  1. the question now is whether the film will cover only São Paulo 2024, since much of the preparation was clearly done there, or if any filming for the documentary took place before Brazil or afterward.
  2. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Depeche_Mode:_M "It blends concert footage with archival materials and cultural interstitials to explore themes of music, mortality, and Mexican traditions surrounding death." I could be wrong about those examples 🫣 I haven't actually seen any of them.
  3. Looks like we’ll get a concert documentary instead of a full live-show release. Makes sense, it’s the trend now, like with Taylor Swift, Depeche Mode, and others who’ve put out documentaries instead of just the whole concert. I’d expect it to follow the band’s comeback and success, with some interviews from the band and fans, bits from LPTV, and a few songs from the São Paulo 2024 show.
  4. Unfortunately, no.
  5. Nice that the show starts so late so we can watch it live on Monday morning here in Europe too. (6:00 AM) 😅
  6. I don't agree that UFTB should represent the next album. AFAIK, it was made as a single for the deluxe release, so it was meant to fit with the other From Zero songs and have some commercial appeal. It definitely sounds like LP from the first second, there's almost nothing unpredictable about it (maybe the bridge is an exception). I think the band will want to evolve on the next album and make it sound different enough from most of the stuff on From Zero.
  7. Comparing "Good Things Go" from the Mexico show on LP’s YouTube to the Buenos Aires version, it’s clear Emily was really struggling in Argentina with the high notes in the chorus, it sounded almost painful. I’m not trying to criticize her, I just think the song is too demanding for her voice and there are better options where she could really shine like Over Each Other or Stained.
  8. We need more pro shots — this one is incredible. Big props to the audio mixing; it sounds fantastic. I was worried the livestream would have great video but poor sound, but it nailed both. Way better show than Brazil 2024 in every way. More pro shots like this, and I wouldn't mind if the band skips an official live release. About the show — I agree that Emily lost vocal power near the end, especially on GTG. Kinda bummed HITC had the wrong start, but it was funny. I love the energy of UFTB, TEM, and CTB — they’re killers live. Would've loved to see KTTK, Unshatter, Stained, FTI, or LYF in proshot, but it was still a great show — well done LP!
  9. I’d like that to be true, but only time will tell. To be realistic, I don’t expect an MTM20 release. I’m not saying they’ll never put out anything with Chester on it—just not so soon after the comeback. Maybe MTM25, or they could skip MTM20 and go with ATS20 instead.
  10. It’s pretty clear — as Mike said — the band is focused on the future. They introduced the new lineup a few months after Papercuts release that got almost no promotion or interviews. Papercuts still had the old lineup listed and promoted. Then came "Sep 5," which I think pretty much closed the Chester era, at least for now. I don’t expect another anniversary box soon; they’re treating this as a fresh, updated era. They’ll probably put out a live release and then work on the next studio album. I also agree the band doesn’t want to dwell on the Chester era anymore, even if that sounds a bit harsh. There are signs: no Chester vocals in LPTV episodes, very few tributes during shows, using re-recorded Emily backing vocals live, etc. Papercuts really felt like a closure to that chapter.
  11. The album has 10 songs + intro, and then the additional deluxe tracks. BTW, I hope there will be some episodes about the deluxe tracks — that would be great.
  12. Oh man, this was awesome! I really wish we’d get the full Wembley show.
  13. It was about Deftones, not LP
