One thing I will say is that Linkin Park may be experimenting with baseball stadiums instead of football stadiums because A) its football season and B ) baseball stadiums hold 20-30k less people on average than a football stadium which they may think a football stadium might be too big for them? Unsure. But what I can say is that concerts in a baseball stadium are AWFUL. Source: I’ve been there, done that before. if they ever come to Seattle they better not go to the Mariners stadium. Seahawks stadium or arena or outdoor pavilion or bust.

HITC is the best song of 2024 so far. Personally I haven’t heard a scream this good since Kingslayer by Bring Me the Horizon. Insane. I feel like I need to jump around every time I listen to this song. Didn’t even expect anything to top Teacher Has a Gun by Badflower but Linkin Park did it. We are so back!

So if that was intro C and we still have an intro B, what are our guesses for the surprise song for set B? Personally would love Rebellion or Final Masquerade but it will probably be something like From the Inside

I’m not sure they have time to connect to the audience. With how many songs they are playing in the setlist they basically just have to go go go minus the stage transition halfway through to keep at the 2 hour mark. and trust me, getting more songs played is better than talking to the crowd as someone who saw The Gaslight Anthem make small talk for like 20-30 minutes throughout the set and lose us a good amount of songs we could have heard instead. i agree that crowd interaction is nice but when it comes to interaction vs songs I will always chose more songs (even in a case like this with a new singer)

Now we likely know why it was written like ** Lost in the Echo ** on the last setlist. Either APFMH and LITE are rotating with each other or every show that song will be a secret song like what Gracie Abrams and Taylor Swift do which would mean that song would be different each show.

The only song that sounded truly bland to me was Friendly Fire but that’s probably because the original song is insanely bland to me. One of the few official releases from the band that I’d consider a bad song. I think she nailed BTH and it’s one of my top 4 LP songs so I’m just happy they are playing it. I know it’s not Chester on it so it’s not the same but she sounded good. When I saw Linkin Park in Arizona in 2014 they didn’t play Breaking the Habit and that was my only complaint about the entire setlist. Sad that I never got to see Chester perform BTH live because I think that’s their best song from their first 5 albums. For the longest time it was by far my favorite LP song until Castle of Glass rivaled it and now it sits at #4 for me behind MTG, Rebellion, and One More Light. I am very thankful that I was able to see Linkin Park live with Chester but the one song I regret that I never saw Chester perform in person was Breaking the Habit. That song means so much to me and while I prefer the Chester version I’m just happy they are playing it again and that Emily did the song justice. 💜

You and I have the exact same wish list 😀 Really really hoping we see MTG, Rebellion, and GATS at some point. Halfway right would also be dope but I think they might avoid OML album because it might be too emotional for them. Also, “Justice for The Hunting Party” yet still only one song from the album on the setlist. Doesn’t seem like Justice to me. They could easily through in one or two THP singles on top of KTTK. If they want to keep with the heavy theme they could easily add in GATS and Rebellion which were both singles. If they want a more popular song from THP they should play Final Masquerade. I actually wasn’t surprised by many exclusions in the setlist but I was surprised by no Final Masquerade and From the Inside.

I know deep cuts are fire for real fans but does anyone else find it weird to play none of the 5 singles from THP and play KTTK instead? Rebellion and GATS would have also been heavy songs if they were going for "heavy". But I'm also biased because Rebellion is my 2nd favorite LP song ever (and MTG is my 1st). Final Masquerade is also in my top 5 so I'm really biased and I've never been a fan of KTTK.

Honest opinions: Setlist was overall fantastic, I'd only make a few changes I wonder if they will have slightly rotating setlists for every show as Emily did say she learned 50 songs Emily nailed every single song. Only song that sounded bland to me was Friendly Fire but I think the studio version is bland as well so I am not surprised I also found the live version bland I'd replace My December with Iridescent personally I'd replace Friendly Fire with Shadow of the Day personally I'd replace Keys to the Kingdom with Rebellion, Mark the Graves, Guilty All the Same or Final Masquerade personally. Collin did an exceptional job on the drums I really liked how Mike and the rest of the band looked so happy Mike also sounded like he didn't age at all. Mike sounded absolutely incredible and nailed every second of it Setlist was basically greatest hits plus My December, KTTK, and Friendly Fire. Which if we were going for deep cuts those are not the 3 songs I would chose at all. But I think think it's a great setlist overall and has something for everybody. Will be interesting to see if the Brooklyn show is any different.

im talking even with Chester. New Divide has to be the most overrated Linkin Park song that only got big because of Transformers. WTCFM WHAT LETS GOOOOOOO yes BREAKING THE HABIT, their best nu-metal song by far. When I saw them in 2014 they never played BTH and that was my only complaint of the setlist
