  1. Just an FYI, no regional drop-- midnight in NZ rn, no song. I don't know why anyone expected otherwise, considering there's a countdown and everything, but I just thought I'd let people know.
  2. If I wanted to talk to bots i'd spend time on twitter
  3. Thanks ChatGPT.
  4. I was mad because I woke up really early for the countdown, but once I went back to sleep I wasn't mad anymore.
  5. But not necessarily to the tour grind in general. There's levels of inexperience; the original quoted post read like it was expecting the band to pick someone who'd never toured before.
  6. I don't think it's right to combine unknown with inexperienced. They're not the same thing.
  7. Plenty of bands have come back after lead members have passed without changing their name. There's no need for LP to be different.
  8. I love how LPL are simultaneously label plants and the label will never trust them with anything again. must be nice
  9. Generally that it'd be off by 0.XX in some direction, which is possible sometimes. usually 0.5.
  10. It might suggest it, but there's a fine line between suggesting and stating-- that they never stated it means that the specific phrasing or mentioned members could have come up the way it/they did for a whole host of reasons.
  11. I think we would do well to not conflate "bot mentioned" with "not involved". It's an easy trap to fall in, but we really have nothing to go on right now, and the wording is terminally vague.
  12. Thanks! I wanted to make sure I had that right. Yeah, that's pretty momentous. Personally, what says it all is: They could have saved Papercuts for the 25th anniversary next year and they didn't. Something instead made them rush it.
  13. What does this generally imply for the band beyond "They have a reason to need a new agent"?
