I gotta say the best crowd I think was Live Earth 2007 in Japan. One and only time I've ever been to Japan, and we broke through the barrier in between the 2nd and 3rd song. I'm sorry. That takes the cake right there.

If there is going to be a North American tour in the summer, does this mean that that is Projekt Rev? I remember watching a video of Chester talking about while writing this album, the process was so different that Projekt Rev seems like it won't happen. Any thoughts?

THIS Seriously, everyone is saying that is is garbage, but you set your expectations WAYY too high. You were expecting to get your face blown off, and that didn't happen. I love the way it sounds. It doesn't sound "too over-produced." You want to hear REALLY "over-produced" listen to Lady Gaga, or any new artist that has like 10-20 artists working on their new albums. That is the "over-produced" sound you are speaking of. It is new, and edgy, especially for Linkin Park, and I think they succeeded. Enjoying it, even if it is clips spliced together. It sucks you don't like it, but don't call it garbage. Please.

The little synth breakdown before what sounds like it could be the chorus, reminds me a lot of songs used to shuffle. I love how Mike and Chester mix their vox. It sounds quite odd and offbeat, which is exactly what I was looking for on this album. I love how everyone is bashing this because it isn't what THEY expected. Does anybody remember Chester saying that on this album, they made the songs to how THEY wanted and not THEIR FANS. If you want to jump off the LP bandwagon because a 30-second snippet has disappointed you, then go for it. I'm not shooting down anyones opinions, because anyone can not like this. I like the decision to go a little more trance-y and dance-like. It fits them.

A friend said he was listening to the radio and it came on. He lives in Salt Lake City. My radio station took the audio stems and put them together. I asked him if that's what it was. He said it was the full song.

No, that happened on September 24th. The release date for Germany. So I went and checked for myself if anything had happened on August 2nd. Nothing except for this. Iraq invades Kuwait, eventually leading to conflict with coalition forces in the Gulf War. Maybe that could have been a "catalyst"...?

I meant if there were any specific events that happened on August 2nd that would relate to the catalyst.

Do we usually get albums before Germany?

Well let's see. "A Thousand Suns" could coincide with nuclear testing...? What about August 2nd?

Assuming that we in the US aren't in a time warp, we don't get albums on Fridays, they get released on Tuesdays. Would Linkin Park go off the grid and release the album on an off-day. Artists are known for doing that, and maybe some of the dates that everyone is seeing could possibly coincide with a certain specific event. Maybe...?

It is the new lp logo. It has slight alterations to the previous logo made for the MTM release. I still can't make out the date though. It is hard to read. I've tried inverting the colors so many ways. But with this, it just means that Mike keeps fucking with us. Lol. The Catalyst will be released on August 2nd, maybe not a single, but it could be a song from the album. But I don't get why any band would do that. So it will most likely be the single. A Thousand Suns looks like it's going to be the name of the album after all. Considering that multiple sources have stated that the album will be released in SEPTEMBER, we can only assume that this is the actual name of the album. I hate speculating. I don't know if anyone feels this way, but Mike is an asshat!

Why cant LP rap anymore? I think Mike's rapping is the shit! And wtf were you talking about StephenTerrel?! If anyone was no longer a fan of LP after M2M It is their loss because a lot of people got all pissy after they changed there sound. Anyways, I think the worst thing linkin park could do at this moment is continue to have us keep our breaths held and then not have the album until 2011. Shit, I could care less if it happens, but that doesn't mean the other people on this forum would start pissin' and moanin'. And I fucking hate that!
