  1. Hope nothing good gets dropped for lost in the echo in Bristow
  2. I have zero information about today's "show" lol
  3. Agreed on some points. LP is about to be very shocked when Incubus blows the place apart
  4. I'll tweet it after the show is over if you want. or if I get bored during the show, which I'm sure I will with how many uninteresting songs LP is set to play lol
  5. Google the site name and read the interview with the owner.
  6. I remember that like it was yesterday LOL. A Mike and Brad interview from April 2007 said how difficult it was to rehearse TLTGYA since they added so much shit to it in the studio, but the interview specifically said you'll see it at Bamboozle. That's hilarious.
  7. Wrong. You dropped From the Inside and Blackout, and if they replace those with new songs off of the new album what a travesty that would be. Oh how disappointing I'd much rather see A Place For My Head, With You, Runaway, Papercut, Points of Authority, From the Inside and Blackout than any single song off of the new album. If you drop anything, drop New Divide. Or if you want to get rid of two terrible songs there's always Lies Misery Greed and Burn It Down
  8. LOL. EPIC. I wonder if that's as good as BUILDING IT ERRRPPP.
  9. Maybe an arena tour next year.
  10. In a press release today, SiriusXM announced that Linkin Park will be playing a show in Los Angeles on August 6th for a "Townhall Special". ""SiriusXM's Town Hall with Linkin Park," scheduled to take place on Monday, August 6, will air on Octane, channel 37, on Tuesday, August 14 at 9:00 pm ET and will be rebroadcast throughout the week. The special will be hosted by SiriusXM host Jose Mangin. The "Town Hall" special will include the band answering a variety of questions from the studio audience about their career, their latest album, LIVING THINGS, and their upcoming "LIVING THINGS World Tour." In addition to the Q&A session, the "Town Hall" will also feature a special, intimate concert performance by the band. SiriusXM listeners will hear some of the band's biggest hits, along with songs from the new album." Source: LPAssociation Do you think the band will debut another song from LIVING THINGS ahead of the Honda Civic Tour? SETLIST: 01. Waiting For The End (Apaches Intro w/ 'Until It Breaks' rap; Ext. Outro) 02. Breaking The Habit 03. Crawling 04. The Catalyst 05. BURN IT DOWN 06. In The End 07. Numb 08. Bleed It Out (w/ Beastie Boys 'Sabotage' bridge) 09. LOST IN THE ECHO (Live Debut) 10. What I've Done 11. One Step Closer Q&A between songs, most likely between WFTE/BTH and BIO/LITE.
  11. Gotta see a collab. Chester singing an Incubus song would be epic. Brandon during LP would sure make the LP set more enjoyable. Just come out on a good song and nothing from living garbage
  12. No way they go to South America twice in 2012, lol. Just not happening.
  13. I know they do - great spot for Coldplay to shoot their Paradise video haha
  14. Damn they almost sold out Johannesburg asap, maybe they'll play a second night. That's crazy. Huge venue.
  15. Exactly. That lyrically would be a better fit.
  16. Always technically a rumor until the band posts it. I can give lots of examples. Sheffield 2010 was confirmed, booked at the venue and the promoter said good to go, band was confirmed and all. But LP didn't announce it because of the possibility of the MTV EMA's, and then that came through so they "canceled" Sheffield and then announced the Madrid show. Point is, it's not confirmed until it is on LP.com It can be booked up all day long but whether the band actually goes through with announcing it, etc is always how we get our confirmation.
  17. Seems the rumors we posted yesterday were a bit off but the band is indeed returning to South America this fall - in October. Four shows in Brazil were just announced. From LP.com: "I'm very excited to announce that we'll be heading back to Brazil in October for a run of shows, starting in Sao Paulo on October 7. We had such a great time the last time we were there that we didn't want to wait another 6 years before heading back. Dates and LPU pre-sale information is below. If you're not an LPU member, you can join at LPUnderground.com. See you soon, Phoenix" October 7: São Paulo, Brazil - Parque Anhembi LPU Presale: July 25-29 Public On Sale: July 30 October 8: Rio de Janeiro, Brazil - Citibank Hall LPU Presale: July 25-29 Public On Sale: August 6 October 10: Curitiba, Brazil - Parana de Clube LPU Presale: July 27-31 Public On Sale: August 1 October 11: Porto Alegre, Brazil - Zequinha Stadium LPU Presale: July 27-31 Public On Sale: August 1 Who's going? Do you think the band will play other South American shows on this tour? And now it looks like Europe will be after these shows.
  18. I would think that the European shows would be announced like....now, lol. Before the Honda Civic Tour at least. Probably being announced within the next several weeks. I'm sure a million German shows, some UK shows, and a mix of everything else random Hopefully countries like Italy, Spain and Portugal get proper headlining shows.
  19. It is looking very well for South American Linkin Park fans, with several big rumors flying around about the band returning to South America later this year. First, the promoter Gabriel Simas has posted on July 9 that the band is returning to Brazil this year: "Linkin Park: show in Brazil is confirmed. The band has already started with the process of work visas to come here." Thanks to Felipe for the heads up about this! Wesleylpbr from LP Brazil adds that promoter XYZ is rumored to have signed a contract with the band already for shows in November in South America. Two shows are rumored in Brazil, one possibly on November 17th, and a show in Buenos Aires, Argentina is rumored for November 15th at Estadio José Amalfitani. A Brazilian publication also says "Linkin Park and Norah Jones come to Brazil the band arrives in November. The two artists play outside festivals." While we are not sure if the band will play headlining shows or festivals or a mixture of both like their 2010 three show tour there, we are becoming increasingly convinced the band will return in November. A fall European Tour should be announced very shortly, falling in what we are hearing to be October. Stay tuned! 7/19 EDIT: With the band announcing four shows in Brazil today, it looks like the European Tour will be right after South America.
  20. Julien-K has announced two new headlining shows for next month. These join several other shows already announced for later this year. 14.08.2012 West Hollywood, CA, The Roxy Theatre - Sunset Strip Music Festival Week 23.08.2012 Scottsdale, AZ, Martini Ranch [NEW] 24.08.2012 Las Vegas, NV, Hard Rock Cafe Las Vegas [NEW] 25.08.2012 Santa Ana, CA, The Observatory (The Constellation Room) 05.10.2012 Berlin, Germany, K17 Ryan recently posted this on his Facebook: "cruel daze of summer. LA. phoenix. vegas. OC. new gypsy. europe. south america. europe. russia. thats whats on my fucking mind." So expect some new shows coming soon. We have heard rumors about more shows being added in Europe in October (including Russia) with South American appearances right after that. For the full Julien-K live guide we have featured on LPLive, click here.
  21. Simas is legit as it gets, I believe this now. I'll concoct a news post soon about the tour. Looks like this will happen.
