles." September 2009: "Resumed recording new Linkin Park album in Los Angeles." Well damn, it seems LP really has been working since last December on the album. Awesome news if you can call it that, lol.

Earlier today, I posted about the Pomona DSP pictures that were missing. Adam replied and said "I'll see if I can find out anything about this for you guys. This was something completely outside of LPU so I can't really do anything but ask some people about it. I'll let you know what I find out." Within an hour, I received 4 emails all sent within 5 minutes of each other. Low and behold, I got a reply to every single email I sent with the attached Pomona DSP pictures. Hell yeah! "Dear Customer, The Pomona show is not available for download due to technical difficulties, and we are truly sorry for this inconvenience. The attachments are the photos from the concert. Please use the code you’ve received to download any other Linkin Park concerts. Once again, we apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you, Support" So...presenting the Pomona DSP pictures! Download them all here. Just right click and save each of them. Enjoy! Adam is awesome. Agree? Give it up for someone going completely out of their way to help with something. Thanks!

Highly doubt LP would drop 1-2 songs from a show release just because they can, lol. Reading My Eyes and QWERTY were on LPU 6 - I see no problem in releasing them again.

"Due to unfortunate technical difficulties, the Pomona, CA August 22, 2009 show will not be available for download. You can use your code to download ANY other show from the tour by clicking on "view set list" for the show of your choice. We DO have exclusive photographs from this show available, please email downloadsupport@linkinpark.com to receive them." After 4 emails with no replies and over 3 months after the show, I think we should close the case and move on...I don't think we'll ever get the Pomona pictures from the DSP. Here's to hoping LP changes download support for the future DSP's so we can actually get what's advertised? Sorry to those of you who wanted them...I just don't think they'll ever come.

Runaway from Bamboozle would rock. I bet when Rob said they'd release all they had that the early 2007 shows are included in that. Australia 07, Europe 08, etc...that'd be badass. Big question on those is also Wantagh 07. Hmm. If moving to iTunes means better support, that'd be great. Basecamp or whoever the hell runs it now is doing a TERRIBLE job. Still no Pomona pictures.
