Linkin Park are among the confirmed acts to play the 2011 Main Square Festival in Arras, France. The Festival takes place from July 1st - 3rd, and Linkin Park have been announced to take the stage on the first day, Friday July 1st. They will be joining other acts such as The Chemical Brothers on the same day, as well as Coldplay, Arcade Fire & Portishead who are set for the weekend. The date got confirmed by the Festival. Source: LPA and lavoixdunord.fr So it looks like the next date is close to be confirmed. NOTE: This date is not yet confirmed by the band!

Today is not only the start of the US tour, but also the birthday of Rob Bourdon. He will celebrate his birthday once again on tour, like 2008 in Frankfurt, but this time in the US. The whole LPL team wishes Rob a Happy Birthday and an awesome tour through the USA for the next few weeks. Later during the tour, we will have the birthday of Phoenix (08.02. Toronto, ON) and Mike (11.02. Uncasville, CT) and both on a show date, that's awesome. So we will get 3 HQ Happy Birthday DSP recordings during one tour. How awesome is that?

So tomorrow the first show of the North American tour is going to happen. This will be the third performance of Linkin Park in this city and the second time at the same venue. The first show was back in 2001 (show page here) and the second show was in 2004 as a part of the Meteora World Tour (show page here). In 2004 the venue was called Office Depot Center and now the name has been changed to Bank Atlantic Center. After the show there will be a day off and then they will play the second show of the tour in Tampa, FL. Find the whole tour schedule here. Back in 2004 before 'Faint' the band picked a guy from the crowd to play guitar with them, but he couldn't. Is there a chance that a fan will request during the M&G to play a song on guitar or bass with the band? We got a lot of different set lists during the tours last year in Europe, Middle East and Australia (find them here). Do you think they will use these set lists or is there a chance of new set lists or even rotating ones again like late 2007 - end of 2008? So far there is one song left from A Thousand Suns that hasn't been played live yet. Do you think there is a chance we'll get 'Robot Boy' sometime during the tour or even on the first date? as far as I know they won't do any festival show in Germany and I hope LP will come beginning of June to Germany and not later, cause I have my exams end of the month ...

According to the site 20min.ch Linkin Park are going to play at the Open Air St. Gallen Festival which will be held from June 30th to July 3rd. They will be playing on July 2nd. Tickets are on sale now! So, this marks the third European tour date so far, having one in Donnington, England and the other one in London, England. Which other countries do you expect to be added? As the year 2010 is almost over and we've jad a lot of awesome shows by Linkin Park during the last couple of months, it was time to put all the played setlists together on one page with all the little different things LP added at each show to make it special, such as 'Burning In The Skies' or 'A Place For My Head' during the bridge of 'Bleed It Out'. We worked on these pages for a long time and have different pages for every tour since LP are changing the setlist on their tours starting with the Projekt Revolution tour 2007 (setlists can be found here) up to each tour until end of 2010 (setlists can be found here). You can find each setlist listed on a section here at LPLive.net since we updated our site to 4.0 earlier this year. The section is called Setlists/Songs and can be found in the "Site" menu, such as other sections. We just updated the 2010 setlists songs as well as added the notes to the 2009 Summer tour setlists (can be found here). Once a tour is done we will update this section with each played setlist during the tour. So if you want to know which setlist LP played on their tours since they started to rotate the setlists you can find all the information in this section.
