SOAD plays on 23rd, and i doubt that LP would play as a support act for them. If they play in Madrid, they'll be a headliner on 24th.

When I go to a concert in a big venue, I always want to see a very unique stage production with screens, lights and things like that. That's why I have Muse in the top of live bands right now. Their stage setup is awesome in every tour. LP, since I follow them (2006/7), was always a few steps behind until THP cycle, with the moving screens and the "towers". It's true that the 360º stage in 2008 was very original. I don't know why they stopped using it (too expensive?). I like the pyramid stage too, that one used on the ATS arena tour.

It's a supposition from nowhere but there's a spanish edition of Download Festival in Madrid confirmed but not announced yet. LP played there several times in the past so maybe they're one of the headliners. Many websites say that the announcement will be sooner than later (this month).

I think this is not related so much with the band. I'm seeing in the past couple of years a low activity in the forums that i visit regularly. Twitter and fb have a lot to say about that. The absence of news around LP's world probably count and i heard in my circle that the people interest in the new LP album is very low compared to other albums.

If you are searching for something to see the quality of the webcast/broadcast of this show, the last Muse DVD/BRD release was filmed with this 4K thing, the show at the Rome Olympic Stadium in Italy. In Europe, many IMAX cinemas showed the concert. Unluckily, in my city we had to see it in "standard resolution" but the quality of the image was almost perfect.

About the bpm of Faint. 135bpm is SLOWER than 70. Why? Usually drummers double the bpm of a song to catch the rythm easier. At the beggining, the demo was at 70 but probably Rob double the tempo to 140 (the song will sound exactly the same but the click is doubled). Later in the making of the song, they reduced the tempo by 5bpm, which is the album version.

The organization of this new festival had announce that famous international bands will be playing there, such as Lenny Kravitz, Linkin Park or Red Hot Chili Peppers. This festival will take place in Tenerife (Canary Islands) from May 24th to 26th and will host around 80-100k people.
