    The best bit was Healing Foot being “released” on my birthday 😂 It would be something wouldn’t it - imagine a new mashup that didn’t make the EP 🤯 I have to believe there’ll be at least new merch for it, but I’d be AMAZED if there’s anything else

    For every reason you said it’s amazing (which you’re 100% correct), is why it wasn’t finished. If this was made in the MTM, ATS, even THP era, it would absolutely have made it. But it’s too different to even the different tracks on Meteora. I’m holding out hope that, like Fighting Myself, there’s a version on a lost (now found) hard drive or Pro Tools session

    I put all the forgotten demos (minus the couple we already had) from HT20 in an album called “Hybrid Theory - 20th Anniversary Edition” with the box set cover on iTunes (as I had all the other tracks already), then added the leaked Pictureboard - Xero Demo to the end of it. Was going to do this with M20 and Lost - 2002 Mix too, but as it’s being officially released on the Meteora disc I’m conflicted aha

    Fighting Myself is very, very much a demo until the bridge - then holy shit it takes off Totally get why it was dropped - it would have needed too much work to fit the album and the were better choices, but wow it’s a good song

    I hate that these are the “remasters” and still being labeled as the originals Thankfully, the internet never forgets! Took me ages a few years back, but managed to find the originals in FLAC

    The process of doing this for Star Trek: TNG on BluRay was incredible. Literally had to find the original reels of film in storage, and re-edit the corresponding takes that were used in the original cuts, re-cut them and redo all the special effects and sounds - down to the planets and backgrounds - in every shot for 180 episodes

    They do a fucking great job for the fans, except for the CONSTANT rebuilding of the LPU website - once again the servers are changing and migrating to a new service and you’ll need to save this and that, you’ll lose posts, the app is obsolete, etc etc etc

    All we know for sure is that the CD bundle is the only physical pressing of that track. It could still turn up on LPU or the QR code as a surprise track, cause we don’t know what either are getting as part of the release.

    I was going to preorder the super deluxe, but then the opportunity to get out of debt came up and I spent (amongst more) the money I’d been putting aside for two years on that instead I’ll grab it one day, but for now I have priorities

    The vocals are great, but the instrumental is mixed like shit I so wish it was heavier and grittier, it would play off the vocals so well
