  1. Don't get me wrong, I don't own an Ipod either, but I mean, the song will more than likely be all around the net on monday. And that's why I don't except a leak anymore, it would just be pointless. Really, listening to a song 1 day earlier is not a big deal. Anyway, let's see what happen and enjoy the song when it's out =D

  2. that would be awesome when he upload the song :D

Lol. There's only 2 days left before the release of the game + Blackbirds. We have been waiting months for 8 Bit-Rebellion, a leak now would be a little senseless... :P

  3. Might I be the only one who is a little disappointed by Chester performance?

I mean, he's moving way too much, it isn't authentic and it doesn't bring any form of energy to the show. Also, his screamings in "Bullet with Butterfly Wings" are very weak imo (because of the tiredness?)

Anyway, with this new haircut and the sunglasses, Chester looks like a clone of the Avendeg Sevenfold singer (see clip of the song "Almost Easy")...

  4. It's kind of sad to see this stadium disappear....If I still watch Live In Texas one day, I will be thinking "Now this place doesn't exist anymore" and that will make me nostalgic... :( Oh well, I'm not very materialist anyway ^^

  5. I'm loving this track right now....Mike has brought his special path to the song (beat, vocals, general atmosphere), but at the same time, Carry Me Away has a very Cypress Hill-ish vibe to it. It's exactly what I'm excpecting when 2 artists are working together....Great!

  6. HOLY SHIT!!!

Yesterday I was looking at the cover of this CD and was like" This cover is so random...Would be so easy to copy the CD and resell it. Sure the guy will put out other CD's in the future..." And then, today...Bam, new HT 8 track demo on Ebay!

    I probably need an exorcist...

  7. LP members are really caring about those days :) I'm wondering how many times those Ustream chats will continue....It makes me remember when Chester appeared on Twitter, at first he was very active, but then he totally stopped posting.

Just that . & they asked if there were any lady gaga fans which resulted in saying she's good, sucks, Meg

    yehh

Oh sh*t...So now...what about LP covering Lady gaga's song "Poker Face" on next tour????

  8. FINALLY we get some good LP news  Really excited about the song, sounds awesome. The funny thing about it is that I was even surprised to hear Mike rapping, since every new song LP has released since MTM only has Chester's vocals (New Divide, Not Alone, Across The Line) and I was getting used to that.

And yes, Blackbirds is the 6th string song without any doubt, like many of you have said....it means we will now have 15 of the 17 final songs from the MTM session. Still need to get the last two, then asking Mike what was the order between them (we already know ATL would have been the 13th), and after that, enjoying our "official" extended version of MTM with 17 tracks!!! :P

  9. Just because it would be for a relief effort doesn't at all mean that the lyrics of the songs have to relate. It's for releasing good, unreleased music that way people will hopefully buy it and support the cause. That post makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

No. It's just a different point of view. Even if I'm ok with the "releasing good, unreleased music that way people will hopefully buy it and support the cause" thing, there are limits to that. Sorry but I can't see songs about sex, drugs (and other common metal themes) supporting a relief effort.

  10. I'd love to see LP related with something heavy again, since they haven't done a real loud songs for years...So maybe a Metal DTD album? On the other side, I'm not sure heavy guitars and screamings would fit the MFR's goal...Just imgine: "NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!YOU ARE NOT ALOOOOOOOOONNNNNE!!!! AAAAAAAARGHHHHHHHH!!!!FUUUUUUCK HEARTQUAKESSSSS!!!!!!!!! "

    Anyway

    DTD......to Chile!

    This....
  11. My favorite band member is Mike, obviously. He is the band's brain, and without him, LP would become a classic (and boring?) rock band. I know Chester is really important too, because of his voice and charisma, but honestly, he doesn't bring a lot to the music in itself. In my opinion, Mike composes Linkin Park music with the help of some other members, and uses Chester only like an instrument, after having finished the instrumentals, the melodies,.... It's maybe extreme point of view, but probably not so far from the truth...

  12. The realease of next LPU CD would indeed be the perfect situation for leaking some unreleased songs from the HT era...

    ->10th anniversary of LPU

    ->10th anniversary of HT

It would give us more informations about the early Linkin Park day's...Wich is always great!

  13. It seems like I'm coming too late ...no matter....Happy birhtday man!!!!

Thanks for all the work you 've put into LPL ;) I wonder if in 2006, you could imagine the site you were starting would become the greatest Linkin Park fansite on the web...

  14. He also said, "Fans have been asking for it, so here it is: a full online catalog of our live performance recordings from 2007-2009." Well, not FULL (we're missing everything pre-Projekt Revolution 2007, a few random 2007 shows, the entire European summer tour in 2008 and a few 2009 shows) exactly...haha.

Mike edited his post about that "missing shows part":

EDIT: This is the full catalog of everything we've got. I know there are some missing shows. That's because some shows weren't able to be recorded for various reasons (things like technical difficulties or limitations by the venue, etc.).

I think it's clear enough now that we will probably never get those shows, or at least most of them :-/
  15. Fucking amazing tour!!!! Cologne was amesome indeed, the crowd was in fire.

I couldn't make a review of the shows I went to (because of my "not so good" English), but I can tell the positive/negative points of the tour though:

    + Intimate rocking shows!!!!

+ Made me discover The Delta Fiasco...At first , I didn't liked them so much, but now, yes (at least some of their songs)

+ Met a lot of cool people (Lee, Amit, Alex, Tomer,...)

+...and Elias! (Would have liked meeting the other band members too, but I couldn't, unfortunately)

    + First time I came in Germany...Cologne has a beautiful Cathedral =D

+++ And, of course, the LPL poster given to Julien-K!

    - some of the security guys were really not cool

    - and the story about the girl who passed out...Some of the fans are such individualist, they only care about getting an autograph from Chester...I'm sure they wouldn't react if a guy would die in front of them because of them pushing each other too strong...I saw an other girl who was feeling sick in Cologne for the same reason, it's not cool at all...

***And yes, cool pictures!! I'm on the first one =D
