  1. Thanks ... but can anyone actually watch this? Seems to be corrupted ....
  2. Was already obvious with the lag in the intro ... Is it the same with the one currently on demonoid? Haven't bothered to download so far. The version offered on this certain questionable east european fan site actually sounds pretty legit, though ...
  3. Translation of the tracklist on the amazon page reveals Fire as the second track.
  4. I'm sure this already came up a thousand times, but wasn't the "old" forum style easier to handle and to follow?
  5. Oops, right you are, sorry 'bout that. This structure can get a little complicated ...
  6. A quick question: were two of my posts deleted? Why? Because of a different opinion? Wow. Classy.
  7. I'm not really into JK, but each to their own. My only little complaint about LP has always been that their studio material often doesn't exploit Chester's vocal abillities to the fullest (while I don't necessarily mean the heavy stuff), something I love about the Grey Daze records. I'd hoped that Chester would go back to that. And he himself stated that the dbs record probably would have sounded very differently a while ago, so I can only guess if the changes that took place were actually for the better. Me, I wouldn't have minded Chester pulling a "singer/song writer" thing and just record himself with an acoustic guitar. Just so you know where I'm coming from. Of course I can only guess where what kind of influence comes from, but if you take Chester comments about the collaboration with the other guys you can make a pretty good guess ... Granted, considering I just dig Chester's voice live I may be biased. But ... blame someone else for something I don't like? Eh, what? Who else is there to blame? Myself? Whatever. In the end it's just an opinion.
  8. Great song. But ultimately, I prefer any live recording any time. In the studio version they tampered a little too much with Chester's voice for my taste, I guess partly due to the bad influence by the JK guys. I'd hoped for a more raw sound. Still, I like it.
  9. Speaking of the single release, on August 18th there only seems to be an online release, right? Is it know when the "real" single will hit, if at all?
  10. Well, considering those previous comments apparently someone's finished already.
  11. Where did you guys download it from? If it was from demonoid, you don't seem to be seeding ...
  12. eh ... any idea were that video of Chester's shoutout came from?! Being a perfect pro-shot recording and all ...
  13. Clever cover ... Btw, not sure if this already came up, but there's a new video on the DBS MySpace page.

    DBS tabs

Yup, Morning After has been around for quite some time, and was easy enough, anway. I also found the Let Down chords, but I'm not completely sure about this am-C-em-asus4 progression, especially the asus4 feels odd ...

    DBS tabs

Anyone here who by any chance found guitar tabs of DBS songs, or figured some out? I myself have been struggling so far ...
  16. That was to be expected ... that they show DBS, however, not so much, so this - if true - is really cool; a proshot of Crawl Back In is exactly what I need right now.
  17. Are you sure they started the DBS set with Fire again this time? They started with CBI at Knebworth; a way better choice, imo - and that one is still wrong in the Knebworth setlist here, btw.

    My Suffering

I love the verses in both versions, love the energy in the first version, but I also can't find much fault with the new one when Chester's performing it so wonderfully. No, the true crime is that the awesome bridge is gone, replaced by ... well, almost no bridge at all. Now that's a shame and something I can't really understand ...
  19. The performance is now up on the respective MTV websites: http://www.mtv.de/article/20244992 or http://www.mtv.co.uk/shows/mtv-world-stage...36;134859$
  20. Nope, haven't found any working proxy so far ...
  21. The following is a recording I did via Online TV Recorder. Unfortunatelly, in case of MTV it's only an analog recording, so the quality is not particularly good, but I thought I post it anyway. At least it's complete (the other rip had the beginning cut off; I love to see/hear Chester warming up ). For those who care: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=A6MOJDNX
  22. Megaupload single link: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=S9LFWDND The quality leaves a lot to be desired, though. Here's hoping for more rips coming up. At the very least, the show should be online on the MTV websites some time next week ...
  23. As another "adult" here I have to agree that rapidshare is pretty useless. The download speed for free users is a joke. I guess file factory and netload are the fastest right now (for free users, anyway). But that doesn't mean that someone here doesn't appreciate the effort of uploading, so thanks for that. Maybe someone who got the files can create some mirrors ... As for the apsect ratio, pretty much any program can handle it (maybe except WMP ), so no big deal.
  24. Yep, damn it, I was hoping for more. Oh well. BIO was cool too. Straight forward for a change. And ND ... I don't know if the song went through massive "post-production" or was just mixed pretty well, but it sounded great. Chester's voice was also edited I think, but it's less obvious here.
