  1. You can ignore the post if you don't like Julien-K.
  2. Hell yeah baby! New Julien-K album in 2010? I sure hope so
  3. I recommend you talk to Adam about it. PM him here or send a tweet to the LPU twitter. He is very accommodating and can help you out.
  4. A new LPTV episode from SURU with Mike and Joe signing at the "MSDCxSURU" event has been posted. I usually just use Mike's blog (at the bottom) to view the episodes the easiest. Pretty funny LPTV for a change! Good to see LPTV stuff making its way back after Dead By Sunrise dominated for a while.
  5. Holy shit yeah it is. AWESOME. Added. Thanks!!!
  6. Rapidshare is preferred since I have a premium account
  7. Holy shit that's the best LPL banner yet. AWESOME and very creative. I love it. Sweet job, thanks!
  8. Yes there is, the Devore show I believe?
  9. Yeah I believe it'll be ok to upload the older LPU videos that are no longer available, but the ones that are still on the site we can't post. I removed the links to those in your post. I might've taken 1 extra out or maybe missed 1 because I actually am not 100% sure on what the LPU video player is showing these days, lol. I apologize if I messed anything up. liss if you could upload that list of stuff you said you had, that'd be great. Those were the main videos I was talking about actually

  11. Added 47 new banners to the site today. The update contains the DSP picture banners from 2009, a few random shots, and the submitted ones from this thread 342 total banners right now.
  12. Rob is still a bit blurry but I used all of them except 2...the banners look great. Thanks!
  13. There's all kind of stuff that's lost I think. The Reanimation player intro mp3 (I have that somewhere, some cool technological intro sound to the player)...some video clips from the Reanimation player. The Reanimation player even had like an instrumental beat thing according to Astat.
  14. First they'll play KIOZ-FM's When Bands Attack festival in Chula Vista, California, on Friday with Staind, Godsmack and others. They will be donating their profits from the show to the Red Cross and have asked their record label and local businesses to match them. 28.09.2001 Chula Vista, CA, Coors Amphitheatre, Rock 105.3's 'When Bands Attack' http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1449281/2...nkin_park.jhtml How the hell did we not know about this show until 2009, lol?
  15. Yeah that'd be great man, thanks The stuff is nowhere to be found online as far as I know so there shouldn't be a problem linking it in this thread.
  16. http://lptimes.com/article/Blender_0302.html Bennington’s attempts to set up his Pro Tools unit are hampered by the fact that he ignores the manual and has just sucked down a fat doobie. “If I don’t have pot on the road, I will f*cking kill somebody,” he explains. Linkin Park’s only recreational drug user, Bennington’s need for weed is mild compared to the narcotic meltdown of his youth. “I was on, like, 11 hits of acid a day. I dropped so much acid I’m surprised I can still speak! I’d smoke a bunch of crack, do a bit of meth and just sit there and freak out. Then I’d smoke opium to come down.” His arrest for marijuana possession when he was 18 wasn’t the only sign that he needed to get a grip. “I weighed 110 pounds,” he says. “My mom said I looked like I stepped out of Auschwitz. So I used pot to get off drugs. Every time I’d get a craving, I’d smoke my pot.” ------------ “I was an athletic kid, but I just stopped caring about it and I stopped doing well in school. I started smoking weed and going to parties. I think I was 11 when I started smoking pot.” Chester Bennington A product of a broken home, Chester, nicknamed Chaz, became involved with cocaine and methamphetamine as a teenager, but later emerged as a drug use critic after being able to overcome his addictions. http://www.superiorpics.com/chester_bennington/ Thoughts? Chester was on pot from 2001 until 2007 at the latest. Alcohol and drugs seem to be very rampant in his life.
  17. http://web.archive.org/web/20060205061408/...ohn-legend.html "Remember the Name" will be the first single the project releases. "It's a song that sums up where we're coming from with the album and the project," Shinoda explained. "So if you were to look for the record out there on the Internet, look for that [song] first." Does that mean Shinoda is supportive enough of Internet downloading to say where tracks might appear? "You're gonna have to be creative," he smiled. "I'm not going to tell people where to look." So do you believe Mike personally leaked Remember The Name to an LP fansite in 2005? Or instructed a fellow co-worker to do it? In my opinion...hell yes. The guy is pretty fucking creative. Every day I read something new about Mike that makes me like the guy even more.
  18. I'm looking to expand my collection and possibly offer a lot of this for download on LPLive.... While talking to Astat tonight, I remembered how LP.com used to have all of the LP Newscaster episodes up to view. Does anyone still have all of those episodes? And also I remember there used to be random other clips as well, like a clip from 2004 of the From The Inside book signing at LA's "The Grove". Remember, it had Mike/Chester talking about Betty Ford's sex book? And then there was a clip of like Mike and Joe backstage playing Halo at a show. Does anyone have any older clips like these? I'd surely hate to lose these in time...there were some golden moments in those videos! I wonder if the LPU has them archived somewhere?
  19. First one is great. Second one - Joe is too pixelated and in the third Rob is too pixelated. Maybe fix those 2 things and I can add those 2 as well. I'll use the first one though. Nice job
  20. Might be pushing this back to LPL 4.0.
  21. I need to add: Reading 03 had I think Crawling on the BTH single. Reading 03 needs to be released, holy hell - talk about fucking INCREDIBLE.
  22. Oh hell yeah how Chester said we'd get the bonus tracks and yet we never got any information on them. Total confusion. We still don't have 20 Eyes. I guess 2 acoustic songs are all we're gonna get.
  23. This is a thread to discuss problems you had with any aspect of the Dead By Sunrise project. I'll list a few of mine to start off. - No DVD with the album. After Mark Fiore followed DBS around for years and filmed all that footage, we didn't get a DVD? Interesting. - Jewel case album. Really? Even Fort Minor (4 years ago) had the big centerfold album piece...it was a nice additions. It got more art in, more info, etc. Jewel is destroyed very easily IMO. - No lyrics in the booklet. Fail. - Horrible promotion. I almost forgot the release date, lol. - No website. I think the reason above is a direct result of this. How do you not have a website??? DBS using MySpace was an epic failure. No DBS website meant no news, no nothing. We literally had no idea about DBS radio appearances, info on shows, etc. I felt very left out as a fan of DBS. - Scarce M&Gs. Face it, 80% of the DBS fans come from Linkin Park fans. There's no DBS fanclub but the LPU / DBS not offering M&Gs for most shows was weak. HOWEVER, I must mention the LPU went above and beyond for DBS. The Hamburg show was just incredible. Jimmy Kimmel too. Nice job by the LPU.
  24. I'll admit - that'd be pretty cool to see. Nice idea!
  25. Personally, that's why I keep to the LPU boards and LPLive. Not bashing ANYONE or trying to be egotistical in any way, but I find that the fansites tend to have a LOT less "n00bs" than the official sites. LPU boards actually have a lot less than LP.com / LPU chatroom...but that is why I've usually kept to fansites. The LPLive general member group is pretty educated about the band if you ask me. It may just be me but it really frustrates me when I go to like YouTube, LP.com boards, LPU chat, etc and people are trying to sell me/tell me completely bullshit information on the band and act like I or anyone that believes otherwise is a total dumbass.
