No. No more package memberships.

I've been working for 14 hours, so I'm not gonna get into everything now, but I thought I'd comment. This is not an online only membership. Online content, with the exception of chats, will now be free. There's no point in charging people for online content that only remains exclusive for 5 minutes. The new LPU is all about the experience with the band. We're hoping to offer opportunities like we've never offered before. Regardless of what you think, people don't join lpu for the keychain, the t-shirt, or even the CD. People join for the experience with the band they can't get anywhere else. We want to improve that and stop using our resources to produce packages that never please everyone. I know now this seems a little crazy, but I hope you guys let us prove to you that things really are getting better for you. On another note, the CD download is NOT the LPUX CD.

A big thank you to Mark and the other LPL staff members who created the 30 second clips you hear for ALL of the songs in the app (except the catalyst which yours truly did)! It was a big undertaking and I'm very grateful for your help!!

This will be officially released by the band soon enough. Just a bummer WBR keeps beating the band to revealing their own shit! Props to Mark and the staff for holding on this before posting. I'm not saying everyone will share my enthusiasm for the new track, but honestly, my humble opinion is that it's great. It's fresh. It's not what you expect from Linkin Park, but it's what you SHOULD expect from Linkin Park because it's just a really quality song. The whole time I was listening I kept thinking "shit... this song is epic. like, movie soundtrack epic, but not corny epic."

One of the better posts I've ever seen on this website. I've heard the whole song, and I think it's great. I'm not just saying that because I work for the band. At the video shoot I stood there with my jaw open. It was something totally unexpected, but it excited me as if LP has been my favorite band forever. That's my opinion, and I don't expect everyone to share it. Just wanted to add to the convo.
