Then why did the Zomba! New Music Sampler version with Mark Wakefield on vocals get played on the Linkin Park radio last night?
On Genius, lawrenceskm said he heard the Xero Demo Tape version, not the Zomba Music Sampler version.
He said and I quote "I’ve listened to the Sirius XM radio premiere of the song and the one that played was the Tape version, not the studio 1998 version. Both Reading My Eyes and Rhinestone are from the tape."

Maybe when someone gets the Super Deluxe Box Set, they should do scans of the whole box set.

What about Stick N Move?
12 hours ago, berryaaron11 said:Okay, so the song Rhinestone DOES infact have Mark Wakefield on vocals, and it IS the 1998 Zomba version as well.
12 hours ago, Diaux said:They played on Sirius and is the Zomba version
I heard that Rhinestone is the Xero Demo Tape version, not the Zomba! New Music Sampler 1999 version.

I think it´s more likely that the Xero version of "Slip" will be leaked someday
Lets hope that the Xero version of Slip gets leaked someday.

I think there has been no confirmation Mark ever recorded Slip, but we generally assume he did because he is credited for the song on the LPU 11 booklet. He is not credited for Blue or So Far Away.
Got it.

Were Mark's vocals originally on So Far Away and Blue, before Chester joined the band, since they are labeled as 1998 demos? Or did they not have Mark on vocals? We know Mark's vocals were originally on Slip, meaning Slip was originally a Xero song.

"Slip" had vocals by Mark, but I think that version was never leaked
I hope Mark or Mike have the Xero version of the song. But I'm just thinking.
I also hope that the Xero version of Slip will be released or leaked possibly.

If there is a Xero version of Esaul, then is there a Xero version of Slip?
Also, I thought it was said that In The End (Demo) [LPU Rarities] was going to be pre-released sometime this month. It's September the 30th, the last day of the month.
When is it going to be pre-released? But knowing these facts now, it might just be speculation.

They probably won’t come out before the actual release.
it was all just speculation.
Ok.
When is In The End (Demo) [LPU Rarities] supposed to be released this month?

It’s Friday & all the snippets haven’t come out. Do we have to wait longer for the snippets?

Because I was checking some albums there before and in all cases the snippets were available there. I think that one album got the snippets even two weeks before the planned release date.
I think you can start to check for them two weeks before the HT20 release date, that will be in few days.
Tomorrow, I think we can look on plan9music.com for the Hybrid Theory (20th Anniversary Edition) snippets.
(Edit): Tomorrow, it will be two weeks from release day for Hybrid Theory (20th Anniversary Edition).
-
We are also getting Step Up twice. There will be one on the Hybrid Theory EP & one on the B-Side Rarities. Do we really need two of the same track?
-
What day during this month will the song (In The End (Demo) [LPU Rarities]) come out?

In The End (Demo) [LPU Rarities] (03:48) will be released soon.
How and where did you get this information from?
(Edit): I saw the information for the song in the LP Digital section of LPLive.

https://plan9music.com/UPC/093624893240 - snippets for all songs will be available here in few days. So we should likely add "demo" to all songs from "Forgotten Demos" disc.
It’s already been a few days and all the snippets for all the songs aren’t showing up.
(Edit): The only snippets I’ve seen are for the whole album of Hybrid Theory, & She Couldn’t off the “Forgotten Demos” disc.(Edit): I wonder now when the other snippets for the other songs will be released?

I think we should wait for the official release. I mean the box set is gonna include Chesters version and it wouldn't surprise me if some of the lyrics will be changed.
Okay. I'm guessing we can wait until the Chester variation/version is out before the lyrics are put down.

Someone might need to add the information for the Xero version of Pictureboard on Linkinpedia.

Linkin Park recorded demos with Mark in the studio after the Xero tape. The Xero tape was recorded right to tape, so that's the ONLY version that exists for those exact performances of the song.
So in 1998 they got money to get new gear, and recorded Esaul, Rhinestone, Pictureboard, Slip, etc with Mark - and likely all of these Xero songs except for maybe Fuse. We think this will be a studio quality Reading My Eyes, much much better than the Xero tape.
I'm also gonna guess Dialate was also done around that time too?
And you also said that Stick N Move (Demo) has Chester's vocals on the track.
-
Also is Reading My Eyes (Xero Demo) the same version as the version off the Xero Demo Tape from 1997?
-
The songs that I'm looking the most forward to from this huge album are:

I think that Mike's quote on PB being played on 2000 was a little off, he probably got the years mixed up or something so everybody instantly thought about those shows
Okay. I get it. Mike got the years mixed up and everyone thought about the shows he talked about.

I would really want to listen to Pictureboard live when the song was played live that one time at one of the two shows in West Hollywood, California in June or July 2000 when Linkin Park changed their name from Hybrid Theory. Unfortunately, not only are the set lists from both shows unknown, but also no audio or video footage of the shows have been found.

Did you also record Esaul (Xero Demo)?
