  1. He also said, "Fans have been asking for it, so here it is: a full online catalog of our live performance recordings from 2007-2009." Well, not FULL (we're missing everything pre-Projekt Revolution 2007, a few random 2007 shows, the entire European summer tour in 2008 and a few 2009 shows) exactly...haha.

Mike edited his post about that "missing shows part":

EDIT: This is the full catalog of everything we've got. I know there are some missing shows. That's because some shows weren't able to be recorded for various reasons (things like technical difficulties or limitations by the venue, etc.).

I think it's clear enough now that we will probably never get those shows, or at least most of them :-/
  2. Fucking amazing tour!!!! Cologne was amesome indeed, the crowd was in fire.

I couldn't make a review of the shows I went to (because of my "not so good" English), but I can tell the positive/negative points of the tour though:

    + Intimate rocking shows!!!!

+ Made me discover The Delta Fiasco...At first , I didn't liked them so much, but now, yes (at least some of their songs)

+ Met a lot of cool people (Lee, Amit, Alex, Tomer,...)

+...and Elias! (Would have liked meeting the other band members too, but I couldn't, unfortunately)

    + First time I came in Germany...Cologne has a beautiful Cathedral =D

+++ And, of course, the LPL poster given to Julien-K!

    - some of the security guys were really not cool

    - and the story about the girl who passed out...Some of the fans are such individualist, they only care about getting an autograph from Chester...I'm sure they wouldn't react if a guy would die in front of them because of them pushing each other too strong...I saw an other girl who was feeling sick in Cologne for the same reason, it's not cool at all...

***And yes, cool pictures!! I'm on the first one =D

  3. So finally no dsp's we didn't have yet? Well, it's disappointing, but honestly, I had never been really excited about those one...I'm much more interested by the 8 bit-rebellion game.

    And also...

Of course, we already have/had all of the DSPs online, and thus this archive doesn't make much sense for the LPLive users, but I'm sure there are tons of people who don't visit LPL and have no clue how to get the old shows via Torrent/File-Hosters, so they'll be happy to buy the shows at LP.com!

    Totally agreed
  4. When/Where was the LPL meetup at the melkweg show in Amsterdam?

all i saw was people jumping in canals.

Wilderness was one of those...But he didn't exactly jump in the canal, he fell into it! :-/

I think people will remember the canals of Amsterdam now...

Otherwise, I was at the Brussel show and it was fucking kick-ass! The avenue was really tiny, and so almost everyone was near the stage. The crowd was awesome too...Hope Chester will come back in Belgium one day =D Also, I met some LPL members (including Wilderness and Thapoet), really cool guys. I didn't understand everything they were saying because of the language barrier though, I guess I have to still improve my English ^^ After the show, I eventually met Elias, talked a little bit with him, and took a photo =D

Really, it was a totally badass day! I could even go to the Koln show now...It's not too far from Belgium and it will be one of the last chance to see DBS live before a long time (I think), so...will see what happen

  5. Do you REALLY believe that? For fuck's sake, he could've just forgotten to put an "s" on the end of the word "songs." How the hell would the band have the songs they're playing on a tour that doesn't start for 9 months planned out already?!?! Some of the things people will take as "confirmation," jeez.

Next tour will have more than one new song. 100% guaranteed.

+1....However, not too much songs either I think. I'd say something like 2 or 3 new songs, like they did before the MTM release (when they leaked What I've Done , No More Sorrow, and Given Up)
  6. Well, to me, Qwerty at Summer Sonic 2006 was easily their best live performance ever. Chester's screamings in it are simply hardcore! \m/

    Other than, I'd say:

    - And One (Rock Am Ring 2001)

    - High Voltage (Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 2002)

    - By Myself (Live In Texas)

    - Wish (but not the Rock Am Ring one, I can't say where the show was...here is a video of it :

    )

Concerning the more recent show, I agree with the songs which have been quoted in this thread

  7. I'm really looking forward to saturday...Hope to see you there and have a ton of fun B)

The problem is...I haven't got a fucking idea about where we could meet...I would prefer before the show, because I'm going alone, but then, where?

  8. Cool to see a video of it, but the parts when we can see the arms of dead guys are just not for me. I mean, I know it shows us the reality, but fuck, I have always been thinking that showing dead people with the intention of making somebody feeling sad is a little bit disrespectful. Would you like that someone was making a footage with photos of you being death? No, and I bet the Haitians in this video wouldnt have liked it either. Really, I'm not into those kinds of things. On the other side, LP made this video only for a good cause, I'm not going to complain too much.

  9. I lol'd! This is totally wrong, even for a theoretical calculating. They maybe release 12 songs, but they certainly make much more. For M2M they had over 100 demos for example. What do you know how many songs they write, change and finish...

    Like I said:

I know they're writing a lot of stuff wich don't end up on any of their records, but we will never heard those songs, so finally, it doesn't really count for us.

And don't tell me about No Roads Left, Across the Line, and Not Alone...those are only 3 songs...

Anyway, I love how some people here are trying to justify the slowness of LP because they are "fans". I'm a fan too, but come on, 4 years between each album is just ridiculous, want it or not.

  10. Well, 4 years for an album = 4 years for (+-) 12 songs

So, theoretically, it takes them 4 months to make a new song....It's just pitiful. I know they're writing a lot of stuff wich don't end up on any of their records, but we will never heard those songs, so finally, it doesn't really count for us.

Honestly, despite the fact I am a Linkin Park fan, I have to admit that taking so much time for releasing new material is not a proof of talent. I'm not saying Linkin Park is a untalented band, but authentic artists can easily put out new music in a short amount of time, without the need of always rewriting a song to make it good. They also don't need to use (with excess?) programs like Protools to build their songs...The Beatles didn't have our technology, and they released 10 albums in 6 or 7 years...
