  1. Damn, I read this in the bus this mornig and didn't get it, because I felt like I was still sleeping. Now I got so many things to look forward too I don't really think the big LP Announcement is LPU11. I mean .. everyone knows it's coming up, so what kind of announcement would this be ? ^^ The only thing about LPU11 could be the release date, but I'm already happy with knowing, that it's coming up so that wouldn't be a big announcement FOR ME. However, DTD is very likely. I'm wondering what they wanna collect money for, but it'd be a nice thing anyways. Hopefully they gonna offer some new T-Shirts for MFR, the last ones were great.
  2. Reanimation is the shit. They just did what they wanted to, represented another style with their 'old' songs what was really cool to hear and they kind of created a new sound that I (talking for myself) never heard before. I think the idea behind Reanimation is very similiar to the of A Thousand Suns. They just reinterpreted theirselfes and their music in another way.
  3. I think the irony is, that they spelled 'Linkin Park' like the park they are named after
  4. I just took some crappy pictures of my stuff from the concert in Cologne, Germany last year (27.10.2010), so if you wanna put this on the show page, I can take better ones
  5. Nice to know But honestly .. is it so hard to find midis of songs ? I also found one for With You what was really hard.
  6. Linkin Park just won an European Music Award at the EMA's 2011 for Burning In The Skies in the category 'Best Rock'. They were also nominated for the category 'Best World Stage' which is going to be presented later. Because Linkin Park couldn't attend in Belfast, they recorded a video in which Mike thanks all the fans and everyone who voted for them. So what do you think, are they going to win the award for 'Best World Stage' too ? EDIT: Linkin Park did not win the EMA 2011 for 'Best World Stage', 30 Seconds To Mars just won it. In the promotion video which was showed before the nomination, they showed a snippet of Numb, live at the EMA's 2010 in Madrid. Source: VIVA (German channel which airs MTV shows) and the MTV EMA 2011 Homepage.
  7. oops, haha no general knowledge.. Thanks
  8. I was wondering if the name 'Oppenheimer Intro' that LP played at some 2011 shows has something to do with the family Oppenheim from Germany who's famous for dealing with diamonds. EDIT: Post No. 200
  9. Yeah, when you get a reply like that you'll never forget this site

    DBS Live

Already knew it, when does this go to the newswire ? I find this pretty awesome, but I'd like it more if they would just finish their LP album, tour and THEN play DBS or FM concerts. I mean .. do you think, they only going to play at this one gala and that's it ? I hope for more .. but they havn't got the time now so how do you think this is gonna work ?
  11. On The Making Of Minutes To Midnight, Mike says something about how they start creating a song. He says that they often first record kind of 'mubled vocals' (that fits to the rythm, etc.) over a songs instrumental version, just to check how it would sounds or something like that. So my question now is, if Fear (from LPU9) is such a song, because I can't figure out any lyrics and Mikes just mumbles senseless stuff
  12. I really don't know if this is against the rules, so I just gonna help you out this way
  13. Let's bet, who thinks they gonna apprear at RaR ? I highly doubt it too. The last years they canceled because they wanted to play on a touring festival like PR and of course they won't have that much to while writing songs for the new album and so on. I just hope 2012 won't be a year like 2005 and 2006 where they only played a few shows because they worked on MTM.
  14. I like this, very nice shit. Good instrumental and cool video, double strike
  15. That's what they gonna do, but we were asked, not them.
  16. Hybrid Theory - Papercut - One Step Closer - Points Of Authority Meteora - Lying From You - Figure.09 - From The Inside Minutes To Midnight - Given Up - What I've Done - No More Sorrow A Thousand Suns - Burning In The Skies - Wretches And Kings - The Catalyst Hybrid Theory and Meteora are VERY difficult. My alternate choices would be One Step Closer, Points Of Authority and By Myself, In The End or A Place For My Head. I just tried to choose songs, I always can listen to. Breaking The Habit, Numb and Somewhere I Belong are great too, but I really have to be in the mood for them. Faint is very close to From The Inside and Figure.09, but it's kind of too fast getting boring when you listen to it often. My choices on Minutes To Midnight and A Thousand Suns are very clear, because on this recording it's like I either like a song very much or I just like a song. And that's my choice
  17. I voted for HT-M, because I really like their oldschool style. They joked around a lot, went crazy on almost every show and had this .. we do what we want, we are Linkin Park-aura. But no doubt, MTM was awesome too. If you watch The Making Of Minutes To Midnight, you can see LP joking around and having so much fun about reinvent theirselfes. They looked like grown up, childish guys, I liked that. Also Mikes hairstyle was the shit Nowadays, they seem like .. they ACT funny, fresh and this. They are still awesome and making wonderful music by being the best band ever, but I don't really like their changing.
  18. I agree, this would be nice I also wish for shorter interludes if there gonna be some.
  19. Okay, I got another one. Has anyone else except of Chester and Mr. Hahn pulled off his shirt during a live concert ? EDIT: Of course, I'm asking for a proof photo or video too. Maybe the question sound a little bit weird, but I was wondering about that when I saw a picture from a very old show, where Mr. Hahn stood behind his turntables wihtout a shirt. And because I've only seen Chester without a shirt, I thought, this would be a good question
  20. hmm .. good question. I prefer less interludes and about 12 songs. +1/-1 is okay, less also okay, but more would make it very hard to create a fine setlist with the 'best' from every album. What I'd like to have is a simply intro and outro like they did on some live shows. I also think songs about 5 or more minutes are not the best LP can do. I think ~ 45 minutes of Linkin Park is the best way, they could present their new work. Hopefully there won't be things like Empty Spaces or Fallout, but I guess, LP listened that much, thtat they won't fill the album with interludes again
