A guy by the name of Bobby over at TheHundreds.com has posted a really informative, good read about "Living Things" when he visited NRG while it was being mixed. Read the full article here. Although we aren’t nearly a mainstream brand, we continue to grow and flourish, and one day we will stand at that crossroads. So, can you be mainstream and still be cool? As I sit here with Mike in the very recording studio Linkin Park concocted their new album, Living Things, not only are my ears open to the music, but so are my eyes. I see the weathered instruments that have bled into this record, the sleepless nights stained across the piano keys and guitar strings, I see the scribbled lyric sheets splayed across the bookstand. As we talk about the record, I grow to understand not only what this band has done, but what they are doing. Ask any thirty-year-old about Linkin Park, and they’ll sweep them into the rap-rock abyss. Agreed. Please keep this up. If it ever fails or is about to fail let me know and we can merge it into LPLive. I've wanted something like this for ages on our site but I haven't exactly figured out how to merge it in yet. Hey guys - we are considering bringing banners back to the site and will only do so for some top-notch banners, so we're asking you guys to come through for us again and help us create some awesome ones. Previously, we had almost 300 rotating ones on the site. Things that were included in the images were show posters, live images of the band, pics of the band, band logos, LPLive logos and phrases "For the fans, by the fans", DSP pictures, etc. Here are some examples of previous ones we used: Banner 1 Banner 2 Banner 3 These should be your custom creation, not some ripoff of other stuff...just be creative with them like you were last time! Dimensions are 620 width and 200 height. If you'd like to make one or a few of them, email them to banners at lplive dot net. No guarantee it will be used but if it's good...you'll likely see it up sometime soon! We had some last time that were really, really good so hopefully we can get some epic submissions again this time. We aren't reusing old ones because we'd like to start new; if you made an old one you are welcome to resize it/change it a bit and send it in! Thanks!

Holy shit pretty expensive. Projekt Revolution in 2007 and 2008 was $70 and then $80...LP just being $93 is really pricey.

For example, LPL member "bajrussell" posted this question in the Honda Civic Tour thread: "Anyone know the ticket limit for LPU presale? Also, anyone know the policy if my LPU membership is in my name, but I take my son (could he go to the M&G as the LPU member and I go with him since he is a minor)? I tried to find some kind of faq on LPU and also searched the forums but could not find these items addressed. Going to the Indy show on 8/25! Thanks! " Or another example: "How are the presale tickets on lpu compared to ticketmaster? This might be the first time I don't get pit tickets, so I'd like to be as close as possible in terms of seating.
