  1. The LP messages are getting solved faster and faster those days....

I don't think it's "SeptTWENTY", but simply "September".And this is stil news, because even if we all knew the new record would comes out that month, there hadn't been any official confirmation until now.

  2. Now you said it, it's true that the photograph on the pic could possibly relate to an explosion-victims-... theme. Maybe there is a relation with the new album art...This is only speculation, but who know?

  3. Back to topic guys...

Did you remember this picture ?

    Posted Image

Yes, it was posted by Mike on his blog a while ago. But I don't see the point of this. Maybe you mean the art picture on the right side could be the album cover, or something like that, but I don't think so. LP studio is covered by a lot of photographs...Band members said it was just for inspiration.
  4. a nine minute vuvuzela solo would be a dream come true.

Yeah \m/ The track could be called : "The mosquito" :D

Anyway, I'm sure the identity picture is somehow an index of what's to come concerning the art of the new record.

  5. This way of revealing information about the new album makes me think about how "Year Zero" by NIN was released. Really mysterious, plainly weird, but pretty fun :)

LPA and LPL share their members just like bazinga! share their womenz.

    Epic win!!!! XD

  6. Mike is somewhere here...He's reading what we are all saying...He knows everything about us....And he's one of us...Maybe it's me, maybe not....It's actually kind of scary

    -m

    (ahah, just kidding)

  7. The new record has been described in so many different terms that I don't except anything from it anymore. Seriously: genre-busting, proggy, mix between HT and MTM, totally different from HT and MTM, more electro, more rapping, heavy, but heavy without metal,...So I come to this conclusion: If the music is good, I will be happy. If the music is not good, I will be unhappy. Simply that.

  8. The Dolphin Stadium went from that to the Shark Stadium to the Sunshine Stadium. All in less than a year and a half. I wonder whats next? The Beach Ball Stadium?

I think "Baywatch stadium" would be more accurate.

  9. Congrats to all the people who worked on this 4.0 version! It looks really cool, even though I have to get used to the new design(s). Show pages seems more and more complete, it's impressive guys. Oh, and yes, I like the little flags added for each of these shows, maybe it's a detail, but it's attractive for the eyes :P

  10. how often i should say it? the prices are the normal LP prices damn fuck!!! is this your first show? because not, you would know that the prices the past few years (2008 to now) were ALWAYS about 60€. so pls calm down!!

Honestly, yes, it will be my first LP show(s). But does it really matter? If the prices were the same in 2008/2009, it only means they were already way too expensive at that time. I didn't realize LP was such a "rich" band...Anyway, I will go to the show and put the money for it, but I'm still kind of shocked...

  11. Amazing news!!!! But...eh....5 dates in 13 days in the same country...Germany has to be the favorite place of LP, no other way. :)

Anyway, going to Koln show for sure, and probably to Frankfurt too. I still hope they will tour in Belgium. And I can't imagine how great it would be to discover a new song live.... B)

  12. I'm here too late...Hope you had a great day! Looking forward to future LP shows... I just have to improve my English to be more understandable than I was at DBS shows

  13. Wow...great idea, great association between LP fansites and LP Underground. I'm amazed. Really . :)

Q: What is your favorite Linkin Park live moment and why? From 2000 to now, whether it's a show you've been to or not, what is your favorite moment of the band's live history?

A: I've never been to a LP show, so it's difficult to judge correctly. But I've always though that the whole Rock Am Ring 2004 performance was insane. The intro of "Don't Stay" give me the chills. The "wish" cover is epic. And when Brad hits the first guitar notes of "Step Up", the only word that comes to me is: legendary. Plus, there were so many people in the crowd, so much energy, it's simply impressive....The only negative aspect of that show was Chester haircut in my opinion ( :P ). To conclude: a show which is so good that you have to complain about a band's member haircut to find somethign negative to say has to be my favorite LP show ever.

Good luck to everyone who is entering this contest!

  14. Seriously? Oh wow - that's cool! What band was he talking about? I'm really into some death metal stuff.

Mike talked about this when he let some unsigned bands promote their music on his blog. He picked his favorites and posted some information about them: sound, myspace links,...The band in question was called Circle of Contempt. Check them out ! ;)

  15. Thank you for the help guys!

I hope they release the remaining Vegas stuff someday soon.

I don't think we will get something from DBS soon. The whole thing seems done now, and Chester is focusing on LP. This means no new singles/new videos/20 eyes studio cover/Vegas DSP/....Maybe in 4 or 5 years, if the band comes out of the water for a new record, there could be a chance to get old unreleased material...
