  1. So what's this whole jumping in line thing? I already preordered the album, LPU member, and they seem to be making everybody jump through hoops. kind of frustrating. Really hope they hit up Madison, but not expecting it
  2. This is absolutely amazing. I know blink aren't that great live IMO, but two of my favorite bands.. My two best friends love blink and touring with LP will be unforgettable. Really hope they hit up Milwaukee, madison is a long shot and St. Paul seems likely at worst
  3. Disappointed. Besides Chester, the song could be much better than it is. It sounds like a track to me where I can like some pieces, but at the end of the day I'll skip it when it comes up on my music player
  4. I love Push and Mike. I love anything rap they've done for 15+ years. This studio track makes no sense. These three guys have nothing in common, not even a label association, and they mashed together for what could (and I hope not) be a bad song with great pieces. Go release a fort Minor mixtape Mike. You have pull and product to make great tracks again. Nobody really cares to here a DBS track on an LP studio album, don't be selfish enough to put a self proclaimed ill fitting track on, just because you can't be bothered to make FM2
  5. That's bad, gotta keep hope. Mail came again today (Saturday) and nothing..
  6. Leaving work in a half hour, going to check my mailbox. Trying to get a bunch of errands done today so I'll have free time tomorrow at the latest. Cross your fingers, really hope this isn't the incorrect CD Nothing mailed yesterday... Hopefully today
  7. I would like to buy this....If it was cheaper. It's standard price but I'm sure the best parts will be available soon after the release
  8. I bought my copy from "green merchant" I'm a little more hopeful because it is different. Still expected by Friday guys, hang in there
  9. Yes I just checked Amazon, should be here by the 24th. Astat do you know what the name of your seller was?
  10. Mine still hasn't come yet....I'm holding out hope that I didn't get the wrong copy too
  11. I think pusha had a throwaway verse on I'll be gone honestly. Hes had amazing verses from Lord willing to mbdtf to my name is my name... Great flow, better word play. His verse on I'll be gone is one of the worst features I've heard from push, and I normally wouldn't say that. If he brings a verse like 40 acres he could absolutely murder this track with LP, I'm incredibly hyped. Stormzy is no slouch either, from what I've heard
  12. Can't really blame him either... He's usually busier than any of us. When you make that many songs for that long things can get lost in the shuffle. Didn't he also find the demo slip in his closet a few years ago? If he wasn't cleaning we never would have heard it
  13. I bought 11 as well, good luck!
  14. Going off the lead that Mike says "we're back", they could potentially have a track on a third rapology album. I can't find any information on the internet in regards to Rapology 12 or 10. No sales anywhere, no images even. Rapology 9 has a tracklist and it's much too early for anything Mike would be on. Also what's the first Styles of Beyond track off 14? That'd be nice to hear.
  15. Believe this I'm only in it for the friends I mean every single sentence that I scream it's just the sound as the break beat kicks that's got us all dancing in the mist incomprehensible bullethole ventilators stainless steel metal invincible diamond and platinum grade it's like illogical fabricated facade God sent and hell bent I'm mentally not making any sense to be? (me?) eventually you're tempting me to put you on the chopping block as a sacrifice to hip hop when I knock you off a razorblade and pop and lock with axes put your head in a basket as an example for those who pass it medievally approaching these festivities jump around frequently when you see me like being? on PCP frequently me and Mark transform like DMC into soundwaves of sun setting every frequency headless and workless crying out your curses playing all these games and turning this into a circus quidless and worthless (quidless seems farfetched, but I don't know what else it could be) playing all these games
  16. I think my HD800 S's are coming in handy... it's like a royal flush A rush when I bust verbally press crush earths crust and enemy emcees to dust with one touch stongehenge rhyme riddle a mystery with earth rattle reckoning rewriting your history with blistery fresh mesh with a mess of a civil unrest on wax test press scratch with finesse and next bless with extra-terrestrial techs and program for your organs above your necks undressing hip hop and making it over again THIS IS THE END ill men you'll never defend from the deep end we watch trends and then we see rock and devise plans strand them in the penalty box to mentally stop brains of virtual train wrecks (doesn't make sense but it's not plans) dissect the picture to the word stirred up by the text what's next? heat seeking treats meet your sect when you spit a thousand words and haven't painted a stroke yet I'm working too
  17. This is insane. All this news so quickly is amazing. Thanks to everybody involved...Drew I wish I saw your reddit post earlier I definitely would have helped dig with you. "Guests but they're ___ schtick" is what I could try to make out
  18. One of the best music videos they've released in the past 10 years
  19. Wow what a great callback, hope they had fun. Whisky is always one of those shows any big LP fan wishes they could have gone to
  20. This was an interesting interview. I don't know what to make of Mace honestly. I've always thought he sounded salty in the past (and I don't blame him for that at all), and embellishes a bit. I didn't know what to think of his signed Grey Daze CD's on ebay years ago either. From this interview though he seems fine in recapping from years back, and I wish him well
  21. Am I the only one who likes it? It's relatively generic, and I think this could be their most popular song in about a decade..but it's catchy. It doesn't do anything wrong in my opinion. For anybody saying "RIP LP" you know they change their sound every. single. album. This is no different
  22. I would pay a bad amount of money for them to mix and master their albums better
  23. >Actually, I don't even think ANY of the demos that we have received since LPU9 are even legit. I think they just get together and spend a day or a few hours making random instrumentals and a few vocal songs and throw them together. That's a heck of a conspiracy theory. I don't think they spend that much time giving us underground albums. I'd say at this point it could be all Mike/Brad just figuring out what they can't release and moving from there. To say that in the past 6 years they've spent days and days just making 60 fake demos for the fans seems ridiculous. > I've thought this for years now and the whole Burberry thing just really confirmed it for me Four years is a lot of time. For us fans, all we do is wait and consume what the band releases. For the band, in that span they've released two albums, 4 underground albums, a remix album, and toured to countless places. On top of that they have their own lives to handle outside of the band. If Mike seriously knew Burberry and Space Station were the same demo and it had already been released I don't think he would have. People forget, they're human. To me that's the easiest scenario and the one that makes the most sense. More sense than the band re-recording demos for us in their off time. > I can almost guarantee that they just muted the vocals off of it before giving it to us because they didn't want people to hear it or whatever. I don't disagree with that. But to think they only have one demo for every song is crazy to think too. My guess is for every track they have multiple versions. If the choice arose for the Bleed it Out demo was release the version with a chorus they might revisit vs. a version with mumbled lyrics, it's a no-brainer. >think they felt guilty after LPU8 and the reception it originally had and that's how LPU9 happened Absolutely agree. That said, LPU9 was seven years ago. I doubt their releasing stuff in 2016 based off of the reception they got in 2008. > I've also seen people say that people don't have a right to complain because it's free. I don't think people say they don't have a right because it's free. I say you should not complain because free or not, demos released yearly is not something that many bands do. Linkin Park don't have to do this for anybody. I'm sure it would have been easier to relinquish rights to the LPU years ago. Who cares if they make a little money or cover their margins? They don't have to do this for anybody. If they wanted to make money they would rush albums out faster than they do already with subpar product. They'd release a greatest hits album already, they'd release collabs and more features. IF they wanted more money, there are many more ways to make it outside of a fan club. >People aren't allowed to complain about a product? People can't be unsatisfied with music? People absolutely can. I think complaining about the quality of the T-shirt, bundle, shipping, etc. is more than fair. And as for the music, people can be unsatisfied with it. I'll move back to the old point though, that the alternative is nothing. This isn't the same thing as going 3 years from Meteora without a true LP album, LPU should be treated as a bonus >But back to the whole 2015 thing, I honestly believe that they just took these instrumentals that they had laying around from years ago and purposely picked ones that somewhat sounded like stuff they have been working on over the past few years and threw the 2015 date on them and slapped them on the CD. Not only do I think that the band feels uncomfortable giving us music from the new album sessions before the album comes out, but I don't think Warner really likes that idea, either. And you can argue that they have gave us stuff like this is in the past, with A.06 before Meteora came out, and Announcement Service Public and Qwerty before MTM came out, but I guarantee A.06 and Announcement Service Public weren't selections to make the final album and we already knew Qwerty wasn't being considered for the album a while before LPU6 came out. Like I said, I don't think the band themselves even feel comfortable doing that to this current day and I don't think Warner likes that idea, either. Agree 100%. Especially the fact they're uncomfortable releasing music. I think the LPU (11?) with Slip and Blue was amazing. But Mike finding them in his closet after forgetting about them kinda cements the fact that they don't put much thought into it. Some are going to be better years than others, sometimes I think it just takes luck to get a better year (subjectively)
  24. So negative... would you prefer LPU 7 and 8 all over again?
  25. We have the same taste, good work
