  1. Really like it, too (best part are Rob's drums, imo, especially in the second half of the track). But at the moment I guess Mike doesn't know whether something based on this will end up on the album just as much as we do. I'm sure we can't imagine how many of those demos they've already recorded during these past months, and it may well be one among many that we won't ever hear of again. All the greater, though, that Mike shared this - if indirectly - with us ... EDIT Oh, and is there a chance that someone could rip the whole video? Thanks ...
  2. In case you want to download just one song to I think you have to get In The End, Mike's comment was cut to the next track ...
  3. Yeah, I like this sincere respekt and admiration that Mike seems to have for Chester, and I think vice versa. Reminds me of that cool thing he did after Crawling during this recent make-up show in Albuquerque. There was no Chris Cornell at that show, so Chester was alone on Crawling, and referring to Chester usually calling Chris the "greatest voice in Rock'n Roll" at that point, Mike stepped in and told Chester, "you're the best singer in Rock'n Roll. That's you." I don't know ... just an incredibly great gesture, and heartfelt, it seemd. EDIT Btw, since the other news thread seems to be deserted already, check this out: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=8WAWDQET
  4. Finally a video of Chester performing Mountain Song! Awesome!
  5. Not sure what you mean; didn't care much for the CSI episode itself. But this download of mine is not the episode, it's just an mp3 of the slightly remixed snippet of LOATR from the episode's end, in case there's a confusion ...
  6. Yeah, it took a while, but I finally took the time and ripped that thing. Here you go: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=3T5IPOLL
  7. Yeah, thought the same regarding Maestro; I only found a 30 seconds clip on You Tube from the Chicago show, which sounds really good. But as I said, Chester is really my only "door" to JK, so I can't really compare ...
  8. Ah right, thanks. A pity only Kick The Bass was available as Proshot (on the other hand, better than nothing I guess); currently checking out the AUD videos of that show on you tube. Pretty cool ...
  9. Don't care much for JK either; but I do for pretty much everything Chester is involved in (don't really like that song Technical Difficulties, but with Chester ... I just dig that man's voice) and DBS is gonna rock! Just hope the electronic JK influence will stay at a minimum and Chester keeps it straight forward ... oh wait, that JK song Chester performed at PR last year ...I think it was Kick The Bass, right?
  10. lol this is so retarded.
  11. The POA video is really amazing, I don't know what it is, something about the colors ...just great to look at. Indeed, every track seems to have its own visual identity, to some extend, due to the lighting and the video wall in the back. Really great! Didn't notice that as much when I saw them live. I can understand, though, why SIB wasn't put into the "main" set; not a very good peformance by Chester, and the track's audio on the DVD has been heavily altered to make that less obvious ...
  12. Don't forget the Fuse vote, it's pretty tight right now ... Can't wait for the 8.0 tracklist ...
  13. Whether you like MTM or not - what I find pretty great about the position LP is in right now: they're unpredictable. You can't tell right now where they're headed, music-wise. And that's an achievement, imho. Oh and a quick "hell yeah" to the Europe thing.
  14. And different strings added. But even withouth them, if you have a song and remove certain "layers", isn't that a remix as well? Sure not much work done, but it's still a different mix, so ...
  15. Couldn't find an existing topic about this, so I hope this is the right place to open one ... Last thursday was the Leave Out All The Rest CSI episode. At the end there was a nice short remix, only some seconds (or maybe it continued over the credits, my version, well, ended there ) that had some strings added to it and the chorus had a more acoustic feel to it, really good. I just can't get the audio ripped with the tools I have at hand here, maybe someone else could do it, or already has done so? Thanks a lot ...
  16. I know we're supposed to be specific ... but even though that may be a tough one, I'd like to throw in some Bucket Of Weenies. Any video/DVD would be incredible ... But anyhow, great call, thanks for your hard work in advance.
  17. Btw, wherever the MK DVD with this cover comes from, I want one ...
  18. You got a point there. Although I also doubt that they would start such new "project" without a new album in their back. Or maybe they would, thinking about it ...
  19. If I may add a thought, here and there I read that there could be a PR in summer 2009, with the new LP album out at the end of 2009. I don't really think that's possible. LP won't do a PR - or any other kind of tour for that matter - without a new album out. And a PR without LP ... I don't think this could happen. But I agree with most of you here, DBS album early next year (hopefully - it sure is about time), and the new LP album in late 2009. Sounds right to me. And Chaz could do some touring with DBS after the release of his solo album ...
  20. On the German Amazon page, at least Wake is part of the "Disk 2" tracklist: http://www.amazon.de/Road-Revolution-Live-..._1#disc_1"</a&gt'> http://www.amazon.de/Road-Revolution-Live-...ks_all_1#disc_1 Whatever that's worth ...
  21. Is that above mentioned "grand piano" version from the 2004 Meteroa tour available somewhere in one form or another?
  22. It is a PR08 show Not really. So chester lied? Yeah, and I guess my PR shirt is also screwed up then ...
  23. I wouldn't call myself a hater, I really like CC. But for my taste, it's enough. Granted, mine is the perspective of a die-hard fan, not the regular consumer, and when I mention CC recordings that we have, I'm talking about the complete Live 8 set, and also the MSG recording. And all that was great. But as mentioned before, LP doesn't release a live CD every other year, so if they finally do one again, I somehow want this to be pure LP. Of course they can stand on their own. that's my point. Why not just do it then? Btw, if they release a live single, what song do you guys think it will be? WID? At least that was one of the few good performances that night ...
  24. I'm happy that the next DVD will be of a European concert; and MK is the natural choice making in advance, since it was their biggest open air show. But performance-wise it was indeed an incredibly lackluster show (with the exception of Given Up - best performance this year. On Chester's part at least). Also, I can't stand the idea that once again there'll be an LP product with Jay-Z on it. Can't they stand on their own anymore, for f***'s sake? Not to mention that we really have enough CC live recordings ... And what's with all these technical difficulties? Whatever, I'm sure visually it's gonna be great - and I just hope the mixing won't be as catastrophic as on LIT. If this sounds again like a studio rehearsal or something, I'll go back to the DSP and never look back.
  25. Cool as hell would be a PR tour with both LP and DBS ... but is that realistic? Two sets each night for Chester? What would the other band memebers say? I guess that would be out of the question. Maybe they'll take Julien-K with them again and Chester can perform some DBS tracks as he likes ... {SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif
